Smashing a Trial World in Someone’s Face

2/14/2026

Evan Chu stood in his own Chaos Trial World, feeling utterly content. This was his true home—here, he finally belonged.

With his mind fully relaxed, Evan split his Nine Element Law Avatars, scattering them across the world. Each avatar became a spatial pillar, stabilizing and reinforcing the freshly formed world-space.

This place overflowed with power—breaking through here was worth several times more than outside. Of course, every new powerhouse consumed a hefty chunk of the world’s energy.

Take now, for example: among his many beautiful wives, the ones with sharper insight—Roxanne Lin, Yvonne Xuan, Serena Hua, and a few others—had already reached early Saint Venerable Realm. When they broke through, half the energy in this space was sucked away at once.

The loss of so much power meant it would take three years to recover. Evan could only sigh—there was no stopping them, but that was the whole point of creating this world: to benefit his people.

Soon, more and more people broke through, and the world’s power kept draining away. The Elemental Spirit Pearl, Chaos Spirit, Geocore Soul Mother, and Sea-Eye Spirit Spring—who’d been so happy at first—weren’t smiling anymore.

They were fused with the world too: when the world was strong and saturated with power, they gained endlessly. But when power started running low, they had to work hard to generate more, or else if the world dried up completely, everyone would be doomed.

Evan found this phenomenon pretty vexing too. He asked the Geocore Soul Mother, "How do I fix this flaw for good? I don’t believe other Trial Worlds have the same problem."

"Fix it completely? That’s not going to be easy."

The Geocore Soul Mother shot down the idea right away.

"Although the Chaos Trial World now looks identical to other Trial Worlds, with no obvious differences—and thanks to fusing the Seven-Facet Star Core’s origin spirit, it’s already on the same tier as some Sacred-grade Trial Worlds—

but no matter how high the world’s grade, its controller is still weak. Right now, all the power here comes from just a few of us and your own stars.

That’s a huge difference compared to other Trial Worlds."

"Oh? What specifically?"

"Well... honestly, I’m not totally sure either. My life level isn’t nearly high enough, so there are some cosmic secrets I just can’t grasp. But my guess is your Chaos World lacks true Heavenly Dao law constraints, so it can’t automatically absorb energy from the Star-River Dominion.

Relying on you is just a drop in the bucket—right now, even a handful of breakthroughs is too much to supply. If you ever really try to create an entire race, the energy drain will be absolutely insane!"

Evan groaned. "Heavenly Dao law power? I don’t get that stuff at all!"

"That’s why, with your current cultivation, you don’t need to worry about it. Just take things one step at a time. The law-power of Trial Worlds is split off from the Star-River Universe. Honestly, even if you get the chance later, I suggest you don’t try setting up a law system in your Chaos World..."

"You mean, if I do what Mason Mansfield did and build a Trial World based on the ancient Star-River law system, then even if I’m still in control, at the root it wouldn’t really belong to me?"

"That’s basically it. I can’t say more—the gap in life level and environment is just too huge. Some things are so far beyond us that unless we keep getting stronger, they’ll always be mysteries we can’t crack."

"Alright, so basically... inside the Chaos World, only laws that belong to me, Evan Chu, can exist? Is that it?"

"Maybe so."

The Geocore Soul Mother didn’t say much more—there was a lot she just couldn’t understand.

Evan scratched his head, just as lost as ever.

"Whatever! Forget it! I’ll just stick to my path and keep getting stronger!"

Evan was about to leave the Chaos Trial World, but before he could move, a thunderous boom erupted from deep beneath an icy mountain range.

Boom!

A few of the little fish Evan created were instantly wiped out, which made his heart ache! What was going on? Furious, Evan cursed out loud—this was his world, after all! Who the hell was causing such a mess?

But before he could finish cursing, Lynton Chu burst out laughing. "Hahaha! That felt amazing! Absolutely amazing!"

"Huh? It’s you, kid?"

"Big bro! I broke through!"

"Oh... don't make such a fuss... Wait!"

Evan's eyes widened—he really broke through? So right now, Lynton Chu is... late-stage Saint Venerable?!

Evan was speechless, feeling deeply unfair! Why was Lynton's breakthrough even faster than his own? Especially since all of Lynton's Star-soul Power had to be gathered by Evan himself! But soon Evan noticed that Lynton now had an aura identical to the Star Core Spirit.

So, this kid is actually the so-called Chaos World's origin spirit—he's fully absorbed the Star Core's origin spirit! In other words, Lynton Chu is now the source of all power in the Chaos World!

"Uh..."

"This is great, big bro! I feel full of power now, and my body is already fused with the Chaos World's mountains and rivers. Even though you can't use Space Domain for battle anymore, there's a new way to boost your strength!"

"What way?"

"Heh... As soon as you move, big bro, the Star-soul Power in my body will explode out, changing my body. I'll transform into something like a Space Domain, and you can use me to fight just like before."

It looks like you're using Space Domain, but really, you're smashing an entire Trial World right into your enemy's face! Tsk tsk... just imagining it feels awesome!

"Uh..."

Evan's eyes widened—no more Space Domain? So is this helping him, or just helping Lynton Chu? And using a Trial World as a weapon... Evan Chu must be the first in the Star-River Dominion, right?

But thinking about it, smashing a Trial World right into someone's face really does sound satisfying!
