Members of the Dragon Clear Brotherhood and the Inagawa Syndicate had already started fighting hand-to-hand, their brutal battle cries shaking the entire building. Stray bullets occasionally whizzed up to the rooftop—clearly, it was pure chaos now.
"Hmm... We need to act fast. If the Tokyo police get involved, things will get messy..." Ray Tang frowned as he spoke.
"Are we supposed to take out every single Inagawa Syndicate member in this building?" Shawn Young asked.
"Uh... No need. There's not enough time. All we have to do is find Kojiro Kuroda, the head of the Inagawa Syndicate's Tokyo branch. That should settle things." Ray Tang replied.
"Oh, so you're planning to catch the ringleader first!" Shawn Young said, catching on.
"That's right. This was supposed to be Kojiro Kuroda's office, but he's not here—must've slipped away. Finding him is going to be a real pain," Ray Tang said.
"Uh... So where do you think Kojiro Kuroda would run off to?" Shawn Young asked.
"This whole building is owned by the Inagawa Syndicate. I bet there are secret passages or hidden walls somewhere. We need to find those spots fast—Kojiro Kuroda, that slippery bastard, is definitely hiding inside. But we're running out of time. If the cops show up, we're screwed..." Ray Tang frowned.
"So... what do we do now?" Shawn Young was feeling the pressure too.
Just as the two were at a loss, a woman's voice came from outside the door: "Don't worry—I know where he is."
The two turned around and saw it was Luna Xiao.
"There's a secret passage on the twentieth floor of this building. You can take the elevator straight down to the basement, and there's a hidden exit from there. Kojiro Kuroda has already headed to the twentieth floor—we need to chase him, now!" Luna Xiao said.

With that, Ray Tang darted out, while Shawn Young and Luna Xiao rushed to the other stairwell. The building had two stairwells and an elevator system, but Ray Tang had already disabled the elevators, so both sides were fighting at the stairwells. Ray Tang was already attacking from the other side.
Shawn Young and Luna Xiao had barely made it down two floors from the top when they spotted more than a dozen elite Inagawa Syndicate killers locked in a brutal fight with Dragon Clear Brotherhood members trying to storm upward. Thanks to their higher ground, the syndicate's killers held the stairwell tightly. The Dragon Clear Brotherhood had tried charging several times but couldn't break through. Meanwhile, Shawn Young and Luna Xiao appeared behind the killers, who hadn't noticed them yet.

A few bursts of gunfire came up, and Shawn Young quickly ducked behind Luna Xiao, wrapped his arm around her slim waist, and pulled her to the edge of the stairs. Bullets sprayed like popcorn, sparks flying everywhere. Shawn Young shouted in Mandarin, "Dragon Clear Brotherhood, hold your fire! We're on your side!"
The Dragon Clear Brotherhood members below heard Shawn Young shouting in Mandarin and stopped firing, though they still kept their guns trained on the pair. Someone in the group immediately asked, "Who are you?"
Shawn Young popped out and said, "I'm a friend of Boss Tang. We're on the same side."
A man stepped out from the Dragon Clear Brotherhood crowd—it was Roy Luo. He instantly recognized Shawn Young, signaled for everyone to lower their guns, and grinned at him. "Heh, did you clear out those enemies upstairs, little bro?"
"Yeah, and we pretty much wiped out the ones on the top floor too," Shawn Young replied.
Roy Luo was thrilled. "Wow, you guys are something else! The top floor is the Inagawa Syndicate's Tokyo command center—heard it's supposed to be locked down tight!"
"Haha, actually, it wasn't me who took the top floor—it was Boss Tang. His Gun-Fu skills are just insane!" Shawn Young said, genuinely impressed.
"Heh, alright, Shawn, don't go flattering me. You're pretty skilled yourself!" Ray Tang's voice came from behind.
Shawn Young turned to look and saw Ray Tang leading a group of men surging down the stairs.
Ray Tang announced loudly, "Brothers! Here's some good news—the Dragon Clear Brotherhood has basically taken this building!"
"Oh!! Long live..." The Dragon Clear Brotherhood members cheered.
"Don't get too excited yet. The Tokyo police are probably on their way, and the Yamaguchi-gumi and other Japanese gangs might get involved too. Our mission now is to clear out any remaining enemies and then withdraw. Roy Luo, take your men and sweep each floor!" Ray Tang shouted.
