Martial Arts Student Andrew Han

1/5/2026

Inside the classroom of Senior Class 7, there were still thirty minutes left before evening self-study ended.

Gavin Bright's face was filled with excitement as he whispered, "Andrew Han, I just went to the bathroom and overheard students from other classes mentioning your name... You've really made a name for yourself. I bet Kyle Gao won't dare to mess with you anymore."

"Heh."

Andrew Han glanced at Gavin Bright and shook his head.

When it came to troublemakers like Kyle Gao, he truly didn't want to get involved, nor did he care to provoke them. But if it was a situation like in the Martial Arts Theory class, where Kyle Gao came looking for trouble, that was another matter entirely.

To be honest.

Recalling his high school experiences from his previous life, Andrew Han felt a deep aversion toward these so-called troublemakers. If they didn’t want to study, they should just keep quiet—teachers wouldn’t strictly discipline them anyway.

The problem was, these people always felt the need to prove themselves.

Things like intimidation, ambushing students after school, and filming videos of others kneeling and begging for mercy... These vile incidents happened all too often.

"But still."

"Although I did slam his head twice, I held back and only caused minor scrapes. Even if this gets reported to the Senior Year Director, it wouldn't count as a serious fight. Besides, Kyle Gao cares a lot about his reputation—he'd never go to a teacher himself."

There was no pity in Andrew Han’s heart—only indifference.

Sympathy, kindness, and generosity toward some people are noble qualities—fundamental virtues that must be upheld.

But toward certain others, leniency is just foolishness; gentleness is nothing but stupidity!

"By the way." Andrew Han frowned and looked at Gavin Bright. "I heard the third mock exam is scheduled for the week after next?"

"Yeah."

Gavin Bright nodded repeatedly. "This third mock exam uses a unified test paper with other high schools in Riverdale. They say the overall ranking of Riverdale’s high school students will be published... Of the top hundred senior liberal arts students in Riverdale, our school should have at least half."

"Zoe Li from our class will definitely make it into Riverdale’s top hundred."

"By the way, Andrew Han... Have you switched to the Martial Arts Program Student track? What did Mr. Grant King say?"

Gavin Bright kept chattering away.

On one hand, he felt rather unfamiliar with Andrew Han. But on the other, curiosity gnawed at him—he wanted to figure out how Andrew had suddenly become so fierce, as if he truly were a bona fide martial arts student.

Andrew sidestepped the topic of martial arts students, instead chuckling lightly, "You don't have to worry about the next placement test. You definitely won't be at the bottom of the rankings."

Huh?

Next placement test?

Gavin Bright blinked in confusion, trying to make sense of Andrew Han's seemingly disjointed words. Unable to hold back, he muttered, "Andrew, are you planning to help me out? No way, no way. My dad says even if I bomb the test, he'll just break my legs. But if I dare to cheat, he'll kill me for sure."

"You'll see soon enough."

Andrew Han smiled enigmatically.

Bottom of the rankings?

That spot absolutely belonged to Andrew Han! No one could take it from him!

Just so you know.
