Master of Trirobe Sanctuary

12/19/2025

Trirobe Sanctuary does not have a City Lord's mansion; it only has the Trirobe Dao Hall.

The hall master of the Trirobe Dao Hall is neither a cultivator of the Cloud Clan nor the Divine Clan, but rather of the Redlin Clan. In this realm, the Divine Clan and Cloud Clan are both powerful, and so is the Redlin Clan.

Back when Trirobe Sanctuary was still a barren wasteland, Ruben Redlin of the Redlin Clan came here and discovered it was an excellent place. At that time, Ruben was still lingering at the Third Step, but he immediately spent tens of thousands of years building the prototype of Trirobe Sanctuary.

In the beginning, Trirobe Sanctuary was just a market town. Because it was close to the wild edge of the universe, no powerful cultivator coveted it.

But as Trirobe Sanctuary grew ever more prosperous, many powerful beings set their sights on it. Just then, Ruben Redlin achieved sainthood and stepped into the Fourth Step.

Not long after Ruben entered the Fourth Step, several Demon Clan powerhouses arrived, intending to seize Trirobe Sanctuary, but were all slain by Ruben. When the top Demon Clan experts came for revenge, Ruben revealed his origins—the Redlin Clan.

Although the Demon Clan was formidable, they did not dare challenge the Redlin Clan, especially since rumors held that Ruben Redlin had high status within the Redlin Clan.

The Demon Clan swallowed their resentment, while Ruben Redlin’s power only grew, and Trirobe Sanctuary became ever more thriving. If not for the lack of treasures in the cosmic wilds lately, and the absence of another saint in the area, this place would be even more prosperous.

Although the Trirobe Dao Hall is called a hall, aside from Ruben Redlin, no one else can enter. It is also Ruben’s cultivation ground.

Year after year, Ruben Redlin remains in seclusion within the Trirobe Dao Hall, cultivating and seeking enlightenment. He rarely pauses his cultivation.

But at this moment, Ruben Redlin opened his eyes, frowning slightly. Lately, he had felt a sense of unrest in his heart.

Ever since he achieved sainthood and stepped into the Fourth Step, his strength had increased greatly, but in Ruben’s view, this progress was still far too slow.

It seemed that if he wanted to reach the Fifth Step, staying in the Trirobe Dao Hall would not suffice; he should return to the Redlin Clan. Just like when he was unable to establish his edict, he left the Redlin Clan and came here to found Trirobe Sanctuary, eventually achieving sainthood here.

Such is opportunity. If he had always stayed in Trirobe Sanctuary, where would opportunity come from?

Ruben was a man of decisive action. Once he thought of something, he did it. After opening the Guardian Array, nearly a hundred message swords were lined up outside the barrier.

Normally, when he was in seclusion, no one was allowed to disturb him. All message swords had to remain outside the Guardian Array.

With a wave of Ruben’s hand, the hundred swords orderly arranged themselves before him. Most of the messages were invitations to gatherings or events.

Someone in the Redlin Clan has reached the Fifth Step and become a Quintessence Saint? Ruben grabbed one of the swords, and it landed in his hand. The Fifth Step is rare throughout the universe; it is rumored the Redlin Clan had one Quintessence Saint, but no one had ever seen them.

Now, another has reached the Fifth Step, attaining the Dao of Quintessence Saint. This was an invitation for him to return to the Redlin Clan to attend the Fifth Step Grand Dao Ceremony.

He absolutely had to go. The Fifth Step, Quintessence Saint—this was the realm he had pursued for so many years. Yet after all this time, he had not even truly mastered the Fourth Step; he was still lingering at its threshold.

Ruben Redlin put away the sword, then suddenly exclaimed in surprise and reached for another.

This sword seemed to have just arrived, no more than a day ago. He recognized the sender: Eugene Zhi, the God Court Lord of the Grand Yin Divine Court, of the Human Clan.

Eugene Zhi was an outstanding figure of the Human Clan and a God Court Lord. More importantly, he and Ruben shared something in common: both became Edict Saints and entered the Fourth Step in the wild cosmic frontier. Throughout countless years, only Ruben and Eugene Zhi had achieved sainthood in the wilds.

The message on Eugene Zhi’s sword left Ruben speechless—a daughter of an Edict Saint had actually been killed at the edge of the wilds.

