On the dimly lit street.

Hiss.

The middle-aged man slowly regained consciousness, sucked in a cold breath, touched the back of his head twice, pressed on the swollen area of his arm, and finally looked up at Andrew Han, who wore an apologetic expression.

"I've been waiting ten minutes for you to wake up," Andrew Han said with a low chuckle. "I'm really sorry, I got a little too impulsive just now."

Heh.

The middle-aged man let out two cold laughs, still sitting on the ground.

If apologies could solve everything, what use would there be for the law? What good would martial strength be? After being beaten so senselessly, his heart was filled with grief and indignation.

This isn't over.

Moreover...

Prove you're human? How exactly do you prove that? Show me how it's done!

"I'm truly sorry. If cursing at me makes you feel better, go ahead," Andrew Han said earnestly. "Admitting mistakes and correcting them has always been my moral standard, just as my Master often taught me."

Master?

The middle-aged man's eyes narrowed twice, a cold smile forming secretly.

So you're threatening me because you have a Master? Hmph, I have a Master too—he's a martial artist who founded a dojo in Riverdale.

Oh.

The middle-aged man braced himself against the ground, shook his head twice, and sneered, "Since you said so, I won't hold back. Take two punches from me, and we'll call it even."

Two punches?

Andrew Han blinked.

Absolutely not. That completely goes against the principles my Master taught me.

Even if you make a mistake, you shouldn't have to take a beating. At most, you should show leniency and kindness to the other party.
