Star-Gate Authority

1/11/2026

Crackle! Crackle!

Those golden-red eyes shimmered with starlight, leaving a trail of brilliance wherever they passed—Soul-Will at Fifth-Order Creation Light!

The years spent cultivating and evolving flowed by like water. Carefully calculating, it’s been almost three years since Andrew Han entered the Archaic Hall and joined the Spark-Heritage Zone’s Primordial Gate—three blue Earth orbital years.

Three years—over a thousand days and nights!

Andrew Han had always maintained a state of high-speed cultivation, never slacking for a moment.

To truly stand firm in the Primordial Gate, Fifth-Order Creation Light was the baseline requirement. Facing these Primordial Gate Geniuses, without Fifth-Order Creation Light, all talk was meaningless—there was no way to compete.

Thinking of this,

Andrew Han slowly stood up and brushed his immaculate cyan robe. "My Soul-Will system has finally reached Creation Light. Also, thanks to Lily Huang’s sister Serena Huang sharing that information, I’ve comprehended four basic traits and mastered the Profound Trait 'Silent Chaos Seal.'"

Lucy Han

I must admit, the cultivation environment in the Primordial Gate is truly extraordinary. From now on, there’s no need to worry about martial arts—just progress step by step, validating what I think, what I learn. In the future, my martial path may well rival my Soul-Will.

Andrew Han half turned, his empty left palm reaching for the void, directly grabbing the second Essence-Light Stone.

He extended his right fingertip.

With a gentle tap.

Boom!!

A subtle, exquisite sigil manifested at his fingertip, imprinting onto the Essence-Light Stone—like a celestial canopy bestowing a starry seal—crushing the round stone to powder.

This made Andrew Han’s lips curl into a smile. “It seems this Silent Chaos Seal is stronger than most Profound Traits.”

The Profound Trait ‘Silent Chaos Seal’ requires six basic traits: Heavy, Sturdy, Enlargement, Blazing, Lightning, and Balance.

After much comparison, Silent Chaos Seal far surpassed ordinary Profound Traits, at least standing above the Starfire Cloud trait cultivated by Sen of the Pink-Skin Humans from the Chenriver Empire.

Because once Silent Chaos Seal is mastered, it can transition into Chaotic Void World, a simplified Ultimate Trait.

Every Ultimate Trait possesses world-shattering, ultimate power.

Aside from Chaotic Void World from the Mo-Tai Legacy, Andrew Han searched the Primordial Gate’s archives and found several Ultimate Traits suitable for him: Myriad-Transform Void, Golden Nether Stone-Rock, Dark Emperor’s Order, True Bridge to the Far Shore.

"However."

Andrew Han shook his head, somewhat regretful. "The minimum requirement for cultivating an Ultimate Trait is Stellar Palace Tier. At Starlight Tier, the martial body simply can’t support an Ultimate Trait. It’s like carving on fragile rice paper—it’s bound to break."

If a Starlight-tier lifeform forcibly cultivates an Ultimate Trait, either there will be no progress, or their life will collapse.

"There’s no rush for now." Andrew Han would never risk his life, nor gamble his fate to challenge the Human Race’s public standards... He was still young, just entering the Primordial Gate with much ahead.

Most importantly—

He still wanted to go home.

At this thought, the golden-red starlight in Andrew Han’s eyes gradually faded, returning to clear black and white. The joy of his Soul-Will’s breakthrough to Fifth-Order Creation Light temporarily subsided, replaced by homesickness. “It’s already been three years. I wonder how Dad, Mom, Lucy Han, and Meng are doing… Actually, there’s no need to worry—as long as I survive, who would dare touch my loved ones?”

Pat. Pat.

Unknowingly, Andrew Han’s sense of belonging to the Human Race deepened.

But—

Andrew Han was mature in mind; he could never fully trust.

The current Emperor of the Chenriver Empire, Zhen Gu, once said: "Trust is possible, but you must first have the capital for trust!"

"I don’t have that capital yet." A hint of worry flickered in his eyes. "The key is Lucy’s unique constitution, which allows her to assist Sealed Celestial Bodies in communicating with stars. I haven’t found any records of it."

To assist a Sealed Celestial Body—how mysterious!

