Mina didn’t exactly fall for Evan Chu at first sight, but she couldn’t help feeling a strange, unexplainable warmth toward him. Still, she knew her own situation—both her looks and status couldn’t compare to the four stunning women in front of her.

Plus, she was from the Sea Regions, and he’d definitely leave someday. But if nothing else, she’d at least remembered one thing—she finally knew the name of this mysterious man: Evan Chu.

"Heh, Linfeng, she’s not some mermaid princess, is she? Where did you pick her up from? Don’t tell me there are women like this hiding inside that spatial black hole?" Dream Fairy teased.

"Actually, I was just about to tell you all about it. I broke through the spatial black hole, but instead of landing in the God Realm, I ended up inside the legendary Sea Regions. Now I’m stuck here too, can’t get out either," Evan Chu explained.

Mistress Rainveil’s face changed the moment she heard Evan mention the Sea Regions. "Linfeng, you’re saying you actually entered the Sea Regions? That’s impossible! There’s always been a powerful barrier separating Sea Regions and the mainland, way stronger than any spatial black hole. No one’s gotten in or out for millions of years. Looks like you’ve really landed yourself in trouble this time."

Nobody from the mainland has ever entered the Sea Regions, and nobody from the Sea Regions has ever made it to the mainland either. It’s been that way for tens of millions of years. Looks like you’re really in a mess now."

"Tell me about it. I even killed a few late-stage God-Venerable experts. Things got way out of hand. Right now, I’m back in the Timewheel Bracelet, recovering my strength—and I brought two others with me. They’re resting up too," Evan Chu said.

"Just be careful. There’s not much we can do to help you. So, what’s your plan now?" Mistress Rainveil asked.

"I’ll figure it out once I’m back to full strength. No way those guys are letting me go so easily. The Sea Regions are way stronger than the mainland—late-stage God-Venerables are everywhere. Just the East Sea Domain Palace sent ten late-stage God-Venerables after me. What can I do besides hide?" Evan Chu said helplessly.

Of course, if I really wanted to leave, it wouldn’t be hard. But there’s no point running for nothing. If I want to get back to the God Realm, I’ll have to enter the secret domain and see if the North Sea Dominion Lord and the others left any clues when they met that supreme expert all those years ago.

But to get into the secret domain, I’ll need to reach North Sea Dominion Palace. To do that, I’ve got to find Ghostshade Herb for Mina, and that means heading to Sea Dragon Hall. Every step has to be taken in order. But right now, I’ve pissed off East Sea Domain Palace, so all I can do is handle the crisis in front of me first.

The rest can wait. Evan Chu felt like the pressure was crushing him, but there was nothing he could do—he’d have to rely on himself to get through.

Then Evan Chu introduced Mistress Rainveil and the other three women to Mina, and explained Mina’s background. When they learned how tragic Mina’s life had been, all four women felt a deep sympathy for her, though there wasn’t much they could do to help.

Mina wasn’t some uptight, old-fashioned girl either. Even though she was from the Sea Regions, she quickly hit it off with Mistress Rainveil and the others. Before long, they were chatting like old friends—almost close enough to call each other sisters.

Meanwhile, Evan Chu took out the Chaos Pearl and started absorbing its energy. Using Icefire Divine Eye, Absolute Cleave, and Wind-God Sword Art had burned through a ton of Chaos Divine Power. He needed to replenish it if he wanted to face whatever came next.

After about half a day, Evan Chu was fully recovered. He stood up and said to the women, "Mina’s in your hands for now. I’m going to check on Fire Dragon and Icewolf."

As for Old Gold and Shadow, Evan Chu didn’t plan to visit them—letting them cultivate was best. The stronger they got, the more help they’d be in the future.

After leaving the cave, Evan Chu checked up on Fire Dragon and the others with his divine sense. Everyone was in seclusion, and it didn’t look like anyone had broken through yet, but their faces all seemed relaxed. Maybe they were about to make a breakthrough soon.

The next few days, Evan Chu naturally spent some time doing things with Dream Fairy and Lingxiao that weren’t exactly suitable for children. They were all completely satisfied, and the two women’s power kept rising—any day now, they might break through to the next realm.

Evan Chu knew time inside the Timewheel Bracelet flowed differently than outside. He’d have to stay here for a hundred days before he could use Icefire Divine Eye a second time—otherwise, he’d be stuck on the defensive again.

A hundred days flew by in a blink. During that time, Silver Dragon had already recovered his strength and even met up with Mistress Rainveil, Zhong Ling, and the others. Mina’s father made huge progress too—he actually broke through to late-stage God-King Realm here, and was on the verge of stepping into the God-Emperor Realm.

He’d never imagined this outcome before. He thought he was a cripple for life, but Evan Chu’s arrival changed everything. He was endlessly grateful to Evan Chu.

One day, Silver Dragon said to Evan Chu, "Young Master, we’ve been here for days now. Shouldn’t we go out and take a look? After all, we’re still stuck in the Sea Regions—we need to figure out a way out."

Evan Chu understood what Silver Dragon meant—he’d been thinking about going out too. "Yeah, it’s about time. But this time, I’m going out alone. You all stay here until I give the word."

"No way, Young Master! How can we let you take all the risks? If there’s danger, it should be us going out, not you!" Silver Dragon protested.

"Silver Dragon, enough! If I run into trouble, I can jump into the Timewheel Bracelet anytime—can you? I can earthshift—can you? I can go invisible—can you? Just stay put and don’t make things harder!" Evan Chu snapped.

Silver Dragon didn’t like the idea of Evan Chu going out alone, but there was nothing he could do. Evan Chu didn’t want to argue either—he focused his mind and exited the Timewheel Bracelet. But instead of surfacing right away, he used his divine sense to slowly scan the outside through the layers of earth.

He checked for ages but didn’t sense any movement, which struck him as odd. Evan Chu couldn’t help wanting to go up and have a look. By all logic, the East Sea Domain Palace people should’ve left by now, but something inside told him they hadn’t.

Just then, one of the East Sea Domain Palace God-Venerables smirked. "Kid, you finally crawled out. I’ve been waiting here for ten whole days—you’ve got patience, I’ll give you that. But let’s see where you run this time."

With a flick of his finger, he sent a beam of white light shooting into the sky. Instantly, it seemed to trigger some kind of barrier—the whole area shook violently, and the other East Sea Domain Palace experts noticed right away. In a flash, they all flew toward the God-Venerable’s location.

It only took a few breaths for them to arrive. The Grand Elder’s face lit up as he asked, "Did you spot the kid’s trail?"

"That’s right. Just now, I sensed him using his divine sense to check the area. I kept my aura hidden, so he didn’t notice me," the God-Venerable replied.

"Good. This time, let’s make him die nice and slow. He needs to learn exactly what it costs to cross East Sea Domain Palace," the Grand Elder said coldly...
