"I'm Queenie Tong."

"I used to be Serena's manager, and I'm also her younger sister."

"If you're interested, I can introduce you to a few directors. They'll send you scripts, and you can pick whichever roles you want—anything is possible."

This call from Queenie Tong brought a sudden ray of hope to Maggie Sun, who had already grown exhausted and despairing.

Inside the Rolls-Royce.

"Isn't this a bit too much trouble for you?"

Lynn Chen still felt a bit embarrassed, glancing at Evan Lin, who had just put down his phone: "Maggie Sun used to be a really nice person, and her dad was a big businessman."

"But later, I heard her dad got scammed in business and lost a lot of money. After that, she gradually stopped keeping in touch with me and Fang You."

"Now she wants to be a star—probably because celebrities earn money fast, so she wants to help her family."

Lynn kept talking.

She actually knew everything.

She knew why Maggie Sun had disappeared for so long, and she also knew why Maggie never reached out to her, Fang You, or Sisi Shao.

It was nothing more than not doing well in life and feeling too ashamed to show her face.

Lynn Chen knew, but she never said it out loud.

She did it to protect Maggie's pride and avoid hurting her self-esteem.

"It's really no trouble—just a single phone call."

Evan Lin shook his head. "Don't worry about it."

Hearing Evan say that, Lynn Chen nodded and didn't say anything more.

These days, she actually felt like Evan Lin was a little easier to talk to than before.

She wasn't sure if it was just her imagination.
