The memories showed Kimiko’s upbringing in the Yamaguchi Syndicate’s criminal family: from childhood, she was steeped in Japanese underworld culture. At the age of seven, she lost her innocence to a minor gang leader, and from then on, she was trained with an adult mindset, learning every trick to serve powerful men in the club scene.
Japan is a male-dominated society, and the Yakuza are even more so. When Kimiko was five, her father—who was a Wakagashira (underboss) in the Yamaguchi Syndicate—sent her to the Nine Chrysanthemums Society to serve Daniel Feathercloud. In reality, she was expected to take care of his personal needs. Young Kimiko was stunningly beautiful and naturally seductive, and with her club training, it didn’t take long for her to start a secret affair with the young Daniel Feathercloud. However, Daniel was already married to a woman with serious connections, so their relationship had to remain a clandestine affair.
To "compensate" Kimiko, Daniel Feathercloud taught her many secret cultivation techniques from the Nine Chrysanthemums Society. That’s how Kimiko became a woman with a special background within the Society.
After Shawn Young skimmed through Kimiko’s memories, the scene shifted—a remote forest appeared, with a winding river on its edge. By the river stood a stilted house made of wood and bamboo, surrounded by strange wooden stakes. Animal carcasses hung from the stakes every few meters, looking random and chaotic, but any seasoned cultivator would know this was a deadly defensive formation!
The whole area was shrouded in thick, white mist, reeking of blood and decay. Every so often, a piercing scream echoed from within, making the place feel even more sinister under the dark night sky.
Inside the stilted house, a shrine stood at the center—not for Buddha or any deity, but for a monstrous creature: blue-faced, fanged, and fiercely glaring. The most terrifying part? It had eight black arms, each clutching a different magical artifact. Behind it, a long, jointed, forked tail curled up over its head, adding to the horror.
Black sandalwood incense burned on the shrine, mixing with swirling white smoke. Beneath the altar, two human-shaped dolls were bound tightly with black, oily hemp rope. One doll was soaked in a bowl of foul-smelling blood. What shocked Shawn Young was that the doll was carved to look exactly like Mai Kanda! Underneath, her birthdate and astrological details were inscribed.
Next to the shrine stood two men—one standing, one kneeling. The kneeling man was shirtless, his body covered in blood-red, strange symbols, chanting bizarre spells in a devout whisper. That man was none other than Andrew Qi, one of Shawn's targets!
The man standing wore a Taoist robe, his face covered in black gauze except for two fierce, glowing eyes. Shawn Young was stunned—the man wasn’t Daniel Feathercloud, but Master Wuxiang, the Heavenly Master Order traitor who vanished after their last battle! Master Wuxiang clutched a bulging black cloth bag in his right hand, its mysterious contents hidden from view.
Shawn Young tried to follow Kimiko’s memories to see what Andrew Qi and Master Wuxiang were up to, but suddenly her life force grew faint. The scene spun and shifted, and in an instant, he found himself inside a tall building—right behind the nightclub where Shawn and his crew were. It looked like a totally ordinary office building!
Inside, a black door loomed, marked with a strange symbol—a diamond-shaped crest with the characters for 'Yamaguchi.' From Kimiko’s memories, Shawn Young learned that this diamond crest was later called the 'Yamaguchi Crest,' the exclusive symbol of the Yamaguchi Syndicate!
Beyond the door, dozens of Japanese men in black suits lined the lobby and hallways, each gripping a samurai sword. The whole building radiated murderous intent—there must have been at least two hundred of them.
Suddenly, the scene trembled and spun again, revealing something that made Shawn Young’s heart race—a locked office on the top floor, where faint moans and the rhythmic sound of flesh slapping echoed through the air. With his experience, Shawn instantly knew what kind of 'intense battle' was happening inside!
Sure enough, following Kimiko’s memories into the office, Shawn was greeted by a wild, steamy scene—Daniel Feathercloud was sprawled naked on a huge black desk, working his hips with gusto, while riding him was none other than Kimiko herself!
Kimiko wore a pink kimono, half undone, her ample chest exposed. Daniel Feathercloud gripped her breasts tightly, kneading them with abandon. Below, she was completely naked, hair wild, hands pressed to Daniel’s shoulders as she rocked her hips with animalistic vigor, moaning like a beast in heat—she looked ready to devour him whole!
Their 'battle' was so intense that everything in the office was knocked askew—especially the desk, which shook with a powerful rhythm, clearly struggling to withstand the passion of these two wild lovers!
Soon, Kimiko picked up the pace, screaming in ecstasy as her nails dug into Daniel Feathercloud’s shoulders. She babbled wildly, while Daniel’s eyes bulged and his face flushed red as he thrust upward. With a strangled growl, his body shuddered, triggering Kimiko’s own spasms. The two collapsed together, panting and exhausted, tangled in each other’s arms!
Right then, the scene lurched and shattered like glass—'Boom!'—transforming into a swirling black vortex filled with the aura of death. Shawn Young snapped out of it, quickly withdrawing his hand from Kimiko’s forehead. Looking down, he saw her body stiffen, her life snuffed out. As soon as Shawn let go, Kimiko’s body slumped to the floor, dead!
With Kimiko dead, Shawn Young could no longer enter her sea of memories, nor gather intel on Andrew Qi or Master Wuxiang. He couldn’t figure out why they had a substitute doll of Mai Kanda, and wanted answers—but Kimiko’s death left him with nothing for now. Still, he’d gained plenty of valuable firsthand info: somewhere in the building behind the nightclub, his target Daniel Feathercloud was likely hiding! If Shawn could find Daniel, he might finally solve the mysteries gnawing at him!
