The next moment, Kathy Wenren nervously asked, "Master, do you suspect them?"

Ancestor Cyrus gave Kathy Wenren a deep look. "A divine artifact stirs the heart. All of them have major powers from Jasper Splendor Cave-Heaven behind them. If they bring this news back, they'll earn huge merit!"

"But aren't they all fellow disciples? They shouldn't do something like that!" Kathy Wenren argued.

"If they wouldn't do it, then why didn't they come back with you? When interests are at stake, even father and son or master and disciple can't talk about feelings, let alone fellow disciples!"

Ancestor Cyrus snorted coldly. "If your junior brother comes out of this fine, then whatever. But if something happens to him, I swear I'll skin those brats alive!"

As he spoke, a sharp murderous intent flashed in Ancestor Cyrus's eyes. Then he told Kathy Wenren, "Things won't be peaceful outside for a while. You just stay in Whitewater Courtyard!"

As soon as he finished speaking, Ancestor Cyrus vanished—most likely off to find Ancestor Martin to discuss countermeasures.

"Sigh."

Kathy Wenren let out a quiet sigh. She knew her master valued her junior brother, but she never expected it to be this much—enough to threaten to skin the other five disciples alive for him.

As for her master keeping her in Whitewater Courtyard, part of it was for her safety, but the other part was to stop her from leaking the news about Ian Song having a divine artifact to her own clan.

Thinking of this, she still felt a bit uncomfortable inside.

"What!"

Inside Greenmount Courtyard, when Ancestor Martin heard that the person leading hundreds of Ancestral Immortals on a wild goose chase over the divine artifact was actually his own disciple, he nearly jumped up in shock, muttering, "That kid never causes trouble, but when he does, it's earth-shattering!"

Ancestor Cyrus continued, "Luckily, no one knows yet that he's the one with the divine artifact. But give it a day or two and things might change. Aside from Kathy Wenren, none of my other five wayward disciples have come back—most likely they've already brought the news to their family powers!"

Ancestor Martin said anxiously, "Then what are we waiting for? We need to find that kid right now! If he gets exposed, no matter how great his skills are, he won't escape a hunt by so many Ancestral Immortals!"

"No rush!"

Ancestor Cyrus shook his head.

"What, are you planning to give up on him?" Ancestor Martin's face changed.

"What are you thinking!"

Ancestor Cyrus snapped, "What I mean is, even if we add Old Third, we can't handle hundreds of Ancestral Immortals. And who knows how many old monsters are lurking in the shadows! So, just the three of us won't cut it. We need to call in some friends for backup—only then do we stand a chance of protecting that kid and his divine artifact!"

"But what if we're too late and that kid gets caught?"

Ancestor Martin said worriedly.

"Don't worry!" Ancestor Cyrus's face darkened. "Even if those five wayward disciples take the news back to their families, do you really think their clans will spread it all over? They'll act in secret, hoping to keep the divine artifact for themselves. So for the next three to five days, that kid shouldn't be exposed. Besides, if he can run circles around hundreds of Ancestral Immortals, he must be good at escaping. And these few days give us time to persuade our old friends!"

"Looks like this time we'll have to bleed big!" Ancestor Martin said, feeling the pinch.

Ancestor Cyrus snorted, "Hmph, no price is too high! Think about it—how many powers in the Langya Immortal World have Divine-Grade Techniques? Yet that kid gave each of us one."

Most importantly, both of these techniques can be cultivated all the way to the God-King level. Techniques like these are top-tier even in the God Realm—their value is beyond imagination.

So what's a little bleeding for us?

Besides, that kid is full of mysteries—he gave us the Pill Canon and Formation Canon, which already brought us huge gains, then handed over Divine-Grade Techniques that made our strength skyrocket. You can see he truly treats us as his masters, unlike my other disciples, who all have their own schemes and think I'm blind!

Now he's stirred up this divine artifact business—who knows what other secrets he'll uncover next? With us as his masters, do you think he'd ever shortchange us?

"Hmph, in the end, you just want to take advantage of my disciple!"
