Joe Di burst out laughing, pulling out a golden invitation and saying, "No need, I have an invitation from the Xian Family. We can go straight in."
"Ah..." Quinn Fang stared in shock at the invitation in Joe Di's hand, momentarily stunned. Joe Di grabbed Quinn Fang by the shoulder and together they walked to the entrance of Xianhai's array gate.
From a distance, Cynthia Xing saw Quinn Fang actually enter Xianhai with Joe Di and was taken aback. She had deliberately made sure Quinn Fang saw her. Based on her investigation of the Fang family and Quinn Fang, she was certain he would try to escape the moment she let her guard down.
What she hadn't expected was that Quinn Fang would follow a young man into Xianhai...
Wait, that young man seemed a bit unusual, especially the blade he carried on his back.
Cynthia Xing didn't hesitate for long and directly followed them into Xianhai.
......
"Big Brother, look, that's Xianxing City up ahead. I heard that when the Xian Family first arrived, Xianhai was just a solitary star. The Xian Family took a liking to this place and transformed the planet into Xianxing. Even though it's covered in ocean, there are so many treasures hidden in Xianhai." After entering Xianhai, Quinn Fang seemed to forget about Cynthia Xing waiting for him outside.
Joe Di's gaze also landed on Xianxing City. The city wasn't built on the sea, but on one of the few pieces of land within Xianhai.
At this moment, the area outside Xianxing City was filled with radiant array formations. Because Xianxing lacked sunlight, these formations illuminated the entire city, making it even more dazzling and colorful.
"That's right," Joe Di replied, his spiritual sense already detecting Cynthia Xing following them in.
Quinn Fang continued, "The Xian Family is very generous. They're kind to visiting cultivators and treat everyone equally. Look, we entered Xianxing and later Xianxing City without needing any Divine Crystals at all."
Joe Di looked at Quinn Fang in puzzlement. "If that's the case, why were you staying outside Xianxing? Wouldn't it be better to come in?"
If it were Joe Di himself, knowing he was being hunted, he would definitely leave this place. And if he had to stay, he'd remain inside Xianxing City, not outside.
Quinn Fang scratched his head awkwardly. "It's not that I don't want to stay here—it's that I can't. While entering doesn't require Divine Crystals, living here does, and the price isn't cheap. Plus, using the teleportation arrays to travel around Xianhai also costs Divine Crystals."
"That's a clever system," Joe Di remarked. The Xian Family set up various teleportation arrays and built Wayfarer's Inns and Resthavens throughout Xianxing City. By charging for these services, they hardly need to collect entry fees anymore.
After the two entered Xianxing City, they found it bustling with activity, with cultivators coming and going everywhere. Joe Di swept the area with his spiritual sense—there were quite a few Genesis Realm cultivators, and even some at the Prime Realm.
"Big Brother, it might be hard to find an inn. Usually, Xianxing City is busy, but never this crowded. I bet most are here for the secret realm... Oh, and I heard the Xian Family Patriarch's daughter, Xian Wuchan, is getting engaged..."
Joe Di clapped Quinn Fang on the shoulder. "We don't need to look for lodging. Since I have an invitation, we'll go straight to the Xian Family."
......
The Xian Family truly had an impressive presence. Even though there was still time before the secret realm opened, people kept arriving with invitations.
Joe Di soon noticed that the cultivators coming here had all sorts of invitations. The most common were like his—golden—but some were purple-gold, and there were even invitations crafted from Void Jade.
In other words, his invitation was the lowest tier.
Before Joe Di could take out his invitation, Cynthia Xing landed in front of Joe Di and Quinn Fang. "I have something to discuss with you. For now, forget about going to the Xian Family—come outside and talk with me."
Joe Di deliberately looked Cynthia Xing up and down, finally letting his gaze rest on her chest. He seemed to shake his head subconsciously, as if dissatisfied.
He was waiting for Cynthia Xing to make a move. If she did, his main goal wasn't her—it was the Xian Family. If Cynthia dared to act here, Joe Di was sure the Xian Family would intervene. That would give him a chance to gauge their strength.
In Joe Di's eyes, this woman could probably defeat an ordinary Prime Realm cultivator. It was just a gut feeling, with no reason behind it.
What surprised Joe Di was that Cynthia Xing remained calm and unruffled, seemingly unconcerned by his appraisal and head-shaking. She merely locked him in her domain and stared at him. She realized that Quinn Fang hadn't left because of her, but because Joe Di had appeared.
"I don't even know you! I'm a guest of the Xian Family, why are you blocking my way?" Joe Di said, raising his golden invitation.
Cynthia Xing replied coldly, "You have three breaths."
Joe Di didn't even wait a breath. He immediately drew the Azure Veil Blade from his back and shouted, "Who are you? Why are you trying to seize me and my friend?"
He didn't believe that even after he revealed his weapon, the Xian Family wouldn't intervene.
Seeing Joe Di's action, a flash of anger flickered in Cynthia Xing's eyes as her Genesis Realm domain surged. But before she could act, a gentle voice interrupted, "Fellow Daoists, you have come a long way to visit my Xian Family as guests. Please, for our sake, do not fight here."
A faint cultivator's pressure swept over them, and Joe Di immediately sensed the strength of the newcomer. Though he hadn't seen the speaker yet, he could feel it from the aura alone.
Before this, the strongest people Joe Di had met were Nora and Jude Wan. Now, he was sure this person was at least their equal.
Cynthia Xing sensed it too. She frowned slightly, then relaxed and slowly withdrew her domain.
"Daoist Di, I didn't expect you to really come! Hahaha..." At that moment, Cason Xian, who had brought Joe Di here, rushed out from inside.

Joe Di laughed, "Of course! Since you invited me from afar, I hurried over as soon as my business was done."
Cason Xian beamed, "Daoist Di, please come in, please come in..."
"I was invited too." To Joe Di's surprise, Cynthia Xing also produced an invitation—hers was even higher tier than his, a purple-gold one.
Cason Xian hurriedly said, "Everyone here is a guest of the Xian Family. Please, come in, come in..."
This time, before Cason Xian could say more, another female cultivator from the Xian Family came out and respectfully led Cynthia Xing inside.
After Cynthia Xing left, Cason Xian said, "Daoist Di, I only had golden invitations at the time. I didn't mean to slight you! Since you're here, I'll make sure you have the best place to rest."
He'd long since concluded that Joe Di was no ordinary person.
Joe Di wasn't bothered; he figured Cason Xian would say the same to anyone else.
Still, Cason Xian wasn't just making empty promises. He arranged a small courtyard cave-dwelling for Joe Di and Quinn Fang. Even if the spiritual energy wasn't remarkable, at least it was very quiet.
Once Cason Xian left, Quinn Fang said anxiously, "Big Brother, Cynthia Xing seems pretty important."
"Don't worry about her. That invitation was probably stolen. I bet she'll sneak back here soon—I'll give her a real surprise then." Seeing Cynthia Xing's invitation, Joe Di realized Quinn Fang had probably picked the wrong place to hide.
Cynthia Xing probably wouldn't have found Quinn Fang if he hadn't come to Xianhai. But she came to Xianhai too, and they ran into each other. Cynthia Xing's goal might be the same as his—to get Extreme Glaze Silver and then head to the Chaos Realm.
Joe Di figured Cynthia Xing wouldn't let things go. She'd definitely sneak back here soon, since she didn't take him or Quinn Fang seriously.
(That's all for today's update—good night, everyone!)