Even though Andrew Han was calm and broad-minded, with a vision expanded beyond measure, whenever he thought about this, he was still shaken.

"The odds that the Human Race will treat Lucy well are very, very high."

With his Primordial Gate authority, he should be able to investigate.

Yet—

Andrew Han did not dare to search directly!

If his browsing activity caught the attention of the Spark-Heritage Zone’s intelligent core, how would he explain that someone born on a humble life planet knew about shortcuts for Sealed Celestial cultivation?

He couldn’t explain it; there was no reasonable justification.

It would be like a grade-schooler from a small county transferring to the imperial capital and knowing state secrets!

"Eh?"

Andrew Han gave a faint sound, shaking his head and smiling wryly.

Somehow, his thoughts drifted to the schooling system on Earth—elementary, middle, high school, and university—matching perfectly with the Archaic Hall’s Spark-Heritage Zone: Standard Gate, Primordial Gate, Primeval Gate, and Eternal Gate. "By that logic, I’m not a grade-schooler... I’m a middle-schooler."

This analogy amused him.

In truth, the root cause was Andrew Han’s homesickness; nostalgia led him to reminisce, naturally stirring memories of his homeland.

"Enough of these thoughts."

Andrew Han shook his head.

As long as he kept moving forward, kept climbing, any problem would eventually be solved.

"Starlight-tier martial arts, infused with Soul-Will from the Crystal Diamond..." His soft murmur echoed through the main hall flooded with twin-star radiance, its quietude comforting. His cyan robe fluttered as he walked out of the manor’s main hall, finally qualified to truly step into the Primordial Gate.

Up to this point:

Soul-Will at Fifth-Order Creation Light, with more than four thousand Consciousness Nodes.

Martial body at Fifth-Order Creation Light, mastering a special Profound Trait that could transition into an Ultimate Trait.

...

In the boundless pale-red void, countless cosmic spectacles stretched in every direction—twin stars, clusters of planets, collapsing nebulae. The Primordial Gate appeared tranquil and vast, but competition was fierce beneath the surface.

Pat.

Andrew Han left the manor, his right foot stepping onto the light-heat torrent.

Tap. Tap. Tap.—his footsteps rang out, neither light nor heavy. In truth, Andrew Han was exerting nearly all his Starlight-tier martial strength; he could shatter asteroids with a step.

Yet—

The thin membrane covering the light-heat torrent did not budge.

There wasn’t the slightest response. Andrew Han kept strolling, chuckling softly, "Beibeili, is this what you call everywhere being dangerous? Hurry out yourself, or I’ll make you come out."

"Master." Beibeili’s phantom appeared, sitting on Andrew Han’s shoulder.

"Master, master, all living things with emotions inevitably fear Supreme Lifeforms. It’s not my fault the Human Race is so terrifying—if I tremble a little, it’s normal. If you keep teasing Beibeili, I’ll... I’ll..."

"You’ll what?"

"I’ll jump down from here!"

Beibeili made a disgruntled noise and leapt off Andrew Han’s shoulder, landing with a splat on the transparent membrane.

Andrew Han rarely came out; Beibeili was the same.

So, for the first time in its life, Beibeili saw the power of stellar light and heat up close, nearly crashing its core in fright, almost letting out a pitiful shriek.

"Awooo!!!"

Scared, Beibeili hurried back to Andrew Han’s shoulder, sitting still and not daring to move.

"Haha." Andrew Han laughed for once. "Let me ask you—how’s your studying going?"

Beibeili took two deep breaths. "Master, the manor’s archive is tightly regulated. Some data is only for your eyes. But for the unencrypted info, Beibeili has mastered most of it."

Over the past three years, as Andrew Han grew stronger, Beibeili also expanded its knowledge base.

The strength of an intelligent core depends on the size of its database. Compared to before, Beibeili proudly puffed out its white fluffy chest. "Beibeili is no longer what it used to be—no more mistakes."

"That’s good."

Andrew Han smiled contentedly, in a good mood.

He left the manor, strolling along the light-heat torrent. This torrent stretched tens of thousands of kilometers between two stars, with countless manors nestled along its length.

...

