Battle with the Pseudo-Sky Rank Alchemical Golems

Chapter 1243

Suddenly, the Pseudo-Sky Rank Alchemical Golem raised its right arm again. A blinding radiance gathered at the mouth of its massive cannon, condensing into a sphere of light. The instant Leon dodged the barrage of flaming rays, the blast erupted—anticipating even the spot where Leon would reappear.

Leon’s expression shifted slightly. In addition to the Quad-Elemental Shield, he conjured a Rule Rune Shield for extra protection.

The blinding pillar of light struck the Quad-Elemental Shield, pausing for a split second before shredding it to pieces. The force of the light explosion slammed into the Rule Rune Shield, distorting its surface—at least four or five thousand Law Sigils were triggered, flickering and leaping across the shield.

The immense force sent Leon flying back dozens of meters before the power of the radiant beam finally dissipated.

In that instant, Leon’s face grew grave. For the Rule Rune Shield to activate four or five thousand Law Sigils at once meant that single strike was easily on par with a ninth-level single-target spell cast by a first-level Sky Rank mage.

But the Alchemical Golem before him was clearly not Sky Rank—no awakened intellect, no transcendent power, just pure magical brute force.

Leon knew this better than anyone. Without breaking through to Sky Rank himself, his full power could rival a Sky Rank Level 2 mage, relying on overwhelming magical output to forcibly suppress his opponents. The strength he unleashed was in no way inferior to a true Sky Rank.

And this pseudo-Sky Rank Alchemical Golem was no different.

Leon drew out the Death Tome, its Elemental Chapter flaring with brilliance. The Doombringer Staff shimmered with a violet glow, and the Violet Drake Avatar could manifest at any moment to lend its power.
