A modest, ordinary restaurant, inside a simple private room.

His mother, Linda Chen, and Aunt May Lin held hands, still reminiscing about years of shared experiences. Andrew Han sat across from them, his mind in turmoil.

"Graywhite Aura!"

"Let's see how much Graywhite Aura I can obtain today," he pondered silently. "As long as my body can withstand it, I'll absorb as much of the Graywhite Aura as possible."

After quite a while.

Andrew Han composed himself and then smiled, "Mom, Aunt May, I'm starving—let's eat!"

Linda Chen glanced at Andrew, a smile of fondness flickering in her eyes. "You ate so much for breakfast, child."

May Lin picked up a wooden chopstick and placed a piece of beef in Andrew's bowl. "Oh, Linda. Andrew's still growing—he needs to eat more. You can't let the boy go hungry."

Linda Chen waved her hand. "Alright, alright, you're right. You always loved to reason things out—I'm not going to argue with you."

"Haha."

May Lin shook her head, amused.

Rare, truly rare.

Ever since she achieved career success and her status steadily rose, it was rare to have such casual friends. Most people would converse with her cautiously, never as naturally as Linda Chen.

But precisely because of this, she felt close and unreserved.

"Here, Andrew." May Lin picked up another piece of beef and placed it on Andrew's plate. "Eat more beef—it's good for a boy's health. I have a son and daughter too, and I usually cook beef for them."

She had a son and daughter as well, but in contrast to Linda Chen.

Her eldest daughter was studying at Jiangnan University as a freshman, while her younger son was still in high school.

After lunch.

May Lin and Linda Chen walked out of the private room, with Andrew Han following behind.
