Blood Wraith

Quentin Hua was certain—underestimating Morgan Shangguan would be the madman’s greatest mistake!

Morgan Shangguan was silent for a moment, then suddenly asked, "Who is the Grand Preceptor?"

At the mention of the Grand Preceptor, the smile faded from Quentin Hua’s face. He sighed, "He is the madman’s son. He used to be a very kind person, but after waking up this time, he’s no longer the same."

Quentin Hua wasn’t clear about the events that happened too early. Although he was controlled by Blood Wraith, for some reason, Blood Wraith—despite his arrogance—always remained wary of him. So, there was much Quentin didn’t know, nor could he understand the feud between Blood Wraith and the Simon Family, or why Blood Wraith’s son remained in a coma.

When he first met Mason Ma, Mason had already been asleep for forty years. But because his life was sustained by medicine, even after forty years of coma, he had only grown from eight to about ten years old.

Back then, when Quentin Hua was first controlled by Blood Wraith’s Blood Gu, he was in agony. Mason Ma was his only friend, and Mason’s kindness always gave him hope, even though Quentin knew he’d long since strayed from the path of goodness.

But the good times didn’t last. Mason Ma fell back into a coma not long after they became friends. However, it was said that this time was different from before—the situation was much better, and at least Mason could grow up normally.

Yet after ten years in a coma, Quentin Hua traded his own life for Mason’s health, only to discover when Mason awoke that he was no longer the same person!

Quentin Hua couldn’t describe his feelings. Should he rejoice that Mason Ma had finally escaped the madman, or mourn that despite giving everything, he could never bring back that kind soul?

Although he couldn’t save Mason Ma, Quentin Hua was blessed amid disaster—not only did he survive, but he also rid himself of that cursed thing!
