"Are you looking for death?"
Hearing Ian Song's provocative words, Galen Silverwing's second brother instinctively moved to attack Ian, but Galen Silverwing stopped him: "Second Brother, what are you doing?"
Jiang Ming snapped coldly, "What am I doing? Can't you see this kid is provoking me?"
Galen Silverwing said in a deep voice, "Second Brother, he actually has a point. If we kill him, we really won't be able to enter the Life Ancient Land. If you ruin everyone's chance to get in, even our eldest brother won't let you off!"
"Second Brother, calm down. Breaking a formation isn't as easy as eating or drinking—why rush?"
Galen Silverwing's eldest brother, Jiang Rong, spoke up. Although he was persuading Jiang Ming, he was actually criticizing him for stirring up trouble.
Jiang Ming wanted to argue further, but saw that even the Tiano Clan's Upper Heavenly Gods were giving him unfriendly looks. Only then did he realize he'd angered everyone.
"Hmph! I'll let you off this time!"
Ian ignored them and continued to observe the formation on the Skybridge. After about an hour, he began weaving formation hand seals and quickly tossed out several formation disks.
The disks spun in midair, shining brightly as they formed a gate of light.
"Alright, just pass through this light gate and you'll enter the formation!" Ian announced.
"Let's go!"
The two Upper Heavenly Gods from the Jensen Clan and the three from the Tiano Clan couldn't wait and rushed into the light gate.
"Little brother, let's go too!"
Rhea Redmoon came up to Ian, grabbing him to follow into the light gate.
"Sis, brother-in-law, hold on!"
Ian called out. As he spoke, he formed a quick seal, and the light gate vanished instantly.
"Ian, what do you mean by this?"
Galen Silverwing asked with a grim look.
Ian smiled and explained, "Sis, brother-in-law, I've checked this grand array. It's one body inside and out—unless you reach God-King level, you can't brute-force your way through. If you want to share what's behind the other eight Skybridges with those five, I won't say a word."
Rhea giggled, "You're really my good little brother!"
Rhea Redmoon instantly understood Ian's meaning—he was planning to trap those five inside, so they couldn't escape.
Galen Silverwing wasn't slow either; he immediately realized and said to Ian, "Sorry, Ian, I misunderstood you!"
"No worries! Let me set things up and trap them for good!"
As he spoke, Ian tossed out several more formation disks, weaving hand seals one after another, and soon a grand array was formed.
Then, the three of them retreated to the platform.
"Brother-in-law, could you smash this Skybridge?"
Ian added.
Galen Silverwing gave Ian a deep look, feeling a new sense of wariness toward him.
To reach the Life Ancient Land, you had to cross the Skybridge. Once the bridge was destroyed, even a God-King couldn't cross, so even if those five escaped the array, they couldn't return to the platform.
As Galen Silverwing went to destroy the Skybridge, Rhea Redmoon pulled Ian aside, saying, "Little brother, Galen and I are only fake husband and wife—don't call him brother-in-law anymore!"
"Okay!"
Ian nodded.
Rhea Redmoon suddenly smiled at Ian, "You're so sly—are you sure you won't trick your sister too?"
"Sister treats me so well—how could I ever trick her?"
Ian replied earnestly.
Soon, Galen Silverwing shattered the Skybridge. The three of them then moved to another Skybridge, and this time, Ian created a formation light gate in just a quarter hour.
But neither Galen nor Rhea rushed inside—they were clearly on guard against Ian.
"Let's go!"
Ian stepped in first, with Galen Silverwing and Rhea Redmoon following close behind.
Just as expected.
Behind the Skybridge lay a miniature Life Ancient Land. The moment Ian entered, he sensed a surge of vibrant life force—if you cultivated here, your progress would soar.
At the center of the Life Ancient Land stood a colossal tree.
The tree was laden with fruits of every color.
"That's the Law Divine Tree!"
Galen Silverwing cried out and shot toward the tree.
Rhea Redmoon grabbed Ian and followed, flying up to the tree.
"Sis, what's the Law Divine Tree?"
Ian asked, puzzled.
Rhea Redmoon explained, "Ordinary gods cultivate divine power; Heavenly Gods cultivate laws; God-Kings cultivate the Dao; God Emperors cultivate origin. The Law Divine Tree bears Law Divine Fruits—eating one purifies and strengthens your law power!
Both Galen Silverwing and I have reached the peak of Upper Heavenly God. If we purify our law power, we'll be one step closer to becoming God-Kings! But the Law Divine Tree is a chaos spiritual root born of heaven and earth—each person can only pick one Law Divine Fruit, or else they'll face Heavenly Punishment!"
Whoosh!
Galen Silverwing leapt up, reached out, and caught a silver Law Divine Fruit, then swallowed it and sat cross-legged to absorb its power.
Rhea Redmoon also picked a fiery red Law Divine Fruit, swallowed it, and sat down to cultivate.
Ian hadn't reached the Heavenly God realm yet.
Law Divine Fruits didn't work for him yet, but only a fool would pass up a treasure—he couldn't use it now, but he might need it later. So he picked one and put it in his Storage Divine Ring.
Looking at the hundreds of Law Divine Fruits on the tree, Ian hesitated—should he try picking more?
"I have the Resurrection Divine Ability—if Heavenly Punishment kills me, I can just come back!"
With that, he jumped up again and picked another Law Divine Fruit.
"Nothing happened?"
