Human Territory

As a Stellar Palace-tier existence, Dan Xuchun could hardly find anyone in the Chenriver Empire to speak with as an equal. But Andrew was different—his talent all but guaranteed he would reach Stellar Palace, and perhaps even Void Rift would not be his limit.

Clearly, this was a once-in-a-millennium cultivation genius.

Night had fallen over all of Yunhai City. Clad in a casual vest, Andrew Han cradled Lucy's clothes, his pupils shrinking to needle points. In his heart, there was no room for mockery—only intense vigilance and tension. The universe was unimaginably harsh, and survival of the fittest was the norm—only power mattered.

The terrifying arrival happened in a flash—Bailey didn’t even have time to warn him! But when it came to Human geniuses, no one dared to harm them.

In other words—peace and order came from the strictest of laws—the Supreme Human Law!

The warp craft had just arrived at blue Earth, and this weathered youth had already crossed outer space, locating Andrew above Yunhai in barely more than a second. This was the real reason Andrew’s mind couldn’t settle. Dan Xuchun didn’t explain in detail, but simply reassured Andrew: cultivation geniuses were protected by Supreme Law, and few would risk targeting someone so famous.

Such power, such terror—absolutely unfathomable! Both Universal Code and Supreme Law stood above the Chenriver Empire.

Even if he pushed his soul perception to the limit, it would only cover a few thousand kilometers—there was no way to sense all of Earth.

“Wait!”

“Dan Xuchun, sir?” Only now did Andrew react, blinking in astonishment at the gray-haired, white-horned youth—Dan Xuchun.

Earlier, he’d contacted Monica Whitehorn a couple of times and learned that the ancestral patriarch of her White-Horn line was about to arrive on blue Earth.

"Yes, it’s me. Don’t be nervous."

Dan Xuchun grinned and nodded, then crossed a thousand meters in a single step to stand before Andrew.

Below, Yunhai City blazed with lights. A stifling breeze swept the high sky. Andrew’s expression was wary and uncertain: “No, you’re not Dan Xuchun. What are you pretending to be him for? What’s your real motive?”

“What do you mean, pretending?” Dan Xuchun touched his white horn. “I am Dan Xuchun—how could I not be? Relax, Andrew, there’s no need to be tense.”

As his words faded—

Dan Xuchun flashed a knowing, mysterious smile. “Liking little girls isn’t against the law. Among starry sky powerhouses, there are all sorts—plenty with a taste for children... So I understand all your concerns. This little quirk is nothing; I won’t spread it around.”

As everyone knows, the Universal Human Code circulates throughout the cosmos.

The Universal Human Code applies to all life at or above the Starlight Tier. It’s simple, with only three rules:

First: Without special cause, large-scale slaughter of one’s own race is forbidden. (The standard is an entire star system.)

Second: Colluding with other races or leaking Human secrets is strictly prohibited.

Third: Always obey the above two rules.

Though the third rule seems a bit strange, Dan Xuchun understood its meaning... Even after reincarnation or body-snatching, if one is no longer Human, these two rules must still be upheld.

“Oh, right.”

Dan Xuchun opened his palm and handed Andrew a white sphere. “This is a gift from our White-Horn Human Clan—a symbol of goodwill and friendship.”

Yet Andrew’s eyes remained wary. “You’re also White-Horn Human Clan—why impersonate Dan Xuchun? Do you really think I’m some clueless native?”

“What do you mean?” This time, Dan Xuchun was genuinely taken aback.

A moment of silence passed.

Seeing that the supposed Dan Xuchun showed no signs of aggression, Andrew said in a low voice, “Monica Whitehorn from your clan showed me your photo.”

“Oh!”

The universe was unimaginably harsh, and survival of the fittest was the norm—only power mattered.

But when it came to Human geniuses, no one dared to harm them.

Peace and order came from the strictest of laws—the Supreme Human Law!

Dan Xuchun didn’t explain in detail, but simply reassured Andrew: cultivation geniuses were protected by Supreme Law, and few would risk targeting someone so famous.

Both Universal Code and Supreme Law stood above the Chenriver Empire.

Whether Stellar Palace or Void Rift Tier, even the ruler of the empire would be judged if they violated Universal Code or Supreme Law... To harm a genius means clan execution; in severe cases, it could mean extermination of every blood-relative life across the cosmos.

"You understand now, so you can rest easy." Dan Xuchun looked Andrew over with a cheerful smile. "As long as you don't violate the Universal Human Code or Supreme Human Law, no one will trouble or threaten you."

"Understood."

Andrew finally breathed a sigh of relief.

He reflected inwardly:

All this time, I worried someone would covet or suspect me, but the cosmic Human Race already thought of this and had the resolve to offer such a solution... From Dan Xuchun’s words, Supreme Human Law only restricts deliberate targeting, but that’s enough.

From what I can see, the cosmic Human Race truly is powerful.

Otherwise, such absolute regulations... would never work on Earth. Human greed and desire are hard to restrain—the case of Mr. Stone in Riverdale’s martial world is proof.

After a brief pause, Andrew looked up and asked directly, "Dan Xuchun, what does Chenriver Palace truly involve? Why do you all want me to join so badly?"

Faced with this question, Dan Xuchun just smiled.

He didn’t answer directly, but patted Andrew’s shoulder and gestured to the starry night, where countless stars blanketed the sky: "The cosmos is far vaster than what Earth can observe."

Andrew listened quietly.

Dan Xuchun’s white horn glowed gently, his tone friendly: "The cosmic nations are just the smallest, lowest-level divisions... In this known universe, there are four Great Life Races, and beneath them countless other races—either serving the Four Greats or hiding in remote regions."

"We Humans—one of the Four Great Life Races!"

Aside from Humans, the other three are the Light Clan, the Shenro Clan, and the Nether Clan!

Andrew nodded—these basics, Monica Whitehorn had already explained.

The starlight-grade Lu Hui sealed in Antarctica was Nether Clan, while the behemoth in the Arctic belonged to the Starry Demon race—by Monica’s classification, a secondary life race.

Dan Xuchun continued, "Long ago, only two Great Life Races existed; the Humans and the Light Clan are the newly risen powers at the very top."

Andrew was startled—he hadn’t known this.

Dan Xuchun smiled, "The Light Clan is the oldest, but the Humans have only recently ascended to the top. The territory of each Great Race is vast, and the more territory you control, the stronger you are. Conflict is constant—the weak are devoured by the strong."

Andrew Han listened, his heart growing heavier.

Dan Xuchun continued, "The Chenriver Empire is just one of many cosmic nations, and Chenriver Palace is one of the highest-level organizations in the empire. Above it is the cosmic Human Race itself, and above that—the Supreme Human Law."
