"Hey! Can you talk properly?" Leon Zane hid behind Azure Phoenix. "For a wild and rude woman like you, being someone's concubine would already be a blessing! What more do you want?"

"Say that again, and I'll whip you to death!" Rina Chu gritted her teeth.

"What's going on?" Azure Phoenix asked her. "I've only been gone a couple of days, and now you're calling him your husband?"

"Hmph! This oddball has an even odder father!" Rina Chu said. "That day I went to find Leon Zane and asked him to go to the Celestial Empress for you, his dad actually said Leon should take responsibility for me and make me his concubine! He even asked where my parents were so he could send the betrothal gifts!"

Leon Zane smirked, "Wasn't it you who badmouthed me to the princess? How can you blame my dad?"

"I don't care! Just go clear things up with your dad!" Rina Chu stomped her foot.

"There's no clearing it up! My dad is the Azure Dragon Lord. His word is only one rank below the Celestial Emperor's decree! So, whether you want to or not, you have to accept it!"

"Leon Zane!" Rina Chu walked up to him, raising an eyebrow. "Are you secretly in love with me and too embarrassed to say so, so you keep using your dad as an excuse?"

"Pfft!" Leon Zane burst out laughing. "In love with you? Oh my god! I have no idea where you get that kind of confidence!"
