Leon King stared intently at Cecilia Gu. "So, you still refuse to cooperate with me?"
Cecilia Gu smiled and shook her head. "Leon, you're a talented and ambitious man. Honestly, men like you aren't suitable for marriage. But I still want to give you some advice. While you're young, love with all your heart—no matter how much it hurts. That's the only way to make this life worthwhile."
Leon King didn't answer.
"Maybe you think falling in love is troublesome. It distracts you from business, from making money, and makes you look foolish. But what's the point of living? Is it just for those empty numbers? You and I—we're not short of money. Since we aren't, why not chase the meaning of life instead?"
"I'm not usually one to preach. But it seems like I've been preaching all along. So let me be a little naggy today," Cecilia said with a smile. "Leon, if you ever meet a girl who makes you act foolish, remember—never let go, never let her leave. Because to you, she's one of a kind."
"Maybe you can't understand what I mean now, or even for a while. But that's okay—time will teach you everything." After saying this, Cecilia turned and left gracefully. "Take care of yourself."
After finishing the dance, Cecilia politely declined any further invitations.
Back at her seat, Wendy had already heated up the milk and brought it over.
Now that she's pregnant again, Cecilia is sticking with juice and milk.
No more alcohol for her.
Cecilia Gu took the milk, and seeing Little Wang's happy face, couldn't help but ask, "Why are you so cheerful?"
"Just now, Xiao A said the CEO has already given the Tenghao Branch to Cousin." Little Wang couldn't contain his excitement, his face glowing with joy. "That means Cousin's future is secure!"
Cecilia Gu looked at Little Wang in surprise. "What about Yin Siyao?"
"Second Young Master Yin has been transferred back to headquarters by the CEO," Little Wang replied. "I don't know what he did, but the CEO was very pleased. So his probation ended early, and now he's reporting to headquarters."
Cecilia Gu blinked, pausing for a moment before speaking. "That's really unexpected. Did something happen that I don't know about?"
"You'll know when you get back," Little Wang answered with a smile.
Cecilia Gu nodded.
Jing Rong picked up his wine glass and clinked it gently with Yin Sicheng. "President Yin, thank you so much."
Yin Sicheng smiled with a mischievous charm. "No need to thank me. I love a win-win situation."
After saying this, Yin Sicheng glanced at Jing Lin in the distance and smiled. "Your nephew is no ordinary person! You'd better keep a close eye on him."
"That's right. Of all the third generation, my brothers had so many kids, but only Jing Ling stood out. My father liked him best, and raised him as the heir from a young age." Jing Rong said with a face of indifference, "Especially since I later became so useless, such a disappointment. All the family's resources were tilted towards him, while the rest of us just got enough to eat, drink, and play. Jing Ling, though, got all the serious training."
"Feeling sentimental?" Yin Sicheng looked at Jing Rong with a half-smile.
"Yeah. Now that I've dropped the mask, my brothers are finally starting to make their moves." Jing Rong sighed. "If it weren't for President Yin's help, I doubt I could've turned things around this quickly."
"Your nephew is coming over." Yin Sicheng saw Jing Ling walking this way and asked, "Do you want me to step aside for a bit?"
"No need. Let's hear what he has to say together." Jing Rong's eyes flashed. "I want to see what kind of tricks he can pull off."
Soon, Jing Ling walked over.
He stood in front of Jing Rong and Yin Sicheng, gave Jing Rong a complicated look, and said, "Grandfather wants to see you."
Jing Rong was taken aback. "Looking for me? Right now?"
After saying this, Jing Rong laughed, "Alright, I'll go right now."
Jing Rong flashed Yin Sicheng a meaningful smile, then quickly turned and left.
