Annihilation of the Bay Family Elders

12/19/2025

Kurt Bay didn’t need Eugene Bay’s warning—he had already sensed something was wrong. At the same time, he realized Joe Di was far from an ordinary Dao Integration cultivator; his strength was on par with theirs. To be on par with them meant, clearly, that Joe Di had stepped into the Third Step.

Kurt Bay summoned his Taikun Rod and charged madly at Joe Di. But this plaza was part of Joe Di’s Guardian Array, not just some temporary trapping array formed by a few banners. As soon as Joe Di activated the plaza’s Slaughter Array, all four Five Direction Banners came into play at once.

Kurt Bay’s Taikun Rod slammed into Joe Di’s Guardian Array, but all it did was make the array tremble again. Now, not only could he not support Eugene Bay, he couldn’t even tear open Joe Di’s trapping array and escape.

If Kurt Bay couldn’t do it, Ethan Bay and Paul Bay stood no chance at all.

Eugene Bay stared blankly at the crushing Genesis Opening Incantation, his body growing cold as if the entire universe were crashing down on his head. He finally understood why the Bay Family’s old ancestor forbade them from leaving. The Bay bloodline harbored a kind of madness—once they suffered a setback, they would stop at nothing for revenge. Now the old ancestor had fallen, and James Bay had become the family head.

James Bay was anything but gentle; he had long plotted to leave the Bay of Legends and enter the Five Elements World again. His ambition was not merely to carve out a place for the Bay Family, but to rule over the Five Elements World.

By rights, James Bay waiting until after the second Creation War to make his move showed remarkable restraint. But he could never have imagined that the Five Elements Universe was still teeming with powerful cultivators—especially someone as terrifying as Joe Di.

Crack! The death Dao resonance of the Genesis Opening Incantation crushed down, erasing Eugene Bay’s domain. At the same time, his bones began to shatter.

At that moment, Joe Di’s Tian-Sa Blade locked onto his Dao resonance, cleaving down from Eugene Bay’s brow. Eugene Bay felt a chill in his heart—how could a Third Step cultivator like himself be so helpless before Joe Di?

Suddenly, he remembered something the old ancestor said long ago: All Third Step cultivators of the Bay Family are nurtured in a hothouse. Without experiencing the cleansing of the Five Elements Universe, they cannot truly clash with others.

Spurt! Eugene Bay could even hear the sound of his brow shattering, and the rush of blood spraying outward.

"Stop, Fellow Daoist Di, this might all be a misunderstanding..." Eugene Bay screamed in desperation. He had only one thought: to hurry back and warn the Bay Family’s experts. No matter how many Third Step cultivators the Bay Family had, they weren’t qualified to rule the Five Elements Universe. The Bay Family must remain in the Bay of Legends—they absolutely could not come out.

Joe Di’s eyes were full of mockery. After bombarding his Taiji Realm for over a century, now Eugene Bay expected him to just stop? If not for the four Five Direction Banners in Taiji Realm, it would have been shattered long ago.

"You can’t kill me! Barry Jack brought his fate upon himself, but I am an elder of the Bay Family. If you kill me, you’ll make mortal enemies with the Bay of Legends..." Eugene Bay shouted wildly.

He wasn’t worried for his own life, but truly understood: if Joe Di killed him, the Bay of Legends and Joe Di would be locked in a blood feud. He feared for the Bay of Legends—no matter how many experts they had, they might not withstand someone like Joe Di slaughtering them at will.

Joe Di sneered, "Is the Bay of Legends really so impressive? I don’t buy it. Once I finish off you four mutts, I’ll pay the Bay of Legends a visit myself. I’ll smash their Guardian Array too—let’s see how many experts they have who can even touch a hair on my head."

Crack! Spurt!

Eugene Bay’s skull split open. The sound of blood mist spraying filled the air. Eugene Bay closed his eyes in despair, his thoughts growing muddled, yet his heart was clear as a mirror: the Bay of Legends was finished. The Bay Family was finished.

Back when they refined the Primeval Realm, the Bay Family’s old ancestor felt they had gone too far. But at the time, no one interfered with the Bay Family—or perhaps the Primeval Realm hadn’t produced any powerful cultivators to seek revenge. Today, the Bay Family had finally provoked a true powerhouse.

