God of Gambling

From one hundred thousand to thirty-two million, Ian Song didn't even need ten minutes.

"Please place your bets," the beautiful dealer called out again, but her voice was trembling a little. As she spoke, she deliberately shot a glance at Ian Song.

"Small!"

Ian Song shoved all thirty-two million onto 'small.'

In an instant, the other gamblers all followed suit, betting on 'small,' except for Han Dayuan, who stubbornly threw a thousand yuan on 'big' with a cold look.

Ian Song put thirty-two million on the line, the other gamblers together tossed in about one million, while Han Dayuan's measly thousand barely counted. If 'small' came up, the casino would have to pay out thirty-three million.

Thinking about that, the dealer couldn't keep her cool anymore. Her expression kept shifting as she stood there, refusing to open the dice cup.

"Open it!"

"Damn it, hurry up and open the dice!"

Seeing this, the gamblers started cursing and shouting, urging her to hurry up.

With all the gamblers yelling, the beautiful dealer finally reached out with a trembling hand and lifted the dice cup.

"One, two, two—small!"

Seeing it really was 'small,' the dealer just froze, totally stunned.

"Haha, I won again! I won again!"

"Damn, I only bet three hundred thousand this round. If I'd known, I would've gone all in!"

"Dealer, stop spacing out—pay up!"

"Yeah! Hurry up and pay us!"

Just then, a middle-aged man with a neat side-part and a big smile walked up to the dealer's spot. He was the casino manager, Frank Yuan.

Frank Yuan faced the crowd and called out, "Ladies and gentlemen, it looks like there's a problem with this table. We're going to do a quick inspection, so please move to another table and keep on playing."

One gambler grumbled, "What the hell? There's never a problem when we lose, but now that we're winning you suddenly want to shut it down for repairs?"

Another gambler chimed in, "Yeah! We want to bet right here, we're not switching tables!"

Frank Yuan just kept smiling. "Please, folks, just move to another table for me. Don't worry, we'll honor all your chips from this round, I promise!"

The gamblers all grumbled, worried the casino might not honor their winnings. But since Frank promised to pay out, they just complained a little and left with their chips.

Ian Song's chip stack now hit sixty-four million.

Seeing all those chips, Han Dayuan's eyes burned with greed. He sidled up and asked, "Hey kid, what's your name? Are you Hannah's boyfriend?"

"Hello, Uncle Han. I'm Ian Song. Hannah and I are just friends, not a couple," Ian said with a friendly smile.

When Han Dayuan heard Ian wasn't dating his daughter, he was a little disappointed. After all, Ian had over sixty million in chips—if he could just get a million or two, that'd be a huge win.

Hannah Han felt awkward and embarrassed, shooting her dad a glare. "Dad, let's just go home!" she urged.

Han Dayuan snapped, "Go home? Are you kidding? Your friend here is on a hot streak! If he wins a few more million, maybe he'll give us a cut. Right, kid?"

"If you promise never to gamble again, I could give you a few million," Ian Song said seriously.

"Haha, that's awesome! Let's hurry up before the luck runs out!" Han Dayuan was thrilled and dragged Ian to another table, while Hannah stomped her foot in anger—her dad was so shameless, actually asking Ian for money.

Third-floor surveillance room.

Leon Liang's face was dark as he watched the monitors. He hadn't expected Ian Song to win sixty-four million—all of the day's profits gone in a flash.

"Did you see anything? Is that kid cheating?" Leon snapped.

The technician shook his head. "No, Leon. The kid hasn't done anything suspicious. I don't think he's cheating."

"Damn it, is that kid just stupidly lucky or what?" Hugo Huang grumbled, unwilling to accept it.

"Keep a close eye on him. If he cheats, grab him immediately. If not, find an excuse to take him to the VIP room!" Leon Liang ordered coldly.

...

Back in the casino hall, Ian Song and Han Dayuan arrived at another table.

This dealer was a sharp-dressed man in his thirties, hair perfectly styled and radiating confidence. He clearly wasn't your average dealer—this was Feng Zhou, the casino's top gambling expert from Hong Kong.

"Place your bets!"

Most of the gamblers at this table were from the last one, so they all waited for Ian Song to place his bet first.

Ian Song smiled and tossed all sixty-four million onto 'big.'

The gamblers who'd been waiting quickly followed suit, throwing their chips onto 'big' and betting heavy. The total for 'big' hit over seventy-five million.

But Feng Zhou didn't even flinch.

"Bets are closed!"

As soon as he spoke, his hand landed on the dice cup. With a subtle tap of his pinky, Feng Zhou secretly switched the dice inside from a 5-5-3 to a 1-1-3.

"Hmph!"

Ian Song snorted inwardly, flicking out two threads of true essence to flip both 'one' dice into sixes.

"Open!"

Feng Zhou lifted the cup, and when he saw 6-6-3, his face changed instantly. He'd clearly used his skill to make it 1-1-3, so how did it turn into 6-6-3?

"Haha, you did it again! You're a gambling god!" one gambler cheered.

"This time I went big—put a million down! I'm rolling in it!" another gambler shouted.

Everyone who followed Ian Song's bet burst out laughing, celebrating their wins. Han Dayuan had put five thousand on 'big,' so he pocketed a small profit—but seeing Ian win sixty-four million made him feel pretty sour.

Off to the side, Hannah Han was stunned by how fast Ian Song was raking in cash.

In just over ten minutes, he'd made more than 120 million. Hannah's monthly salary was only about five thousand—sixty thousand a year, six hundred thousand in ten years, six million in a hundred, sixty million in a thousand. Basically, Ian made enough in ten minutes to cover two thousand years of her hard work.

"What happened? How did Feng Zhou let that kid win?" Leon Liang complained, glaring at Frank Yuan in the surveillance room.

Feng Zhou's full name was Zhou Feng, the gambling master Frank Yuan brought in from Hong Kong to run the tables.

Frank Yuan hesitated. "Maybe Feng just wanted to let the kid taste a little sweetness first."

"Place your bets!"

Even after that slip-up, Feng Zhou stayed confident, smiling as he urged everyone to bet.

Snap!

Ian Song pushed his entire stack—one hundred and twenty-eight million—onto 'small.'

The other gamblers, of course, all followed his lead.

"No more bets—open!"

Feng Zhou lifted the cup, and his face instantly went pale. He was sure he'd set it to 'big,' but now it was 'small.'

This round, the bets totaled a whopping one hundred and fifty million—every gambler at the table had followed Ian Song with heavy wagers.

In the surveillance room, Leon Liang's face was practically purple with rage. He said coldly to Hugo Huang, "Hugo, go invite that kid to the VIP room!"
