Each One More Ruthless Than the Last

The students stared, jaws dropping. Whoa, she split that thick tree with a single slap! If that landed on a person, they’d be reporting straight to the King of Hell!

The way everyone looked at Professor Lola now—gone was the flirty curiosity about pretty women, replaced by pure awe and respect.

Lola dusted off her hands lightly, faced the crowd, and delivered her trademark style: ruthless, few words. "I’m not like Professor Evans, who loves talking sense. I’m not big on speeches—if I can use my hands, I won’t waste time yapping."

Sweat started beading on the students’ foreheads as they sucked in a cold breath. Both of these female professors? Absolutely terrifying!

Professor Evans isn’t one for soft-heartedness either. If you dare defy or disrespect your teacher, you’re expelled—no bargaining. But Professor Lola? She’s even scarier. She might just send you straight to the afterlife with a single slap...

Professor Evans said coldly, "Leave them up there until evening. Let them learn a lesson. Disrespectful students need to suffer to remember."

Professor Lola nodded in agreement. "Alright, we'll let them down when we return to the Prince of Qin's Manor in the afternoon."

Just as they entered the courtyard, Martin Wu burst out, overjoyed: "Wow! Professor Evans, Professor Lola, you’re both women!"

That "otherwise"—why did it sound like she was grinding her teeth, ready to bite someone’s head off?

The students nodded so fast it looked like they were pecking rice, obedient as chicks. "Yes, yes, yes! We wouldn’t dare daydream—study hard! Live long!"

Then they hurried off, terrified of messing up again and being made an example of by those two professors.

Professor Evans and Lola watched their students march off to class, thoroughly pleased. "Not bad, not bad. These kids are teachable."

With that, the two of them headed off toward their little courtyard.

As they walked away, the students still hanging from the tree were scared witless, pleading, "Professor Lola, please let us down! We’ll leave, we’ll pack our things and get out of here—promise!"

But Professor Evans and Lola acted like they hadn’t heard a thing, not even glancing back.

Professor Evans said coldly, "Leave them up there until evening. Let them learn a lesson. Disrespectful students need to suffer to remember."

Professor Lola nodded. "Alright, we'll let them down when we return to the Prince of Qin's Manor in the afternoon."

Just as they entered the courtyard, Martin Wu burst out, overjoyed: "Wow! Professor Evans, Professor Lola, you’re both women!"

Martin Wu grinned so wide her eyes disappeared. "I passed the teacher selection exam! I’m officially a professor at Phoenix Academy!"

Professor Lola gave her a rare smile. "Not bad, rookie! You’re moving up in the world."

Professor Evans smiled too, her eyes sparkling. "Congratulations, Professor Wu. You’ve earned it."

Martin Wu puffed out her chest, feeling ten feet tall. "Thank you, professors! I’ll work hard and make you proud!"

Professor Lola nodded. "Good. Just remember—don’t slack off, or you’ll be the first I hang from that tree."

Martin Wu shivered, but her grin never faded. "Yes, ma’am!"
