Under the Night Sky

2/14/2026

Lucy Bai moved forward, and in her sight, steel-framed helicopters sliced through the night sky.

Outside the airport, everyone who was about to leave looked up at the sky.

The roar of the helicopter rotors thundered in everyone's ears.

"Helicopters."

"Fully armed ones."

"Looks like the Li family is really furious this time!"

Seeing those helicopters soaring upward, everyone’s expression changed.

"Master Lin from Seacrest really went too far this time!"

Inside the hotel, standing outside on the rooftop, the people next to Serena Tong were stunned as they saw five helicopters coming from the sky.

There are only a handful of people in all of Hong Kong who can mobilize helicopters like this.

No doubt about it.

This is the Li family patriarch giving the order.

Helicopters...

Queenie Tong looked worried, gazing at Evan Lin’s figure seated cross-legged on the seven-colored rainbow bridge.

He’ll be okay, right?

Usually, Queenie Tong had full confidence in Evan Lin.

But this time was different.

Fully armed helicopters—those are modern war machines. They’re on a whole different level from the enemies he’s faced before.

They’re the fusion of machinery, steel, technology, and firepower.

No matter how strong Evan Lin is, he’s still just one person.

This is way more cinematic than any movie I've ever shot.

So what if he can do all that?

Lily Tan stood off to the side, glaring at the youth high above. Seeing the helicopters slice through the sky, she gritted her teeth: "No matter how badass a martial arts master is, he's still just one guy!"

If he's just a person, there's no way he can take on those helicopters.

Right now, Lily Tan couldn't stand Evan Lin one bit.

If it weren't for this so-called 'Master Lin from Seacrest' being so ridiculously powerful, Lily would've roasted him ages ago.

But she never found the right moment—now, finally, she couldn't hold back anymore.

She was itching to crush this kid's reputation in front of everyone.

He's totally overestimating himself. What, does he think he can take down a helicopter with his bare hands?

Kevin Zhou wore a sneer, looking up at the sky, but deep down he was actually excited.

He couldn't wait for the helicopters to show up and just shred this 'Master Lin from Seacrest' with their steel rotors.

Or maybe, he'd finally get to see Evan Lin kneeling and begging for mercy—what a sight that would be.

Either way, just thinking about it got Kevin Zhou hyped.

"The helicopters are here!"

Someone suddenly shouted, snapping everyone to attention.

All eyes locked on the sky above.

"Listen up, you up there! You've got three minutes to let the Li family's Third Young Master go, or else we'll show you no mercy!"

Five helicopters hovered in the air, coming in from five different directions.

Each helicopter aimed straight at Evan Lin, their giant xenon searchlights blazing, cutting through the darkness.

Five beams locked onto the youth seated in midair, bathing him in blinding light.

Dust motes swirled and scattered in the flood of light.

From where everyone stood, Evan Lin was glowing—bathed in pure light.

He sat right at the intersection of all five beams, eyes closed, his bangs fluttering in the wild wind whipped up by the steel rotors.

"They're here, they're here!"

Chained up, Liam Li was jolted awake by the roar of the helicopters and the blast of wind.

He strained to look up, spotting the hulking steel monsters looming overhead, their shadows huge in the night sky. His face lit up with excitement.

"Those are Li family helicopters!"

"Grandpa's pissed off!"

"You're toast, kid! Totally toast!"

Liam Li howled, but as soon as he opened his mouth, the wind blasted down his throat, making him cough uncontrollably.
