Inside the bedroom.
Andrew Han glanced at his phone as he quietly played with his younger sister, Lucy Han. Their mother, Linda Chen, was napping in the other bedroom.
It was silent.
Other than the faint sound of car horns from outside the neighborhood, there was hardly any noise. Living on the fourth floor added to the tranquil atmosphere.
Suddenly, his phone began to vibrate repeatedly.
To avoid disturbing his mother's nap, Andrew had set his phone to vibrate beforehand. Otherwise, the ringtone would have already echoed through the room. He answered, "Hello?"
A deep, respectful voice sounded from the phone: "Hello, is this Mr. Andrew Han?"
Andrew replied, "Yes."
The voice continued, "Hello, Mr. Han. My name is Vincent Wen. By order of Sir Newman, I am responsible for guiding you through Riverdale's antique relics during this period—including but not limited to antique markets, museums, and private collections. May I ask if you will be available later today?"
Andrew glanced at Lucy Han, who was rolling around on the bed. "Come by in two hours," he said.
"Alright," Vincent Wen replied. "Just to let you know in advance, this afternoon's visit will be to a private collection owned by a wealthy individual."
"Okay."
Andrew Han responded twice, then hung up the phone.
Only after confirming with his master, Sir Newman, on WeChat did Andrew Han put down his phone and start packing his backpack, preparing for the visit to the collection.
Since he was pretending to be someone interested in antiques, he needed to be well-prepared.
For example, he packed two notebooks in his bag. During the visit—or more precisely, during his downtime while absorbing Graywhite Aura—he could jot down notes to make himself look the part.
"Brother?"
Lucy knelt on the big bed, tilting her head curiously as she watched Andrew pack his things.
Her sparkling eyes were like black pearls, bright and lively. Thanks to their mother Linda Chen's care, Lucy Han's eyelashes were long and curled, making her look adorably cute.
Rustle.
