"Heh heh... Shawn, let me tell you, these days, if you want to break into showbiz, the hot chicks are wild as hell! No joke, I've got so many babes waiting to jump into bed with me, I could swap one out every single day. Especially those post-99 girls—they're totally fearless and crazy bold. If you want, I'll hook you up with a few, just for fun. A handsome guy like you, plus you're my buddy, Charles Morin—those hotties would line up to sleep with you! Heh heh—" Charles Morin laughed, full of swagger.

"Haha... It's not that exaggerated..." Just as Shawn Young was hesitating over how to reject Charles Morin's invitation, his phone suddenly rang. Shawn was secretly relieved and quickly pulled out his phone. To his surprise, it was Minnie Wang calling him again. As soon as he answered, Minnie Wang's excited voice came through: "Hee hee—guess who's calling you again!?"

"Hmm, I really didn't expect it. So, what is it this time?" Shawn Young asked with a smile.

"Hmph, nothing special. Can't I just call you? Do you hate me that much?" Minnie Wang pretended to be angry.

"Oh, no, that's not what I meant! I'm just flattered, that's all!" Shawn Young could imagine Minnie Wang's cute, sulky expression on the other end of the line. Just thinking about how this beautiful girl liked him so much made Shawn feel a rush of excitement.

"Hee hee—okay, so where are you now?" Minnie Wang suddenly asked.

"Oh, I'm downtown in Nanning City, handling some things—" Shawn Young replied.

"Oh—really? Well, I just sent you a surprise gift package, hee hee—" Minnie Wang giggled sweetly.

"A surprise gift package? What is it?" Shawn Young asked in surprise.

"Alright, I'll head back right now..." Shawn Young was more than happy to leave, so he agreed without hesitation.

"Heh heh... Shawn, is it a date with a beauty?" Charles Morin asked with a mischievous grin from the side.

"Haha... yeah, it's a female friend! She's really pretty, so Charles, you take my three brothers out to have some fun..." Shawn said directly.

"Oh, no problem, I get it—girls come first! Don't worry, your three brothers are my brothers too. I'll take good care of them—heh heh—" Charles Morin replied with a wicked smile.

"Alright, you guys have fun. I'm heading out..." Shawn Young waved to them and turned to leave from the other side of the parking lot.

"Vincent Wang, hurry up and book the best VIP suite at Golden Dragon V! And make sure you bring in the hottest, wildest girls for us. Me and the boys are gonna party hard tonight!" Charles Morin turned and called out to Vincent Wang.

"Uh... sure... but, Young Master Morin, the cops outside are about to come in..." Vincent Wang swallowed and replied nervously.

"Eh... just a few cops. Go do your thing, I'll handle them. Don't let them spoil my mood!" Charles Morin said coldly.

"Okay, I'll get right on it..." Vincent Wang hurried off, helped by a woman, and quickly went back into the Golden Dragon V to get busy. Meanwhile, the police outside had finished taking statements from the security guards, and under the lead of a slightly chubby officer, they began to walk into the parking lot.

As soon as the police officers entered the parking lot and saw the dozen flashy sports cars, they couldn't help but be shocked. The two young officers following the slightly chubby captain whispered, "Wow... these young guys must be loaded and powerful! Captain Zhang, should we check with our superiors?"

The slightly chubby police captain frowned, glanced at the wrecked BMW in the middle of the lot, then at Charles Morin, who looked utterly unimpressed and dismissive. Feeling frustrated, he asked Alex Easton and the others, "You three called the police saying there'd be a murder here—so what's going on now?"

"Uh... sorry, officer, it was a misunderstanding. We've made up now! We're friends!" Alex Easton quickly explained.

"Friends? Then what happened to that car?" Captain Victor Zhang pointed at the totaled BMW and questioned.

"Uh... I have no idea! When I brought you guys over, the car was already like that!" Alex Easton waved his hands, trying to explain.

"Kid... did you wreck that car?" Captain Victor Zhang was clearly annoyed by Charles Morin's arrogant attitude and asked bluntly.

"Hell no! Why would I waste my time trashing a junk car like that? Quit hassling me with this crap..." Charles Morin shot back, just as fed up with the captain's attitude.

"Damn! Punk, I suspect you of property damage and illegal gathering! You're coming with me to the station—I'm going to teach you a lesson..." Captain Victor Zhang, fired up by Charles Morin's disrespect, pulled out his handcuffs and moved to arrest him.

"What? You want to cuff me? Are you out of your mind? Do you even know who I am? One phone call and I could have you wiped out!" Charles Morin was incredulous. As a member of a powerful family, he was used to being treated like royalty—aside from his father Samuel Morin and Shangguan Feiyun, no one had ever dared speak to him like this.

"Oh, really? Well, I'm Captain Victor Zhang, and I'm not buying it! Now I'm charging you with threatening a police officer too! Kid, that's a serious offense! Heh heh... I don't care how deep your connections run—are you really more arrogant than the Blue Wolf Syndicate ever was? Eric Chen, Jason Zeng, grab him and take him to Chaoyang Police Station!" Captain Victor Zhang was determined to take Charles Morin down.

"Uh... Captain Zhang... isn't this a bit much?" Officer Jason Zeng whispered nervously.

"Follow orders!" Captain Victor Zhang shouted loudly.

"Yes, sir..." Officers Eric Chen and Jason Zeng immediately flanked Charles Morin on both sides.

"Damn it, you really want to play hardball with me? I'll call someone right now to take you out..." Charles Morin hadn't expected Captain Victor Zhang to be so ruthless—he was furious, immediately pulling out his phone to call for backup.

"Kid, I'm confiscating your phone—if you want to call someone, you can do it after spending a night in the station!" Captain Victor Zhang barked.

"Dream on! I'm calling right now to get someone to mess you up, you damn cop..." Charles Morin yelled, stubborn as ever.

Captain Victor Zhang finally lost his cool. He drew his sidearm, strode forward, grabbed Charles Morin by the collar, and pressed the gun to his forehead, snarling, "Go ahead, call for help! See if I don't blow your head off!"

"You... you wouldn't dare..." Charles Morin retorted stubbornly, but his bravado was fading fast. He'd never had a gun pointed at his head before, and with Captain Victor Zhang's furious expression, he was genuinely scared the cop might snap and kill him for real.

"Wouldn't I? Go on, make that call! See if I don't shoot you!" Captain Victor Zhang saw through Charles Morin's bluff and pressed his advantage, shouting at him.

"I... damn it... fine, I'll go... I'll just treat it like a vacation at the station..." Charles Morin, seeing Captain Victor Zhang's fierce look and thinking of his own precious life, finally gave in. He still held his phone, but didn't dare dial.

"Hmph, rookie... just a little pressure and you fold. You don't even have the guts of a street punk, and you think you can mess with me? You're way out of your league! Eric Chen, Jason Zeng, cuff him and take him away. And you three—since you called the cops, you're coming with me to the station for statements. Everyone else, clear out!" Captain Victor Zhang holstered his gun, swaggered as he gave orders, and led Charles Morin and Alex Easton out of the parking lot, leaving a bunch of stunned rich kids and confused security guards staring at each other.
