Heavenly Dragon Thunder Soul Incantation Annihilates the Bandits
------------
Three armed bandits appeared outside the woods, standing close to the trees. The three had just vaguely heard Mason's miserable howls coming from inside and, feeling curious, decided to come over and see what was going on.
But as they reached the edge of the woods, they hesitated, nervous and unsure. One of them whispered anxiously, "If we go in and there's nothing wrong, and we end up interrupting Mason's fun, won't he get mad at us?!"
"Uh—yeah, if Mason gets angry, we'll be in deep trouble—I think we better not go in." Another guy shivered at the thought of Mason's perversion and cruelty.
"But—that scream just now really sounded like Mason, didn't it? What if something happened to him—what are we supposed to do?" The third guy was a bit more rational.
"Uh—well, you know how Mason always makes those crazy howling noises when he's with women! I say we head back! If we mess up his mood, he might just kill us—" The guy next to him insisted, clearly traumatized by Mason's brutality.
The other two exchanged glances, thought for a moment, and then nodded together: "Uh—alright! Let's head back—"
Just as they turned to leave, a cold male voice suddenly rang out behind them: "Heh heh—since you're all here, you might as well leave your lives and hit the road together!"
"Uh—" All three were startled, spinning around to see a flash of cold steel slicing through the air, radiating murderous intent—"Pfft—pfft—pfft—" With three muffled sounds, each felt a sharp pain in their throat, as salty blood filled their mouths and sprayed out.
"Gurgle—hiss—hiss—" The strength holding their bodies up drained away with the blood gushing from their throats. Almost simultaneously, they collapsed, clutching their necks, trying to stop the bleeding, but it was useless. Blood kept seeping through their fingers as their bodies convulsed and spasmed. After only a few seconds of struggle, the light faded from their eyes, their legs kicked feebly, and they died!
After taking out those three guys, Shawn Young flicked the blood off his Raikiri Dagger and didn't stop—he dashed straight for the valley entrance. In less than two minutes, the group of armed bandits and a dozen hostages appeared before his eyes. Because Shawn showed up so suddenly, nobody outside the valley noticed him at first.
Shawn looked over and saw the armed bandits standing with their weapons, surrounding the hostages. The hostages were squatting on the ground, holding their heads, faces full of confusion and fear. This was just what Shawn wanted—he'd been worried he might accidentally hurt a hostage if things got chaotic.
With a single stride forward, Shawn quickly channeled his Clear Sky Order inner energy, then tossed his Raikiri Dagger into the air. Forming the Primordial Seal with his hands, he chanted rapidly: "Ninefold Harmony, Primordial Golden Light, Heaven's Might, Mystic Blade Breaker, Dragon and Serpent of Heaven and Earth, summon the Heavenly Dragon, grant me Thunder Soul—By the decree—Release!"
As Shawn finished the incantation, his hands turned over—"Whoosh—" a dazzling blue glow surged from his hands, forming a ball of crackling lightning that instantly wrapped around the Raikiri Dagger floating in midair.
"Whoosh—slash—" In an instant, the Raikiri Dagger transformed into a fierce, unstoppable arc of cold light, surging with wild thunder and storm energy. It tore through the air, sweeping toward the dozens of armed bandits with unmatched speed.
"Thud—thud—thud—thud—" The dazzling blue lightning whipped through like a dragon or serpent, leaving a trail of blood blooming at each bandit's throat.
"Ugh—ugh—ugh—" In a split second, nearly all the bandits collapsed, clutching their bleeding throats and convulsing. Within seconds, just like the three before them, their eyes bulged, legs kicked wildly, bodies stiffened, and they all went to meet King Yama!
"Whew—all done!" Shawn withdrew his power, and the blue glow of the Raikiri Dagger faded—"Swish"—it dropped back into his hand. The move he'd just unleashed was the Clear Sky Order's most powerful and wide-ranging attack: the Heavenly Dragon Thunder Soul Incantation. Totally badass.
Not bothering with the hostages, Shawn put away his Raikiri Dagger, pulled out the signal gun from his waist, and strode to a nearby open high ground. He aimed the gun skyward and pulled the trigger—"Bang—" A dazzling red signal flare shot up into the sky.
On the rooftop of the Dongping River Hydropower Station, Max and another mercenary had been waiting with sniper rifles locked on their targets. As soon as they saw the signal flare, they knew it was time to act. Both pulled the trigger almost at once—"Bang—bang—" With two crisp shots, the heads of the two bandits at the Eastpeace River Bridge exploded like ripe watermelons, and their bodies crumpled to the ground, heading off to report to King Yama.
"K—Nice work, buddy! Heh heh—let's go back up the boss!" Max gave the mercenary a thumbs-up, then both rushed downstairs, leading hundreds of men toward the Eastpeace River Bridge.
