Heading Out

1/18/2026

Several days later.

On a mountain peak, Snowsun God-King stood with his hands behind his back at the edge of the cliff. The injuries and burned hair from his earlier clash with Redmoon God-King had fully recovered. A gust of wind swept past, lifting his snowy white hair, lending him an air of effortless elegance.

There was a pavilion on this mountain peak.

Ian Song personally brewed fragrant tea and handed a cup each to Silverwing God-King and Redmoon God-King, then poured one for himself—deliberately forgetting the other person in the pavilion.

Mira Skylar was clearly unhappy about this and glared at Ian, saying, "I want tea too!"

"No servants here—pour it yourself!"

Ian glanced at her and replied in an annoyed tone.

"No, you have to pour it for me!"

Mira Skylar huffed angrily.

"Drink it or don't—whatever!"

Ian couldn't be bothered to deal with her. This girl had spent the last few days either making trouble for him or contradicting everything he said. If not for Snowsun God-King's reputation, he probably would have spanked her again.

"...You...!"

Mira Skylar was fuming. She ran out of the pavilion to complain to Snowsun God-King, "Daddy, Ian Song bullied me again! You have to stand up for me!"

"You... why do you never grow up!"

Snowsun God-King looked at Mira Skylar with amusement, but his eyes were full of deep affection.

"Little brother, I think Miss Sikong might have a crush on you!"

Redmoon God-King said with a bright smile.

"Pfft, only a ghost would want a bossy girl like her!" Ian retorted, clearly annoyed.

"Ian Song, what did you just say? Who are you calling bossy?"

Even though she was some distance away, Mira Skylar still overheard their conversation. At first her eyes flashed with a hint of panic, but when she heard Ian's words, she instantly grew furious, storming back into the pavilion to confront him.

"What do you think?"

Ian shot her a mischievous look.

"You jerk! I'm going to fight you!"

Just as Mira Skylar was about to pounce, Snowsun God-King suddenly spoke: "Mira, stop fooling around. The God-Demon Corps people are here!"

"Hmph! I'll let you off this time, but next time, I won't go easy on you!"

Mira Skylar waved her fist menacingly.

The next moment, the void in front of the cliff opened, and nine God-Kings emerged, landing on the mountain peak.

"Brother Sikong, we meet again!"

The leading God-King, an elderly man, smiled kindly as he spoke.

Of the nine God-Kings, six were men and three were women.
