Adrian's hair was a bit messy, and his breathing was heavy, as if—he had just been running.
What happened?
"To get some news about Cecilia Gu for you, I almost got caught by Charles Yin." Adrian said bluntly, "But I still managed to find out."
Molly Yun's eyes flickered, instantly brightening: "How is Cici? How is everyone else? Does my family know? Are they all okay?"
Adrian gave a bitter smile: "You sure care about them, but don't even ask how I managed to escape from Charles Yin?"
Molly Yun paused for a moment and said, "You have plenty of skills. If you're sitting here in front of me, obviously you beat Charles Yin. Since you've already won, what else is there to ask?"
Adrian chuckled softly, "You really are cold-blooded! Fine, I won't make it hard for you. I made this trip just to tell you."
Molly Yun sat up straight and looked at Adrian.
"Cecilia Gu is fine, not a single problem. I know you worry about your sister, so I checked on her first. But your husband, Eric Jiang, doesn't seem to be doing well. Charles Yin has been with him almost all the time." Adrian's lips curled into a playful smile. "So lately, Cici has actually spent more time with Max Mo. Even Charles Yin allowed it—tsk tsk, your family is really complicated!"
"That's because Charles Yin knows that Cici would never betray him." Molly Yun couldn't stand anyone smearing Cici's name. "Cici has always been sensible, and when it comes to Max Mo, she knows better than anyone. After all these years, if she was going to change her heart, she would've done it before Yina was born—why wait until now? Charles Yin trusts Cici, and Cici trusts herself! Besides, I know Max Mo very well. Even though he likes Cici, he's not someone who crosses the line. He's a true gentleman, not a despicable person!"