After slaying Eugene Bay, Joe Di immediately opened the trapping and slaughter array that had confined Paul Bay and Ethan Bay. Upon seeing Joe Di, they frantically unleashed their treasures and charged at him.

Facing two mere Dao Integration cultivators, Joe Di threw a single punch. Two mountain-like peaks of fist force split apart and crashed forward. Paul Bay and Ethan Bay’s treasures blocked the fist peaks, but Joe Di’s Tian-Sa Blade had already swept up two curtains of blade light.

They knew exactly what they should do, but Paul Bay and Ethan Bay simply couldn’t break free from the Dao resonance shackles of Joe Di’s fist peak divine art.

Spurt, spurt! Two arrows of blood shot out. Compared to slaying Eugene Bay, killing the two still trapped by the fist peaks cost Joe Di almost no effort.

Ethan Bay had been thrilled when attacking the Taiji Realm’s Guardian Array, but against Joe Di’s Tian-Sa Blade, he had no power to resist. And besides the fist peaks, he was still trapped in Joe Di’s slaughter array.

"My Bay Family has lost." Seeing Eugene Bay, Paul Bay, and Ethan Bay killed before his eyes, Kurt Bay simply stopped wielding his Taikun Rod. His strength was even less than Eugene Bay’s, and Eugene Bay hadn’t lasted long against Joe Di. Kurt Bay was nothing in comparison.

"The Bay Family has killed quite a few people over the years, haven’t they?" Joe Di mocked, staring at Kurt Bay.

Kurt Bay shook his head. "My Bay Family has always cultivated quietly in the Bay of Legends, never venturing out. If not for Barry Jack’s incident, we still wouldn’t have come out."

Joe Di chuckled. "Never venturing out, yet you could destroy an entire Primeval Realm. Forget the living beings—just the cultivators and mortals in the Primeval Realm must number in the tens of billions. And your Bay Family could still bear to do it? Truly ruthless. I really don’t understand why the universe allows your Bay Family to exist to this day." Joe Di shook his head, genuinely puzzled.

Is there truly no real powerhouse in the Five Elements Universe? The Bay Family could refine a top-tier realm like the Primeval Realm, and no one stepped forward to stop them. Or are all the cultivators in the universe so cold-blooded?

"So you mean you won’t spare my Bay Family?" Kurt Bay stared at Joe Di. If Joe Di said he wouldn’t, Kurt Bay would immediately self-destruct.

Joe Di sensed the Dao resonance around Kurt Bay growing abnormal. Without hesitation, he summoned the Creation Brush and wrote a massive character for ‘Law’ in the air.

In that instant, the Dao resonance around Kurt Bay was suppressed by Joe Di’s ‘Law’ character. Kurt Bay knew immediately that Joe Di wouldn’t spare the Bay Family. He didn’t even think of fighting, but frantically tore apart his own Dao resonance.

The space around them turned chaotic, as if the universe itself was about to explode. Joe Di kept urging his divine essence and spiritual will, and the Dao resonance of the ‘Law’ character in the void grew clearer and clearer, rumbling with power.

Boom! Violent divine essence exploded. The ‘Law’ character written by Joe Di’s Creation Brush was blasted apart, and Joe Di was sent flying dozens of feet by the backlash.

The Guardian Array shook again, nearly torn open.

Fortunately, this entire place was under his control, with array banners everywhere—and the four Five Direction Banners locking the area down. The self-destruction of a Third Step cultivator left Joe Di a bit battered, but unharmed.

When everything settled, Joe Di let out a sigh of relief.

It was lucky that Eugene Bay hadn’t managed to self-destruct earlier. If every Third Step cultivator exploded in front of him, he might actually get hurt.

Both Eugene Bay and Kurt Bay were Third Step cultivators who had opened their own worlds, so Joe Di could gain little from them. But he didn’t hesitate to collect the rings of Ethan Bay and Paul Bay.

If Joe Di weren’t in a hurry to reach the Starblade Sect, he’d take out Barry Jack’s ring and examine it now. Was it really a True Spirit World refined from the Primeval Realm? To refine an entire realm into a True Spirit World—this Bay Family was truly ruthless.
