"Where's John?" someone asked, as if everything that just happened was a dream.
"He's everywhere."
Master Lin's reply sent chills down his spine.
"Don't let your guard down! This Master Lin from Seacrest isn't as simple as he looks!"
Henderson snapped back to attention. When he looked at Master Lin again, his gaze was icy. "No matter what, since you've provoked the Blood Clan, tonight you'll die right here."
"Just now, John didn't even get to show his true form before you took him out. No wonder even a silver-grade like Roderic Locke ended up losing to you."
Henderson's eyes flickered, uncertain.
The sudden burst of fire was downright bizarre.
"Don't waste words with him. Make it quick."
The leader stepped forward. The four beside him shrugged off their black robes, letting them drop to the ground. Their revealed figures looked thin and sickly, with skin so pale it was almost unhealthy.
"Blood Moon, rise again."
With a soft chant, the red glow in their eyes blazed even brighter.
All five—including Henderson—lunged at Master Lin in an instant.
Their hands flashed with streaks of blood-red light.
The blood-red light surged like a sea, packed with terrifying power, crashing down toward where Master Lin stood.
Master Lin twisted aside, letting the blood-light slam into the ground, instantly cracking it wide open.
"Don't give him a chance—attack together!"
Henderson shouted, his figure moving like lightning. He closed in on Master Lin, his five fingers forming claws, their tips sharp as knives, glowing with blood-light as he slashed at Master Lin's throat.
Master Lin punched out, fist meeting claw with a heavy boom, sending Henderson flying with a single blow.
The other four had already closed in, launching attacks from all four directions.
Blood-light splattered, red sparks flying everywhere.
Master Lin's expression was icy. He didn't bother with any tricks—no spiritual qi, just pure fists raining down on them.
Every punch was wrapped in flame, and his savage fists smashed two vampires' claws outright.
Henderson and the others grew more and more shaken with every exchange.
Is this kid even human?!
The Blood Clan aren't known for their physique, but this squad was all golden-grade elites—way tougher than ordinary vampires.
Yet Master Lin from Seacrest was blocking their attacks head-on, just with his fists!
Humiliation.
Absolute humiliation.
Six golden-grade Blood Clan elites—one got insta-killed right away, and the other five, looking at Master Lin, realized they had no answer for him!
Bang! Bang! Bang!
Master Lin unleashed three more punches, smashing one vampire's chest, breaking all his ribs and collapsing his entire sternum!
How much force did that take?!
Henderson and the others felt their scalps tingling.
Before coming, they'd only heard that Master Lin from Seacrest had taken out Roderic Locke.
But Roderic Locke wasn't even that strong—just a silver-grade.
So nobody thought Master Lin from Seacrest would be anything special.
Now, every single one of them had completely changed their minds.
The youth in front of them had totally shattered their worldview.
Whenever they'd fought so-called Eastern powerhouses before, those guys always relied on projected internal force.
No one ever dared get into close combat with the Blood Clan!
Even Pointing-to-Mystery experts, wrapped in internal force, could barely block their fangs.
But this kid was brawling with them head-on, not scared at all!
"This guy's a total freak. You can't even bite him—try, and you just get a mouthful of fire."
The lead vampire's eyes turned cold.
John was a lesson they wouldn't forget.
He'd tried to pierce the kid's fist with his fangs, but that brutal punch almost shattered his teeth.
"Is this really all you've got? You dare come here to mess with me?"
Master Lin sounded a little disappointed.
He'd kept Henderson alive this long, expecting they'd send someone impressive.
Turns out, they're just as useless as ever.
If the Holy Lord doesn't show up, Master Lin can't even muster any interest in fighting.
"Remember what you just said!"
One of them, furious, stepped back and helped the vampire with the shattered ribs out of the fight.
The Blood Moon Gem shimmered, casting a bloody light over him.
A moment later, the badly injured vampire stood up, fully healed—and looking even fiercer than before.
"That thing can heal injuries too?" Master Lin was a bit surprised, glancing at the Blood Moon Gem overhead.
"You people from the East could never understand the magic of the Blood Moon Gem!"
"Under the Blood Moon Gem, we are immortal!"
A cold voice echoed in Master Lin's ears.
A chilling streak of blood-light shot through the air. Master Lin instinctively punched out, flames bursting from his fist as it smashed into the blood-light.
A shockwave rang out, and a skinny figure was blasted from the shadows overhead.
"You're not dead?"
Master Lin glanced at him, eyebrows slightly furrowed.
It was John—the one Master Lin had already burned to ashes.
Yet here he was, appearing before Master Lin once more.
"With the Blood Moon Gem protecting us, we're immortal beings."
John gazed reverently at the Blood Moon Gem. "Admittedly, your flames were impressive."
"It took quite a while for me to recover my body."
He grinned, not hesitating for a second, as all six of them charged at Master Lin once more.
Blood-light howled, flames swirling, fire and blood weaving together and sending shockwaves through the air.
The battle raged on, tangled and relentless.
Master Lin kicked off the ground, soaring skyward, racing toward the Blood Moon Gem hovering overhead.
Henderson and the others saw this and transformed into giant bats, shooting upward and forming a dark canopy above Master Lin.
They shielded the Blood Moon Gem behind them, the six taking turns launching deadly attacks at Master Lin.
"Break!"
Master Lin snorted coldly. Fire dragons erupted beneath his feet—dozens of blazing dragons roared forward.
The bat-monsters conjured by Henderson and the others had icy wings and a foul stench. When the fire dragons closed in, they burned instantly, drawing sharp shrieks from the vampires' mouths.
The Blood Moon Gem's light surged, enveloping the six bats and suppressing even the fire dragons.
"It's useless! The Blood Moon Gem contains half a drop of our Blood Clan founder's essence blood. That life force lets us revive and recover endlessly!"
"That's the power of our Blood Clan founder! You don't stand a chance!"
Henderson's voice was wild. Bathed in the gem's light, his wounds healed rapidly, and his strength kept climbing.
A thunderous crash.
The six bats flapped their wings, swatting all the fire dragons aside. Under the Blood Moon Gem's suppression, the dragons faded.
Empowered by the gem, the six bats were now stronger than ever.
Under the moonlight, their bodies shimmered with a metallic sheen, chilling to behold.
"Now this is interesting."
Master Lin landed, looking up at the sky. At last, a faint smile appeared on his face.