However, Eugene Zhi had not captured a clear image of Luna Zhi’s killer, only a vague outline. The transmission sword displayed the image, but it was extremely blurry, showing just a silhouette from behind.

Eugene Zhi was seeking Ruben’s help. According to Eugene, the cultivator who killed his daughter likely had no idea of her background.

That was understandable. If anyone knew Luna Zhi’s identity, none would dare kill her. To slay the daughter of an Edict Saint was to court death.

According to Eugene Zhi’s deduction, the cultivator who killed his daughter would likely come to Trirobe Sanctuary within a few years. Eugene was unsure when exactly, as he did not know the person’s speed. At the fastest, it would take half a year.

Eugene’s message was a request for Ruben to keep an eye out for any unfamiliar cultivators arriving in Trirobe Sanctuary. If Ruben discovered someone resembling the blurry silhouette, he was asked to intervene and stop them.

Ruben casually tossed the sword into his ring. Though he and Eugene Zhi had some friendship, he had no intention of wasting time watching for Luna Zhi’s killer. He was about to leave for the Redlin Clan to attend their Fifth Step Quintessence Saint Grand Dao Ceremony.

Wait... Ruben suddenly took out the sword again. Sure enough, he saw a hidden voice transmission on its back. If he weren’t an Edict Saint, he probably wouldn’t have noticed it.

A trace of saintly Dao resonance touched the transmission restriction, and Ruben immediately heard Eugene Zhi’s clear voice: “Brother Ru, I beg your help in my daughter’s murder. I suspect the cultivator who killed her did so for a Cosmic Dao Vein, because I sensed her obsession in her Soul Jade Token. If you obtain a Cosmic Dao Vein from this person, I don’t want it—I only want revenge for my daughter...”

Cosmic Dao Vein? Ruben’s heart skipped a beat.

If he had a Cosmic Dao Vein, perhaps he could soon perfect the Fourth Step, making the breakthrough to the Fifth Step much easier.

No, if he obtained a Cosmic Dao Vein, he absolutely couldn’t use it himself. If he brought one to the Redlin Clan’s Fifth Step Grand Dao Ceremony, the rewards would be far greater. Not only would he gain the resources needed for the Fourth Step, but his status in the Redlin Clan would rise, and he might even receive guidance from a Fifth Step Quintessence Saint.

The thought of discussing the Dao with a Fifth Step Quintessence Saint, and possibly receiving their guidance, made Ruben excited.

Listening to a Fifth Step Quintessence Saint discuss the Dao was every Fourth Step Edict Saint’s dream. What Ruben hadn’t cared about before now became his top priority.

Although, according to Eugene Zhi’s calculations, the cultivator who killed his daughter would not arrive in Trirobe Sanctuary for at least half a year, Ruben decided to take the initiative.

Eugene’s prediction was only a guess; in other words, the cultivator might not come to Trirobe Sanctuary at all.

......

As Joe Di entered Trirobe Sanctuary, he immediately noticed how different it was from ordinary cultivation cities. Everything in the shops on either side could be scanned with divine sense.

If something caught your eye, you could enter the shop to take a closer look.

Joe Di stopped in front of a White Jade Tower, his divine sense sweeping the upper floor and finding an item. It appeared to be a milky-white stone, but Joe Di had never seen its like. Yet as soon as his divine sense touched it, his Cosmic Flame grew restless.

Ever since his Cosmic Flame devoured the Taiyin Heart and Sun Heart Nirvana Sacred Flame, even the Chaos Flame Mother Crystal could not help it advance; it had remained at the sacred flame level ever since. Now, discovering something that could help it advance, Joe Di would not let the opportunity slip by.

As Joe Di stepped into the White Jade Tower, a fair-skinned, tall cultivator suddenly stopped, frowning at the spot where Joe Di had disappeared. This was Ruben Redlin, who had just left the Trirobe Dao Hall.

After a moment, wild joy flashed in Ruben’s eyes—Joe Di’s silhouette looked very much like the blurry figure on Eugene Zhi’s transmission sword.

Whether he was or not, Ruben strode toward the White Jade Tower in a single step. As for why Joe Di had arrived so quickly, Ruben didn’t care; what mattered was confirming whether Joe Di was the one he sought.

(That’s all for today’s update. Good night, friends!)
