Bolt nodded rapidly, looking just like a chick pecking at grain. "Yes, yes! I saw not just two people, but watched as they walked freely through Chaos, not even relying on any artifacts. If not for my innate ability to blend with Chaos, they might have even discovered me."
Joe Di was still pondering what kind of Grand Way these two cultivators practiced when Bolt continued, "I heard one of them say..."
"You could hear voices in Chaos?" Joe Di, having been to Chaos himself, knew just how unbelievable Bolt's claim was.
Bolt shook his head. "No, I couldn't hear them directly. They were communicating through voice transmission, but I could sense their transmission rules within Chaos..."
"What did they say?" Joe Di nodded. Bolt's awakened talent not only allowed him to move and cultivate freely in Chaos, but also to sense the sudden fluctuations of rules within it. To be able to cultivate in Chaos meant fusing one's Grand Way rules into the chaos itself. If other rules suddenly appeared and fluctuated, Bolt could sense them—quite normal, really.
Bolt said indignantly, "Those two bastards are searching for living universes, talking about using them to perfect their own Grand Way Source..."
Joe Di understood at once. What those two cultivators called the Grand Way Source was similar to his Dao Tree. He had constructed a Dao Tree, with each Grand Way branch manifesting upon it. Other cultivators might not build Dao Trees; perhaps they formed Dao Rivers, Dao Mountains, or other forms to refine their own Grand Way origin.
No matter what form the Grand Way Source took, its ultimate purpose was the same. The Grand Way was vast, Chaos even more boundless. Sensing the Dao Tree as the final direction of the Grand Way was not unique to Joe Di alone.
"Those two bastards have already found many universes with cultivators, and they said that if they could find a few more decent Grand Way universes, their Grand Way Source would be perfected..." Bolt vented his anger while secretly watching Joe Di's expression.
Joe Di's face darkened. "You mean, they might find the universe we live in?"
