Shaken to the Core
When Professor Wu announced she had good news, the students perked right up. Some were practically rubbing their hands with excitement, asking, "Professor Wu, does this mean that since Professor Evans and Professor Lola have revealed they're women, it's inconvenient for them to teach, so you'll be teaching all our classes from now on?"
"If that's the case, that would be wonderful!"
The students were buzzing with excitement. Professor Wu looked at them and suddenly burst out laughing, wagging her finger, "Not at all, not at all! My good news is actually... hahaha!"
Trying hard not to burst out in laughter, Professor Wu turned around and pulled the hairpin from her hair.
Her ink-black hair spilled down like a waterfall. Professor Wu turned back, flashed a dazzling smile, her hair flowing, standing tall and proud—the figure she'd hidden beneath her robes now revealed.
"What I want to tell you is: I'm actually a woman!" Professor Wu grinned mischievously, watching the spectrum of expressions on her students' faces—so many colors, you could open a dye shop!
"Surprised, huh? Hahaha!" Professor Wu couldn't help but laugh out loud. The classroom erupted in groans; the students' worldviews shattered, unable to believe their eyes, their hearts taking a beating.
"Why—Professor Wu is a woman too!?"
"Oh my, I’m sure our academy’s feng shui must be off!"
"Heavens, all three teachers qualified to teach professors at our academy are actually women!"
If anyone ever tells me again that women are naturally foolish, I’ll be the first to argue! If you don’t believe it, come to our academy and see—the smartest ones are all women!
Sigh, I’ll never dare to underestimate women again!
... ...
The students whispered in awe, but with the recent events involving Professor Evans and Professor Lola, their acceptance of female teachers had grown. After learning Professor Wu was also a woman, they quickly adapted, though some of these proud young men felt a little deflated. They’d worked so hard to get into the Royal Academy of Mathematics, thinking themselves geniuses, only to find all their top teachers were women.
Since ancient times, men have been revered and women belittled, but now they had to look up to women. It was a tough pill for some to swallow.
But who could argue with these women? Whether in knowledge, ability, or background, they outshone all these so-called geniuses. Even in martial arts, Professor Lola was the strongest.
If anyone felt resentful, they only had to look up and see those rebellious students who’d been expelled, still hanging from the tree branches, wailing!
So after a brief shock, the students settled down and got back to their lessons.
Professor Wu was not the type of stunning beauty like Professor Evans, but with her thick brows and large eyes, she looked quite androgynous. Otherwise, she couldn’t have disguised herself as a man so easily. The students watched her, gradually accepting the reality.
Professor Wu’s teaching was effective, and after class, she excitedly ran off to report everything to Professor Evans and Professor Lola.
