Wealth Within the Storage Rings

"You killed all of them? Th-this can't be possible!" The Freewind Palace Lord stared at Evan Chu, utterly stunned.

You have to understand, those people were all top experts of the Azure Tide Ruins, and their speed was terrifying. Evan Chu might be able to kill one or two, but to slay all of them at once was simply impossible—even chasing them down should've taken a long time.

"If I say they're dead, then they're dead. You know my speed—did you forget how fast I got to that place before? Dealing with these people was nothing to me, so don't be so shocked! You all handle the rest; I'm leading our disciples home. As for Blood Alliance's treasury, I don't even want it. Trust me, I've already got a much bigger haul." Evan Chu grinned, his tone full of swagger.

"Sect Master Chu, you're just too terrifying. Thank the heavens we're friends—if we ever had to face you as an enemy, I can't even imagine the consequences." The Sacred Sword Sect Master said, still shaken.

"Don't worry. I always repay respect with respect, and I keep my grudges clear. No need for extra words—I've got a mountain of sect affairs waiting for me. Farewell!" Evan Chu smiled, his voice crisp and direct.

Blood Alliance, formed from four of the original Nine Great Sects in the Azure Tide Ruins, was wiped out by Evan Chu and his allies in less than half a day. No one could've predicted this outcome.

At the same time, Evan Chu's heaven-defying strength left everyone convinced. Shadow had nearly finished absorbing the blood-reeking qi, and soon joined Evan Chu and the Frostbane Sect disciples on their journey home.

All along the way, Frostbane Sect disciples were exhilarated—their Sect Master’s strength made them proud. Still, there was a faint sense of loss in their hearts: they hadn't gotten a share of Blood Alliance's wealth.

"Sect Master, why did you give up Blood Alliance's fortune? That was the combined savings of four great sects—there must've been plenty of good stuff." Joan He flew up beside Evan Chu and asked.

"Heh, Elder He, you’ve got it all wrong. The real wealth of those four sects is already in my hands. I killed their leaders and took their storage rings. You know, those guys are shrewd—they’d never put all their best treasures in a public stash for sharing.

The truly valuable treasures are always kept close—I'm sure you understand that. Once we're back, we'll go through the haul in detail. Everyone who came with me to take on Blood Alliance gets a share!" Evan Chu laughed.

"Sect Master, you really are a legend. The other sect masters must be secretly fuming right now, but none of them would dare utter a word of complaint. At this rate, Frostbane Sect might truly be the strongest sect in the Azure Tide Ruins." Joan He grinned.

"Better to stay low-key. Fame brings trouble, just like a fattened pig draws the butcher. We both know how it works. Discipline must be stricter than ever—no one gets to bully others just because they're from Frostbane Sect. Remind everyone: if I catch wind of it, punishment will be severe!" Evan said sternly.

"Don't worry, Sect Master. I'll make sure everyone knows exactly what you mean. I doubt anyone would dare step out of line." Joan He promised.

Evan Chu patted Shadow's head and asked, "Shadow, how did the blood-reeking qi feel this time? Any chance it helped you grow?"

"Boss, this blood-reeking qi did come from some strong human cultivators, but there just wasn't enough of it. If I could absorb a few more batches like this, maybe I'd level up. But without the Netherghost Violet Orchid, even endless qi won't matter." Shadow replied.

"Don't worry, I'll get the Netherghost Violet Orchid. I need it just as much as you do. Let's head back to the sect—the rest of the group is way too slow. At this pace, we won't get home before midnight." Evan said.

With that, Evan hopped off Shadow's back. Shadow instantly shrank down into a mini 'puppy,' and Evan scooped him up in his arms, vanishing from sight with a single teleport.

After a few consecutive teleports, Evan arrived back at Frostbane Sect. "Ladies, I'm home!" he shouted into the sect grounds.

His voice rang out, and all his wives immediately rushed out. Seeing him safe and sound, their faces lit up with joy.

"Linfeng, how did you get back so fast? Has Blood Alliance really been wiped out? How are our disciples—were any hurt?" Selena Yale immediately asked.

"Blood Alliance is gone, I killed all those guys. I hurried back because I missed you all, and our disciples weren't too badly hurt, so don't worry!" Evan Chu replied with a cheerful grin.

"You must've made a big haul this time—hurry up and show us! I know all about what it means to wipe out a sect," Selena Yale said with a knowing smile.

"Let's go inside and take a look. I don't even know what the haul is yet, but it's definitely something special," Evan laughed.

Everyone headed back to the room. Evan sat at the table and pulled out a storage ring: "No idea whose sect master's ring this is, or what's inside. Once I erase the spiritual imprint, we'll find out."

Wiping a storage ring's imprint is usually easy—you just send your own divine sense in. But if the owner's soul is really strong, it can be tough unless yours is stronger.

Of course, Evan's divine sense was extremely powerful—it's all about soul strength. He sent his divine sense in and immediately smiled.

"Heh, this guy's loaded—tens of millions of Starstones, countless pills, some great martial manuals, and even several heaven-tier spiritual herbs," Evan marveled.

"That much? They're really loaded! Linfeng, hurry and check the other rings—Frostbane Sect has struck it rich!" Selena Yale laughed.

"Linfeng, with all these Starstones, shouldn't you give us some too? As your women, it's embarrassing not to even have Starstones—sometimes we want to reward disciples but can't," Demon Princess Selena teased.

"Seriously? I thought all of you had millions of Starstones! Let me check the other rings first, but don't worry, you won't miss out—and the sect disciples will get theirs too, like I promised," Evan laughed.

After checking the other rings, Evan was honestly a little shaken—each one had tens of millions of Starstones. But what really mattered were the pills, spiritual herbs, and top-tier martial manuals and weapons—exactly what Frostbane Sect needs.

With these, Frostbane Sect's strength will rise again. "Ten million Starstones for each of you—pick your pills." Evan said, then dumped out everything from the rings. The room was almost overflowing...
