Forceful Kill

This finally enraged Evan. He swatted the hidden weapon aside, then crossed the distance in a flash, appearing right in front of Ray Boone. With a heavy punch, he struck Ray, whose face twisted in terror as his body was lifted by the force, drifting briefly before crashing to the ground. Four corpses—Ray Boone and his three henchmen—now lay sprawled in the village square.

Only the braver villagers managed to react, quickly moving the bodies away, while the timid hurried back inside to hide. Tyson, Lily, and the Sun Village Chief stood frozen in shock, staring at Evan.

"All right, Sun Village Chief, it's over now." Evan smiled, reassuring the chief as the last traces of the cultivators' presence faded.

The Sun Village Chief finally snapped out of it, gratitude flooding his face. "Thank you," he said, his voice trembling with emotion.

Evan replied earnestly, "No need to thank me. This is just what I should do."

"Big brother, you're amazing! Can you teach me?" Tyson, deeply shaken by the scene, begged Evan. The display of true power had shattered his old legend of being the village's strongest.

The Sun Village Chief quickly stepped in, trying to smooth things over. "Tyson, you can't just ask like that!" he chided.

Tyson grinned sheepishly at Sun Village Chief. "Grandpa Sun, if big brother teaches me, I can protect the village too!"

Just as Sun Village Chief was about to scold Tyson for being rude, Evan stopped him. "It's fine, Sun Village Chief. I plan to stay here for a few days anyway—might need your help."

"Really? That's wonderful! I'll go tell everyone to prepare some food." Sun Village Chief said excitedly, hurrying off, leaving Tyson looking at Evan with hopeful eyes.

Just as Sun Village Chief was about to scold Tyson for his lack of manners, Evan stopped him.
