Profound Immortal Power Shakes Heaven and Earth

1/5/2026

Right now, Ryan Ling was already savoring the insane benefits, but he knew if he didn’t quit while he was ahead, he was gonna get wrecked. After all, this was Nine-Dragon Gate’s top Sect Master flipping out—Profound Immortal power, even just a little taste, was enough to make Ryan not dare mess around!

But honestly, Ryan wasn’t totally panicking. Sure, he had zero chance against a Profound Immortal, but he still had that hint of Immortal-World Giant God aura on him. Maybe that wasn’t enough to actually fight a Profound Immortal, but for staying alive and making a getaway? Totally doable!

“Ryan, fall back, now!” Elder Harold Hong shouted. With the Sect Master personally taking action, there was no second option—Ryan’s face said it all: time to bail!

And it wasn’t just Elder Harold—every trapped Ruins Sect higher-up was signaling for retreat too. They couldn’t speak right now, but you could tell they were praying Ryan would survive. At this point, only Ryan could keep the ruined Ruins Sect from going extinct!

Ryan didn’t hesitate for a second—he wasn’t about to play the bug trying to block a chariot!

He instantly jumped out of the siege, pulling back fast. Aside from Elder Harold Hong, who couldn’t help glancing back, pretty much everyone from Ruins Sect had already retreated!

Every sect has a secret escape tunnel for emergencies, and of course Ruins Sect was no exception. Everyone was scrambling down the tunnel.

“Go! Hit the tunnel, now!” Elder Harold Hong didn’t even hesitate, dragging Ryan along with him!

With the battlefield going totally nuts, not even Ryan could hold out. First priority: get out alive!

“Trying to run? Dream on!” Right now, with Nine-Dragon Gate’s upper echelon sweeping through, Ruins Sect’s top ranks were basically toast. But to catch Ryan, the Sect Master was willing to toss away that chance and hurl all his power straight at Ryan!

This power was clearly extraordinary—definitely not something ordinary people could withstand!

Even Ruins Sect’s higher-ups had to think twice!

But right now, that wild power was aimed straight at Ryan—he knew he had to activate his strongest defense or he’d be in serious trouble. But the instant he did, his Heavenly Immortal defense shattered—there was no stopping it!

“That’s nuts!” Ryan was shaken. He’d just advanced to Heavenly Immortal and thought he could wipe out Nine-Dragon Gate’s whole elder corps—maybe even spar with the top brass. But seeing this kind of power, he was glad he hadn’t rushed in headlong!

“Ryan, I’ll block for you—get out of here!” Elder Harold Hong shouted, seeing Ryan in such danger. Ryan was the sect’s biggest hope—he couldn’t afford any slip-ups. As for Harold, now crippled, he wasn’t much use anymore.

“Get out of the way!” But Ryan knew better than anyone—if Harold tried to block now, he’d just be cannon fodder. So Ryan yanked Harold aside and put himself in front.

In an instant, a torrent of Profound power slammed into him. Ryan’s late-stage Heavenly Immortal strength could handle ordinary immortals, but against a Profound Immortal? No chance.

In a flash, everything behind him exploded—the already-cracked Heavenly Immortal defense shattered completely.

And the explosion kept spreading—his back split open, blood everywhere, and even his powerful Immortal Crystals were blown to bits. With defense like this, Ryan was just asking to get killed.

“Ryan! Ryan!” Elder Harold Hong shouted frantically. He knew better than anyone: if Ryan died here, Ruins Sect was finished—no coming back, ever.

On the other side, Nine-Dragon Gate was suddenly fired up. Even though they’d sacrificed a ton to fight Ryan, everyone knew he was priceless—if they could catch him, even losing another elder corps would be worth it!

“Little punk, let’s see if you can still act tough!” Not just Nine-Dragon Gate’s Sect Master, but even the Supreme Elders were yelling, all of them going nuts. They’d taken huge losses to Ryan, so now they were letting it all out.

Ryan, meanwhile, was on the verge of collapse—his Heavenly Immortal power was wiped out almost instantly.

He was a blink away from total destruction.

But at that critical moment, the powerful aura around Ryan started spinning fast. It was the blessing from that top Immortal-World bigshot. Ryan had been hiding in Celestial Hall, trying to figure it out, but no matter how much he studied, he couldn’t unlock its true power.

Now, with Ryan facing an unprecedented Profound Immortal attack, the aura finally kicked in—like instinctive magic, it wrapped around him inside and out.

At that moment, Nine-Dragon Gate’s Sect Master unleashed his Profound Immortal power to the max, blasting Ryan with everything he had. Normally, Ryan would be dead for sure—his whole body would be destroyed inside and out.

But right then, just as everyone from Nine-Dragon Gate was waiting for the kill, something unbelievable happened—Ryan’s wrecked body suddenly glowed, and that weird light blocked the Profound Immortal power outside.

The crushing weight on Ryan vanished instantly, and his pale face went back to normal. Aside from gasping for breath, he looked fine.

“What the heck just happened?” Elder Harold Hong was stunned. He knew Ryan’s power and potential were insane—he was a true prodigy. But even prodigies have limits. Ryan was only a Heavenly Immortal; blocking ordinary immortals was already crazy strong, but stopping Profound Immortal power? No way.

Everyone else was stunned too, but Ryan knew exactly what was up—he didn’t hesitate, just shot out like a rocket. He knew this shield wouldn’t last; his top priority was to grab Harold and get out!

But right then, Nine-Dragon Gate’s Sect Master was totally losing it. Ryan and Nine-Dragon Gate were mortal enemies now—there was no way he’d let Ryan escape so easily. He blasted Ryan with an even stronger wave of Profound Immortal power.

This power was more than ten times stronger than before—in a flash, everything around Ryan exploded, and even space and time twisted. From the outside, it looked like Ryan was about to be dragged into a warped pocket of reality!

This was what Profound Immortal power meant—a single strike could not only overwhelm, but warp all of space and time. Once you got pulled into that twisted dimension, it was game over.

Ryan already had one foot in that warped space—one more push and he’d be dragged in for good. That was a guaranteed death sentence.

Ryan felt the danger like never before—without hesitating, he tried to connect with the aura. He knew his own power couldn’t block this Profound Immortal force; only the Giant God’s blessing could help. But at this crucial moment, the aura seemed powerless against the Sect Master’s attack. Worse, Ryan’s other foot was yanked in too—his life hung by a thread, sweat pouring down his face…
