After sending Elder Carl Cang flying with one sword, Marcus Ma charged at Ian Song with a vicious grin.

Three figures shot forward, joining forces to intercept Marcus Ma—they were Elder Shea, Darren Fang Easton, and Cole Chong Duan.

Elder Carl Cang glared hatefully at Marcus Ma. He'd been sent flying by a sword strike and suffered some minor injuries, so his resentment toward Marcus Ma had only grown.
"He doesn't have many days left anyway. Just lock him up for now," Ian Song said with a casual wave.
Soon, Marcus Ma was dragged away, but to guard against any more tricks, Elder Carl Cang volunteered to cripple his cultivation.
No one objected.
With Marcus Ma dealt with, Cole Chong Duan stepped forward and said, “Everyone, Pristine Way Sect is at a life-or-death crossroads. If the Sect Master’s seat stays vacant, our situation will only get worse. So I propose that Leon be enthroned as Sect Master today!”
“At a time like this, we must unite as one to overcome hardship! I also agree that Leon should be enthroned immediately!” Elder Shea declared, full of righteous energy.
“I have no objections either!” Elder Carl Cang chimed in.
Since it had already been decided that Ian Song would be the next Sect Master, whether the enthronement was today or tomorrow didn’t matter. Besides, Pristine Way Sect really did need a leader right now.
So, everyone unanimously approved the proposal for Ian Song to be enthroned right away.
Still, enthroning the Sect Master was a major event. After some discussion, they agreed to announce Ian Song’s enthronement to the whole sect today, and hold the formal ceremony tomorrow.
News that Ian Song would be enthroned as Sect Master the next day quickly spread throughout Pristine Way Sect.
