White Hair Fluttering

Ten minutes—Mason Shang crippled.

The method was direct, bloody, and ferocious!

Gavin Duan's brute strength was far greater than Evan Lin had expected—even more so since he hadn't used any of the arrays Evan Lin had empowered him with.

He relied purely on physical strength to withstand the attacks of Mason Shang, a fifth-grade Pointing-to-Mystery expert!

He relied purely on physical strength to withstand the attacks of Mason Shang, a fifth-grade Pointing-to-Mystery expert!

Blood still streamed from the broken joints, and Mason Shang's curled-up body was especially miserable from the agony.

Everyone outside the hall was stunned, their legs trembling and faces pale.

Now, as the crowd looked at the young man standing in the hall—who had just spoken three acts of justice—there was no trace of ridicule or contempt left in their eyes.

Just Gavin Duan's call of 'Young Lord,' just the scene just now, just the youth's upright posture and calm face, just the way he stood with hands behind his back, radiating utter indifference—all of it was enough to make hearts feel awe as if facing a towering mountain.

"Mason Shang!"

Helena Meng still couldn't believe it. She stood up, staggered over to Mason Shang, and reached out with trembling hands to try and help him.

"So you're just throwing your own dog out the door?"

Evan Lin didn't sit down, his tone faint: "At least you've raised this dog for many years."

"Little friend, impressive methods."

Fourth Elder Rowe sat there, silently watching the scene. After his initial shock and anger faded, he grew calm. Looking at Lin Yi again, his gaze now carried both caution and seriousness: "Now that Mason Shang is a cripple, he's not worth mentioning. The justice you sought tonight, I assume you've already gotten it."

"Now, Mason Shang, Helena Meng, Maya Meng—whatever grievances you have with them, feel free to settle. I can guarantee that afterward, neither the Shang family nor the Rowe clan will pursue the matter. How about it?"

The young man standing before him—his master could kill Brandon Rowe, a third-grade Pointing-to-Mystery expert, and the one sent to protect him was a man with no visible qi, yet who could kill Mason Shang with a single punch.

Fourth Elder Rowe made a polite gesture, inviting Evan to sit.

He concluded that Gavin Duan must possess some special body-tempering method, and that his existence was much like the four fist slaves behind Fourth Elder Rowe.

Hearing Fourth Elder Rowe's words, Mason Shang, his face twisted in pain, squeezed out the words through clenched teeth, his expression instantly shifting to terror.

Even so, Fourth Elder Rowe still couldn't determine whether Gavin Duan or his four fist slaves behind him were stronger.

"So you're just throwing your own dog out the door?"

Lin Yi didn't sit down, his tone faint: "At least you've raised this dog for many years."

"A dog that's lost its claws and fangs is useless. Our Rowe clan never keeps idle cripples. Besides, I think we can have a serious discussion."

Fourth Elder Rowe spoke sincerely, not rushing to make a move this time.

"I've claimed two out of three acts of justice. When I collect the third, if you're still alive to sit, then we can talk."

Evan Lin shook his head.

Such methods forced Fourth Elder Rowe to be cautious and weigh the pros and cons.

He concluded that Gavin Duan must possess some special body-tempering method, and that his existence was much like the four fist slaves behind Fourth Elder Rowe.

The difference was, the fist slaves weren't just forged with potions and cultivation techniques, but also trained meticulously within the ancient martial Rowe clan.

Even so, Fourth Elder Rowe still couldn't determine whether Gavin Duan or his four fist slaves behind him were stronger.

Fourth Elder Rowe spoke lightly, but to everyone else in the hall, his words thundered like a storm.

Some people had already begun thinking about how to approach the young man in front of them and build connections.

Those outside the hall were even more eager, their gazes burning.

A boundless future had just landed on the youth's head.

"I've claimed two out of three pieces of justice. When I collect the third, if you're still alive to sit, then we can talk."

Lin Yi shook his head.

Evan Lin didn't speak, Gavin Duan didn't move, and everyone watched Helena Meng, then looked at Old Man Liu sitting in the chair, eyes closed, tears streaming down his face.

"Brother Liu! Are you really so heartless as to let your student push me into hell?"

Old Man Liu wiped his eyes, took a deep breath. "I've never been a qualified teacher—not only am I powerless, but my own recklessness once dragged my student into danger."

"But I must shoulder the responsibility of reviving the Meng family—it's something I was born into, and I have to do it. If you hate me, just hit or scold me; I promise I won't fight back!"

"Brother Liu, I can promise you this: if you speak up and ask your student to show mercy, tonight... tonight, I can keep you company!"

Helena Meng's voice was mournful, each word deliberate, tears glimmering in her eyes. Every 'Brother Liu' she called tugged at the hearts of many onlookers.

Old Man Liu saw Helena Meng's pitiful look and felt a pang of pain while sitting there.

"Brother Liu!"

Evan Lin turned around and looked at Old Man Liu.

The Shang family was nothing in the Rowe clan's eyes—let alone the Meng family.

Lin Yi didn't speak, Gavin Duan didn't move, and everyone watched Helena Meng, then looked at Old Man Liu sitting in the chair, eyes closed, tears streaming down his face.

Two streams of tears slid down his cheeks—right now, the old man's emotions were extremely complicated.

Old Man Liu wiped his eyes, took a deep breath. "I've never been a qualified teacher—not only am I powerless, but my own recklessness once dragged my student into danger."

Fortunately, he has his own ambition. If he didn't, he might have ended up like you—forced to kneel.

"Brother Liu, I can promise you this: if you speak up and ask your student to show mercy, tonight... tonight, I can keep you company!"

"Good and evil always have their recompense; Heaven has its conscience. Our fate is finished. From now on, whatever he does to you, I won't interfere."

After finishing his words, Old Man Liu turned to look at Evan Lin: "Evan Lin."

With eyes closed, Old Man Liu wiped his tears and spoke with difficulty, his voice bitter: "Stop talking."

Evan Lin turned around and looked at Old Man Liu.

Helena Meng was delighted by his words. Her thoughts shifted: the Meng family's future couldn't rely on Mason Shang anymore, but if she followed Old Man Liu, perhaps his student could help lift the Meng family.

Old Man Liu rose, bowed deeply to Evan Lin, his white hair disheveled and gently fluttering.

"Xiuxiang, this is the last time I'll call you that."

Old Man Liu wiped his eyes, took a deep breath: "I haven't been a qualified teacher—not only am I incapable, but my own recklessness has put my student in danger."

"Fortunately, he has his own ambition. If he didn't, he might have ended up like you—forced to kneel."

"I'm just an old man, useless now. Since I'm of no use, I can't hold my student back at this critical moment."

"Good and evil will be repaid; heaven has its own conscience. Our fate ends here. From now on, no matter what he does to you, I won't intervene."

After finishing his words, Old Man Liu turned to look at Lin Yi: "Lin Yi."

"Teacher."

Lin Yi turned around and looked at Old Man Liu.

"Thank you, teacher."

Old Man Liu stood up and bowed to Lin Yi, his white hair disheveled, drifting gently.
