Bay Family of the Bay of Legends

The Starblade Sect has already been established, and even during disciple recruitment, it is overwhelmed with applicants. Yet, Joe Di is not entirely satisfied. What he truly wants is for cultivators from the Four Great Immortal Continents, especially those from the Sifang Immortal Continent, to ascend directly to the Taiji Realm instead of the Dao Realm. Most of his friends and brothers would ascend from the Four Great Immortal Continents.

The Dao Realm is far too remote, and its distance from Celestial Beyond is vast. In Joe Di's view, the void universe where Celestial Beyond resides is the true home of Dao cultivators. Surrounding Celestial Beyond are not only numerous divine realms, but it is also the site of several great Creation Wars.

However, even Joe Di himself knows that with his current abilities, it would be extremely difficult to achieve this goal.

Regardless of Joe Di's concerns, the founding of the Starblade Sect is still the most significant event in the Taiji Realm at present. What surprised everyone even more was that Ren Jisha, the master of Moonspire Temple, decisively disbanded the temple and joined the Starblade Sect with his son Ren He, without bringing a single cultivator from Moonspire Temple along.

Even when Joe Di told Ren Jisha that he could bring the entire Moonspire Temple into the Starblade Sect and let it become one of the sect's divine peaks, Ren Jisha still refused.

Joe Di naturally understood why Ren Jisha made this choice, and he felt quite satisfied with it. The Starblade Sect had just been founded, while Moonspire Temple was already deeply rooted in the Taiji Realm. If Ren Jisha had brought the entire Moonspire Temple into the Starblade Sect at its inception, it could easily have led to Moonspire Temple dominating the sect.

Even though Joe Di knew such a thing was unlikely to happen, he was still very pleased with Ren Jisha's attitude—it showed Ren Jisha was truly determined to follow him.

Although Ren Jisha's cultivation method was already well-established, since he had yet to reach Unity, Joe Di still imparted his own Blade Dao divine abilities to him.

In the future, when Joe Di is not present in the Starblade Sect, Ren Jisha will be its primary leader. It would not do for him to be unfamiliar with the Blade Dao divine abilities.

The Bay of Legends—if you went back millions of years, it was renowned throughout the vast universe. At the mere mention of the Bay of Legends, almost everyone knew of it, and all were wary.

This was simply because the Bay of Legends produced so many powerful cultivators; any one of them could be a Third Step expert. Moreover, among the Third Step cultivators from the Bay of Legends, very few were pseudo-Third Step—they had nearly all truly comprehended the Dao's essence and crossed into the Third Step as true powerhouses.

The fame of the Bay of Legends began with the strongest domain on the edge of Celestial Beyond in those days.

Back then, the domain closest to Celestial Beyond was not the current Twelve Realms, but the Primeval Realm. The Primeval Realm was abundant in Chaotic Primeval Qi, a treasure coveted by all cultivators. Thanks to this Primeval Qi, the Primeval Realm was the most prosperous and flourishing place in that part of the universe. Cultivating in the Primeval Realm yielded twice the results with half the effort. With the aid of Primeval Qi, not only did comprehension and cultivation progress faster, but a cultivator's foundation became much more solid.

At that time, the Primeval Realm was home to a major cultivation family—the Xun Family. Once, the most talented disciple of the Xun Family, Xun Huang, and a disciple of the Bay of Legends, Gavin Bay, undertook a trial together in the Primeval Realm. By chance, they discovered a Primeval Pearl.

It was Xun Huang who discovered the Primeval Pearl, while Gavin Bay obtained the Primeval Stele and several other items. Gavin Bay wished to trade for the Primeval Pearl, but Xun Huang refused. Unexpectedly, Gavin Bay schemed against Xun Huang, and after killing him, tried to escape with the Primeval Pearl.

Xun Huang was the Xun Family's greatest genius, so his every move was closely watched. The moment Gavin Bay killed Xun Huang, the Xun Family knew. They immediately sealed off the entire Primeval Realm to capture Gavin Bay.

Gavin Bay, too, had a formidable background—he hailed from the Bay of Legends and was a distinguished scion of the Bay Family. Realizing he was trapped in the Primeval Realm, he immediately sent out a distress signal.

Once that distress signal was sent, the Bay Family of the Bay of Legends dispatched numerous Third Step experts. These powerhouses descended upon the Primeval Realm and slaughtered its inhabitants. That was not all—the Primeval Realm was then refined by one of the Bay Family's experts into a top-tier True Spirit World. Such a True Spirit World, if upgraded, could easily advance to a Five Elements World.

From that moment onward, the Bay Family of the Bay of Legends gained a fearsome reputation—no one dared provoke them.

Yet the Bay Family was also torn apart by internal strife over this matter, for the Gavin Bay whom they had rescued did not hand over the Primeval Pearl as the family demanded. Instead, he fled with it. It is said Gavin Bay even betrayed his ancestors, abandoning his surname and changing his name to Primeval Gavin.

This enraged the Bay Family of the Bay of Legends, and at that time, the family's patriarch Charles Bay personally led a group of Bay Family experts to hunt down Gavin Bay.

Initially, Gavin Bay was constantly on the run. But less than a thousand years later, he returned and killed all those Bay Family experts who had pursued him, including Charles Bay himself.

After that battle, the Bay Family was left greatly weakened. It was later rumored that the family simply relocated the Bay of Legends. No one knows what means they used, but even during the Creation Wars, the Bay Family was not drawn into the conflict.

Now, in the grand council hall of the Bay Family in the Bay of Legends, more than a dozen experts were seated. If Joe Di or a powerhouse like Dao Sovereign Voidbreaker entered, they would immediately notice that most of those present were Third Step cultivators. Even the weakest among them was at the mid-Unity stage.

At the head of the table sat a middle-aged man with a dark complexion—James Bay, the current head of the Bay Family.

The atmosphere in the guest hall was heavy, until a long-bearded elder broke the silence: "Patriarch, elders of the Bay Family. The matter of Barry Jack being killed outside is no trivial issue. Our family was gravely weakened by that incident years ago, and to this day, no new Third Step cultivators have emerged. Barry Jack left to seek an opportunity for the Third Step.

If other Bay Family disciples perish outside, it is regrettable but understandable. But Barry Jack is different—not only is he a direct descendant of the Supreme Charles Bay, he also holds the True Primeval World. Furthermore, Barry Jack did not escape secretly; he left with our permission."

The elder paused here, but everyone understood his meaning—Barry Jack was not like the other disciples of the Bay Family. More importantly, the True Primeval World refined by Barry Jack's ancestor Charles Bay was now in Barry Jack's possession. The True Primeval World was one of the Bay Family's greatest treasures and must not fall into outside hands.

James Bay spoke slowly, "Elder Yiyu is right. This matter cannot be ignored by our Bay Family. Elder Yiyu, take Yifei, Ping, and Ku with you to investigate. The True Primeval World is of utmost importance—it must not fall into anyone else's hands."

"Yes, I will certainly bring the True Primeval World back. As long as Barry Jack's body remains, I will ensure his return as well," the long-bearded elder replied without hesitation, his tone unwavering.

James Bay nodded. "The few of you should be enough. From what I know, after the two Creation Wars, there are no real powerhouses outside. Even if there are Third Step cultivators, they are newcomers and nothing to fear. Our Bay Family has avoided two Creation Wars already; there will not be a third. It is time for our Bay Family to venture out—we cannot remain in this small place any longer. Yiyu, go ahead and prepare. Once everything is ready, our Bay Family will soon return to the Five Elements Universe. The Five Elements Universe cannot be without our family."
