If that girl ever found out that the person who made her heart race was actually another girl, she'd probably be heartbroken, wouldn't she?
Hmm, stuff like this isn't even news at St. Dia Academy anymore.
But everyone already knew from the start that Yina Yin was a girl.
I wonder how Xinlan Wu will react to this?
After dropping Yina Yin off at class, Cherry Miller didn’t have much to do for now.
Yina’s classes lasted all morning without a break, so Cherry could take care of her own things.
Cherry was about to head back to her mom’s dorm to see if she could help tidy up, when Yicheng Chen called: “Cherry, I passed my interview today! Want to grab a meal and celebrate?”
Cherry remembered what she promised her mom last night, so she replied, “Sure, I’m free. Let’s meet at the restaurant in a bit.”
“Great, I’ve booked a table. I’ll text you the details.” Yicheng was over the moon when Cherry agreed to go.
After hanging up, he rushed to shower, sprayed on some cologne, and ordered roses and reserved the restaurant.
He was officially ready for his date with Cherry.
Cherry didn’t dress up much—just a simple cream dress and the latest designer purse.
As soon as Cherry walked into the restaurant, she felt the atmosphere was odd.
Why was everyone giving her strange looks?
What was going on?
Was there something wrong with her outfit today?
Cherry looked herself over again and again—nope, nothing wrong.
Just then, Yicheng’s voice called out from afar: “Cherry, you’re here! Sorry I’m a little late!”
Cherry looked up and was instantly engulfed by a huge bouquet of red roses.
Red roses. Zero.
Finally, Cherry Miller realized why everyone in the restaurant was staring at her!
"This is for you." Eric Chen handed Cherry a large bouquet of roses.
Cherry's expression froze for a moment, then she said, "Thank you."
The restaurant staff quickly led them to their reserved table.
Holding such a huge bouquet of roses, Cherry felt a little embarrassed by all the looks she was getting.
They’re obviously not a couple, yet she had to put up with this awkward atmosphere.
Cherry could feel her patience wearing thin, little by little.
Once they were seated, Cherry set the roses down on the chair beside her and asked, "So, what do you feel like eating today? My treat."
"How could I let a lady pay? Especially such a lovely lady." Eric Chen replied with a warm smile.
Cherry was dressed simply today, and the more Eric looked at her, the more satisfied he felt.
Cherry just wanted to finish this meal quickly, so she didn’t argue with him. She nodded and said, "Alright, I won’t stand on ceremony then."
"No need to be polite! Order whatever you like!" Eric Chen handed the menu to Cherry.
Cherry flipped through the menu carelessly, picked a few dishes at random, then handed it back to Eric Chen.
Eric Chen glanced at the prices of those dishes and his eyelid twitched.
He hadn’t expected the food at this restaurant to be so expensive.
But then he thought, if spending a little money could win over such a classy woman, it was worth the investment.
Eric Chen ordered two more dishes and handed the menu to the waiter. "That’s all, thanks."
Cherry kept watching Eric Chen’s face, catching every little change in his expression.
None of Eric Chen’s subtle looks escaped Cherry’s notice.
Cherry cleared her throat and asked, "Eric, my mom said you’ve been studying abroad all this time. Which country were you in?"