Occasionally, a stream of light flashed and vanished into the void; Andrew Han knew it was a Primordial-tier genius leaving their residence.

...

Occasionally, gazes focused on him; Andrew Han returned each with a smile.

...

He looked up at the sky.

No longer pure blue, but a hall-space filled with pale-red matter.

...

If not for the pale-red void and the two towering stars before and behind him, Andrew Han might have felt like he was wandering Earth’s Huaguo mountain cliffs and glass bridges.

But the light-heat torrent below reminded Andrew Han—

This was a cosmic spectacle within the Primordial Gate of the Archaic Hall’s Spark-Heritage Zone!

He kept walking forward.

After less than half an hour,

Andrew Han arrived at an open manor with a distinctive style.

The manor was vast, filled with all manner of bizarre architecture. He caught glimpses of uniquely-featured Human Race geniuses, and every so often, flames and lightning phenomena flowed within, showcasing the wonders of the cosmos.

"The manor of the sisters Huangquan and Huanghe."

Andrew Han stepped inside, familiar with the place. What greeted him were crystal tables and chairs, groups of Primordial-tier geniuses holding exotic juices or fragrant wines, chatting and bantering. There were about three hundred people at a glance.

Most of these Primordial-tier geniuses were at the Palace-level.

Of course, just by appearances, it was hard to tell Starlight-tier from Palace-level; only by sensing their aura could one distinguish.

"Hey, Andrew Han."

"Haha, Andrew Han, you’re here again."

"Come have a drink—Huanghe was just calling for you, and now you’ve shown up yourself."

Instantly, several Primordial-tier geniuses greeted him warmly, three or four raising their glasses to Andrew Han—not strangers, somewhat familiar.

Those who greeted him were all Starlight-tier.

Though all were Primordial-tier geniuses, Palace-level rarely befriended Starlight-tier—after all, the gap in realm was clear.

"Just finished training, came out for a stroll. The random duels are about to start again." Andrew Han grinned at the burly man approaching, bumping fists left-right-left-right-left five times.

It was a custom from the burly man’s homeland.

Not so much “when in Rome,” but out of respect. Andrew Han took the cup offered by the burly man, stepped forward, and sat at the edge of a round table.

Many Primordial-tier geniuses glanced over: "Is that Andrew Han?"

"I heard Andrew Han accepted Huanghe’s invitation and lost twice in a row, couldn’t even put up a fight."

"That’s right, Andrew Han is definitely the weakest Starlight-tier in the Primordial Gate. Even as a newcomer, he shouldn’t be this feeble. He climbed the second step of the Sparkfire Mountain—barely passed, but it was a grueling battle, just scraping by the entry standard."

This was Palace-level gossip, all exchanged via secret voice transmission.

In public, openly criticizing a fellow Primordial-tier genius with no grudge was extremely foolish. In the Primordial Gate, there were no fools.

On the other side—

Three or five Starlight-tier Primordial geniuses gathered around Andrew Han.

"Huanghe will be out soon. Andrew Han, are you ready? I bet you’ll last three seconds this time."

"Come, let’s drink first. This is my treasured Dragonflame Wine. Since you’re about to lose, I’ll give you two cups." There was no malice—it was normal for Andrew Han to be in the adjustment period, not losing would be abnormal.

Andrew Han didn’t mind.

But the burly man who fist-bumped Andrew Han was displeased, grumbling, "Little Lu, did you win every match when you first joined the Primordial Gate? Didn’t need an adjustment period?"

The man laughed awkwardly, "Just joking, I was only joking."

"Hmph."

The burly man snorted, then saw Andrew Han already picking up the Dragonflame Wine.

"Muyu, let me ask you something." Andrew Han gulped two big mouthfuls of the burning wine, looking at the rugged-faced Muyu. "How do we increase our network access? There’s so much info I can’t view—every time I click, it says insufficient permission."

Network access?

Muyu was stunned, not understanding.

"I mean Gate permissions—I’m just used to my hometown’s phrasing." Andrew Han laughed.

Muyu nodded. "There are thirty-six levels of Hall permissions. For us in the Primordial Gate, starting permissions are between level eight and eleven... To increase them, either ascend to a higher Gate or complete the threefold Primordial assessment."
