Phoenix Man in the Youth Voyage Bar

"That class monitor, Leo Li, has been clinging to Stella like dogskin plaster ever since freshman year—she can't shake him off. Now it's senior year and he's getting even worse. He's always scheming ways to talk to Stella and has even tried to force a kiss a few times. Honestly, he's super disgusting."

Irene Xu brought up Stella’s class monitor, her face full of contempt and disdain—clearly, she couldn’t stand him at all.

"And get this—Leo Li is from the countryside and has a younger brother. He’s broke, but that’s not the worst part. He shamelessly wants Stella to marry him after graduation, buy him a house in Capitalview, and even bring his parents over to live with them. The guy’s brain is seriously messed up."

As she spoke, Irene Xu was clearly furious, practically shaking with anger.

Stella Huang quickly cut her off, a little embarrassed, then looked apologetically at Evan Lin: "They said everyone has to bring a date to this get-together. I don’t have anyone else, so I wanted to ask if you’re free."

"If it’s inconvenient, just forget it."

Before Stella even finished, Irene Xu was already nodding eagerly: "Of course it’s convenient! Evan can go straight in and beat the crap out of that loser class monitor of yours—teach him a lesson so he never dares harass you again!"

Irene Xu had full confidence in Evan Lin.

While Stella was still stunned, Evan Lin nodded, "I don’t have anything going on right now. I can go with you and check it out."

Hearing Evan say that, Stella finally relaxed and nodded back at him. "Thanks so much!"
