Grant You the Honor of Suicide
Henry Tuoba stared at him, his face still expressionless.
Boom! The Infernal Manta spewed fire again, but this time, it wasn't aimed at the palace—it was aimed at Yan City.
If that fire landed, nearly half of Yan City would be turned into a sea of flames.
Just then, behind Grace, Evan Xiao suddenly transformed into a streak of dark light, instantly turning into a giant dragon and flying beneath the flames.
The flames fell onto him and instantly vanished without a trace.
Seeing a dragon appear, the Infernal Manta was so terrified it immediately turned to flee.
But the giant dragon chased after it, wrapping its massive body around the beast and dragging it off into the distance.
Zane Wan, injured by the Divine Dragon, desperately protected Grace Wan as they leapt down from midair.
Talk about luck—they just happened to land right at the gates of Loyalty Manor.
On the back of the red-crowned golden eagle in the sky, Grace stared in shock at Evan Xiao's dragon form. When they reached the skies above an uninhabited area, she watched him spray a jet of water at the Infernal Manta.
Its whole body was frozen solid and crashed to the ground with a thud.
Then, the giant dragon flew back, shrinking smaller and smaller as it went.
Finally, it turned into his magical beast form and landed right in Grace's arms.
Grace stared blankly, holding the magical beast, her mind a complete blank.
Magical beast... Evan Xiao... Divine Dragon...
Wait, are they all the same guy?!
So he wasn't the Demon King...
He's from the Divine Race!
The magical beast shimmered with dark light, transforming back into Evan Xiao, who scooped her up and flew straight to the ground, landing right in front of Zane Wan.
Everyone who witnessed his transformation just stared at him, their faces equally stunned and dazed.
"You... you are..." Zane Wan coughed up blood, struggling to ask.
Grace Wan, protected by Zane Wan, was completely unharmed.
"Evan Xiao," he replied.
"Evan... Evan Xiao... Could it be... Evan Xiao, Crown Prince of the Dragon Clan?"
He'd heard Grace Wan mention him before.
But there are tons of people with the same name in this world. He never imagined it was that Evan Xiao.
Evan Xiao looked at him calmly, not denying it.
"Evan Xiao, Crown Prince of the Dragon Clan!" Zane Wan trembled all over and knelt down. "I was blind! If I'd known the Crown Prince was here, I never would've dared attack the Vermilion Kingdom!"
"Since your clan has only just risen again, I'll grant you the chance to end yourselves," Evan Xiao said. "As for the rest of the Wan Clan, I won't pursue the matter."
Zane Wan's face went ashen. He kowtowed in thanks: "Thank you for your mercy, Crown Prince Xiao!"
"Uncle, what kind of Crown Prince is he? Why should we die just because he says so?" Grace Wan's mind buzzed as she heard Zane Wan keep repeating "Crown Prince Xiao, Crown Prince Xiao."
"Grace, don't speak nonsense!" Zane Wan said, utterly defeated. "He is... the Crown Prince of the Dragon Clan!"
"Dragon Clan... Crown Prince..." Grace Wan stared straight at Evan Xiao. "He was just a regular Elementalist from the Blue Moon Kingdom. How could he be the Crown Prince of the Dragon Clan? He must be a fake! Don't believe him!"
"Enough! Crown Prince Xiao has already shown extraordinary mercy." Zane Wan said, raising his hand and striking his own dantian.
Dantian shattered, life ended.
He shouldn't have acted so rashly.
Letting a spirit beast rampage is strictly forbidden by the Divine Race.
He had to die, or else the Wan Clan would be wiped off the continent...
Grace Wan stared at Zane Wan in disbelief. Did he really just die like that?
The Zane Wan she had always thought was so powerful—he actually killed himself because of one word from Evan Xiao?
She looked at Zane Wan's corpse, then at Evan Xiao, and finally understood—he really was of the Divine Race.
She was powerless to resist.
