Hive Shoals

Maya Mu and Zane Wu did not resist at all, allowing Joe Di to sweep them away. If there was any chance of escape, it would have to be Joe Di leading them.

Almost at the very instant Joe Di burst out of the Rat Swarm space, the place where they had just been was completely engulfed by the Rat Swarm.

Joe Di summoned a Skyship once again, placing the two on board, and the vessel sped away at maximum speed. Yet the overwhelming Rat Swarm followed, chasing after Joe Di's Skyship.

At this point, Joe Di was no longer afraid. Though the Rat Swarm was fast, it still shouldn't be able to catch up to his Skyship.

"Something still feels wrong," Maya Mu said, breaking out in a cold sweat.

Joe Di replied, "You're right, something is off. We were too careless. No matter how poor we are, we should have at least bought a Memory Stone with an introduction to the Lightless Sea."

Though he said this, Joe Di knew it would have been difficult for them. Buying a Memory Stone in Lightless Sea Divine City required Divine Crystals, and they didn't have even a single Divine Crystal on them. If they tried to exchange Immortal Crystals for Divine Crystals, Joe Di knew it was almost impossible.

Alternatively, they could use Supreme Immortal Spirit Veins to exchange for Divine Crystals, but Supreme Immortal Spirit Veins are rare even in the Immortal Realm. If you try to exchange them, first, you won't get much, and second, you'd immediately draw unwanted attention.

If a few nobodies tried exchanging Supreme Immortal Spirit Veins for Divine Crystals, anyone could see they weren't ordinary in the Immortal Realm. People like that definitely carry valuable items.

Joe Di wasn't afraid of being targeted, but he already had a few enemies. If even more people started eyeing them, how could they continue cultivating?
