Impenetrable

Tyson Li’s robes fluttered as she moved. As the former Cult Master of the Cult of the Heavenly Demon, her temperament might be somewhat twisted, but her strength was absolutely top-tier. The moment she made a move, her overwhelming power was on full display.

Her figure drifted and darted, yet every step she landed was heavy as a mountain, blending weight and lightness in flawless harmony.

Tyson Li extended her hand, and space itself seemed to collapse inward toward her palm. All around, the air warped, with her palm as the center, revealing a dense web of filament-like patterns.

Each node in these filaments represented a star. Clusters of stars—some just a few, some dozens—formed constellations, and in total, three hundred sixty astral points wove together into a complete celestial net.

Grand Firmament Star‑Palm Art!

If you looked closely at the stars and constellations within her Grand Firmament Star‑Palm Art, you’d find each one contained a different vision. For example, the Ziwei Emperor Star’s inner structure was a heavenly palace, symbolizing imperial power.

The western White Tiger sector held seven lodges, each with over seven hundred stars, and fifty-four star lodges revealed visions like Kui Wood Wolf, Lou Metal Dog, Wei Earth Pheasant, each star representing a unique power.

After all, Tyson Li had once been Cult Master of the Cult of the Heavenly Demon, received the Woodcutter Sage’s teachings, and derived her own Grand Unification Art.

If not for her twisted nature, her talent alone would put her among the world’s very best. The Grand Firmament Star‑Palm Art was a peerless technique she created after fully mastering the Grand Fostering Heavenly Demon Sutra—a truly formidable skill.

She charged into the blast center, fighting side by side with Emperor Evan. Instantly, violent shockwaves erupted from the heart of the explosion, pounding outward and sending countless demons in the estate spitting blood as they scrambled to hide in the main hall, fleeing the impact.

On the mountainside, Quinn Shepherd, Lynn Ling, and the others stood behind rows of flood-dragons, each dragon blocking the aftershocks of supernatural attacks for them.

Quinn Shepherd rested his palm on the Worryless Sword, his pupils opening layer after layer of heavenly formations as he stared fixedly at the battle raging within the estate.

His fingers tapped rhythmically on the sword hilt, while Taiji, Eight Trigrams, and other rune symbols spun before and behind him—he was frantically calculating.

At the heart of the explosion, the painted world collapsed, leaving Emperor Evan and Tyson Li circling a drifting scroll as they attacked. Grandpa Blind’s black spear grew longer and stronger, quivering as he advanced, thrusting toward the painting.

Inside the scroll, disembodied arms and legs unleashed Aiden Starr’s fist-and-kick divine arts, meeting the three top experts head-on without falling behind.

Emperor Evan’s mana was overwhelmingly powerful—even though his cultivation hadn’t fully recovered, his strength was enough to dominate the world, even surpassing Tyson Li and Grandpa Blind. His techniques were open, grand, and domineering.

Tyson Li’s divine arts were even more refined; her Grand Unification Art, though not the true transmission, unified the Grand Fostering Heavenly Demon Sutra, allowing her to wield various techniques freely. Quinn could see in her methods a deeper level he himself hadn’t mastered.

That was the deeper, hidden divine arts contained within the Grand Fostering Heavenly Demon Sutra.

But these divine arts required combining various techniques from the Sutra—like Tyson Li’s Grand Firmament Star‑Palm Art, which fused more than three hundred divine arts into a single palm, its power truly terrifying.

“Cult Master Li truly is a prodigy of our sect—if only her mind hadn’t gone astray,” Quinn Shepherd exclaimed in genuine admiration.

Grandpa Blind’s prowess was already evident from his battle with the Dragon-Keeper Lord, but now his performance surpassed even that—his divine spear grew longer and more powerful, each strike executed with flawless precision.

His greatest strength lay in his ability to compensate for Tyson Li and Emperor Evan’s shortcomings, always striking to rescue them at the critical moment.

He was the perfect complement to Tyson Li and Emperor Evan, allowing both to fight without reservation, unconcerned for their own safety.

Even so, the three gradually found themselves unable to suppress Aiden Starr within the painting.

The painting drifted to and fro, the fist-and-kick divine arts within not only blocking their attacks but launching counterattacks.

Aiden Starr’s divine arts, mana, and physical strength were overwhelming, shaking the three until blood appeared at their lips, and the painting itself was torn open again and again.

He was on the verge of breaking free!

Quinn Shepherd frowned, seeing their disadvantage, and suddenly called out loudly, “Chief Ariel!”

Ariel Skyfeather shot forward like an arrow, her feet flying, twin fingers joined and stabbing toward the painting.

Swish—

Her speed was astonishing—her fingertips flashed with light as they stabbed into the painting like a sword of lightning.

Ariel struck home, but immediately felt an overwhelming force rebound from the painting, shaking her body and sending her stumbling backward.

Suddenly, Ariel’s wings spread wide as she hovered in the air, dozens of feather-scales vibrating rapidly. Rune patterns bloomed across her clothes, and beams of light shot from her scales into the painting.

A trace of blood appeared on the painted scroll; Emperor Evan and Tyson Li, spirits lifted, pressed their attack even harder.

Quinn Shepherd, tense, whispered to the girls behind him, “You should take this chance to hide in the main hall.”

Lynn Ling quickly led Crystal Blaze and the others downhill, ducking into a main hall for safety.

Quinn Shepherd frowned, calculations still running before and behind him, but gradually realized his intelligence was no longer enough to predict the elders’ chances of victory.

He shifted his stance, calculating his own optimal angle and odds if he intervened. Activating the Dragon-Controlling Mantra, several flood-dragons began to coil around him, lending him their power.

Quinn Shepherd’s aura surged; as each flood-dragon lent him strength, his body grew taller and stronger, dragon scales bursting forth to cover his skin.
