Profound Immortal Treasure

1/5/2026

"Nobody panic! Find somewhere to hide and don’t move a muscle!" Ryan Ling froze for a split second—these guys clearly weren’t ordinary thugs. Each one had some tricks up their sleeve, and there were a ton of them. Just counting the ones in sight, there had to be at least a few dozen, plus hidden sentries all around. Add it up and you’re looking at a hundred people easy. Bottom line: Ryan had just barged straight into a bandit lair. He’d felt a chill at first, but as soon as he heard them talking about a Profound Immortal’s treasure, he was hooked. If he could snag something like that, it’d be like strapping jet engines to a tiger.

He told Alice and Hepburn to hide, then started inching closer himself. He could handle these guys if he had to, but with so many enemies, if even one managed to escape, he’d be facing a city-wide manhunt. He’d just arrived in Stan City for a mission—he wasn’t about to stir up a hornet’s nest. So, for now, he wanted to stay off their radar.

He crept around to the back. With his skills, there was zero chance the bandits would spot him. They were still busy drinking and feasting, totally oblivious to Ryan sneaking up behind them.

"Good work, brothers! The boss’ll definitely reward you later!"

"No worries, big bro. You guys eat and drink first, we’ll swap out later! Go on!"

......

Ryan reached the back of the mansion and spotted a few guys hanging around a storeroom. Clearly, this was where the bandits stashed their loot. Ryan could sense that there was even a Profound Immortal corpse inside, along with other treasures—stuff you’d never find in the Immortal Domain World. Top-tier gear, piles of pills—all perfect for leveling up his power.

Ryan swallowed hard—talk about a gift from the heavens! Without a second thought, he flashed over to the storeroom entrance.

"Who’s there—" The two guards barely got the words out before they dropped dead, their bodies vanishing into thin air. The rest of the guys inside were still partying, totally unaware anything had happened. They’d just checked the place, so who’d ever guess Ryan would strike so fast?

This was pure luck! Ryan slipped inside the storeroom, which wasn’t huge but was packed with goodies. The outer shelves were loaded with pills—all top-grade Profound Immortal advancement pills. Ryan swept them all into his storage, and they started fermenting in his body right away. He wasn’t like ordinary people—his body was basically a natural furnace. As soon as the pills hit his system, they kicked into gear!

Ryan could feel he was just a step away from breaking through to peak Divine Immortal right here, but he held back. Leveling up wasn’t the main thing right now—because he’d just spotted a Profound Immortal corpse nearby. That was a jackpot. The power stored inside was insane. Ryan didn’t hesitate; he snatched up the corpse, crushed it, and absorbed every last drop of essence. Instantly, his body felt like it was on fire—a breakthrough was just around the corner!

"Suppress!" Ryan didn’t overthink it—he forced down the breakthrough. Now was definitely not the time to level up. He had a bigger mission: track down the source of that mysterious aura!

All these gains were nice surprises, but none of it mattered compared to the real goal. Only that one thing was truly important!

Ryan had basically ransacked the whole storeroom, inside and out, but still couldn’t find the source of that aura. He was sure what he wanted was here—at least, there had to be a clue.

But the real treasure wasn’t even in the storeroom. Weird! Ryan was honestly surprised.

He searched for nearly half an hour and came up empty. But his Wish-Fulfilling Staff kept reacting, which meant the item was definitely still somewhere in this mansion.

Ryan couldn’t afford to hang around the storeroom forever. First, he hadn’t found what he wanted. Second, if he stayed too long, he’d definitely get caught!

He slipped out of the storeroom. The bandits outside were still drinking themselves silly, totally clueless that Ryan had just cleaned them out.

"Benefactor, let’s get out of here! If we wait any longer, they’ll catch us!" Alice rushed up as soon as she saw Ryan emerge, clearly worried. This was a bandit den, after all. Sure, the bandits were wasted, but their guard was still up. If they got suspicious, things could go south fast!

"Yeah, we’ve grabbed all the loot and settled old scores. Time to bail!" Hepburn chimed in.

"Hold up!" Ryan clenched his fists. Sure, he knew sticking around was risky, but leaving empty-handed? No way. He hadn’t come all this way for a bunch of storeroom junk.

Right then, his Wish-Fulfilling Staff suddenly made a noise and pointed straight at the main bedroom of the house.

"You two, retrace your steps and get out of here. I’ll be right back!" Ryan knew this was his last shot—he had to grab it. He didn’t wait for Alice and Hepburn to agree or not; he just dashed toward the bedroom, following the staff’s lead.

Ryan figured the real treasure was probably hidden in the bedroom. There weren’t any proper guards around, just a few seductive women getting dolled up—clearly prepping to entertain the bandit lords. Each one looked like a total enchantress.

The moment they heard Ryan’s footsteps, the women squealed with delight, ready to pounce. But Ryan wasn’t interested—he waved a hand and knocked them all out cold. Then he started searching the bedroom. It was huge, and packed with all sorts of kinky stuff. Clearly, the owner had some very particular tastes.

"Damn it, where the hell is that thing?" Ryan rummaged everywhere—the staff’s signal was crystal clear, the item was here. He tore through every box and chest, but came up empty. He was getting seriously frustrated, ready to flip the whole bedroom upside down. Just as he hit peak rage, the staff suddenly pointed at the big bed.

"On the bed?" Ryan was confused, but the staff’s signal was legit. He didn’t hesitate—he headed straight for the bed.

He took a closer look and found something under the pillow—a pair of diamond-studded underwear. The staff was locked onto it like a heat-seeking missile.

"What the heck?" Ryan was floored—was the Immortal-World Overlord really sending him to the Demonic World just to find a pair of fancy briefs?

But there was no time to think. Ryan grabbed the underwear and headed for the door—just as chaos erupted outside. The bandits had finally noticed the storeroom had been hit and were yelling up a storm. In seconds, the whole mansion was in uproar, with shouts and running everywhere!

Right then, someone shouted, "Two women up ahead—grab them! They must be the culprits!"

Ryan’s heart skipped a beat—crap, Alice and Hepburn had been spotted. No way could he just stand by now…
