Early in the morning, Monkey arrived at the dining hall. On one hand, this was his daily routine; on the other, today he was heading to the Eastern Sea Dragon Palace and had no idea how long he’d be delayed. Given the current situation, it was best to go early and return early. Otherwise, if General Lee got wind of it and started taking measures against Blossom Mountain while Monkey was away, the risk would be enormous.
The meal had already been served, but Monkey waited a long time without seeing Anna Yang appear.
If Monkey overslept, that would be possible, but for Anna Yang to oversleep—that was simply unthinkable.
After waiting for ages and still not seeing her, Monkey had no choice but to send someone to urge her to come.
Soon, the little demon sent to urge her returned, looking somewhat puzzled.
"Reporting to Your Majesty, Sister Anna said... she said, could you go another day instead?"
"Another day?" Monkey was taken aback.
How could she change something they’d agreed on just last night? Women were known for being fickle, but this wasn’t Anna Yang’s style at all.
"Did she give a reason?" Monkey asked.
The little demon shook his head. "No, but from her voice... it sounded like she wasn’t feeling well."
Monkey’s brows furrowed. "Did you actually see her?"
"Sister Anna’s door was closed. She wouldn’t let me in, so I had to speak through the door."
Hearing this, Monkey immediately stood up and strode quickly toward Anna Yang’s room.
Just as he reached Anna’s door, he happened to see Little Fox Su carrying a box, looking rather flustered.
"Brother Monkey."
Monkey glanced at the medicine box in her hands and asked calmly, "What happened?"
"Master asked me to fetch her medicine."
"Medicine?"
Monkey could sense that Anna Yang’s spiritual power inside the room was extremely chaotic and weak.
Reaching out to knock on the door, Monkey called loudly, "What’s wrong? Open the door."
