Decent Harvest

Evan Chu faced off against the boss—the leader—of the Mystic Ice Giants right from the start. He unleashed an Earthsplitter slash, but it didn’t kill the giant; it only made its massive body sway a few times. Its defense was absolutely insane.

The Mystic Ice Giant was shocked that this 'puny human' could actually block its axe. It roared in a strange tongue, and then the whole horde of ice giants behind it answered, their voices booming out in a wild show of force.

This leader’s raw strength was about Sixth Layer Saint Martial Realm, but thanks to its ultra-tough Mystic Ice body, its defense pushed its overall power close to Seventh Layer Saint Martial.

Evan Chu didn’t even care about that kind of power, and he looked down on the rest of the Mystic Ice Giants even more. Honestly, he could just stand there and let them hack away with their ice axes—his Starforge Body, Sixth Layer, was so tough that these trash mobs couldn’t even scratch him.

But now wasn’t the time to go on a killing spree. Everybody was still mid-air, halfway up the mountain. If he started slaughtering giants now, their bodies—and all the Phantasite they dropped—would just tumble down the slopes. Way too much hassle to collect. He had to lure them up to the summit first.

So Evan swung his Frostbane Sword at the giant leader again. He knew this hit wouldn’t hurt it either, but it would definitely piss the thing off. Then, in a flash, he darted dozens of meters away, slowly flying toward the mountaintop.

That Mystic Ice Giant got knocked back a few meters, crashing into some of its own kind behind it. Furious, it let out a wild scream and charged after Evan, moving so fast that even he was a little surprised.

Honestly, this giant’s flight speed was at least as fast as Roxanne Lin’s. In the blink of an eye, it closed the distance and was right in front of Evan, with a whole pack of Mystic Ice Giants flying up behind it.

Evan Chu landed on the summit fast. Up here, he could finally cut loose and go wild. Just thinking about all the Phantasite scattered around made his heart race with excitement. He gripped the Frostbane Sword tight and grinned. “It’s been ages since I’ve had a proper massacre—let’s go crazy today!”

By now, the Mystic Ice Giants had almost all reached the mountaintop—three or four hundred of them, packed together, big and small. The little ones weren’t really giants at all, more like 'Mystic Ice people,' since they were about human-sized. Evan guessed they must’ve been newborns.
