With Andrew Han's current Cloud-Sea State Internal Power, he could hardly claim invincibility. Battling giant Demons—especially the Black Dragon—remained a grueling ordeal. But when facing Netherfiends, the situation was entirely different.
His Inspiration, now solidified into a true crystal-diamond core, gave him a decisive edge.
Even Law Realm True Persons could not match Andrew Han’s Inspiration. His slaughter of fourteen Netherfiends before the Black Dragon’s fall was proof enough.
However—
Most spectators were ordinary people, unable to grasp how terrifying this truly was. Netherfiends trapped in the Pacific Theater had no idea what kind of monster Andrew Han had become.
"How do you want to die?"
The Netherfiend turned its ghostly body.
Its pitch-black form twisted and shifted, clearly in the midst of healing its wounds.
Sunlight glittered on the waves, but the whole surface turned dark beneath the Netherfiend’s domain. It stretched its body with leisurely satisfaction, much like a human enjoying a lazy stretch. "I’ve read your file. You’re Andrew Han from Sinovera, famed for your extraordinary Inspiration and for slaying our kind’s greater ghosts."
It spoke in ghost-tongue to its kin.
But when addressing humans, it naturally switched to the common tongue.
"Oh." Andrew Han slipped out of Berserker State, rubbing his temples with fatigue. "Let’s return to the earlier question: How do you want to die?"
"Heh heh heh." The Netherfiend’s ghost domain spread, its sickly green eyes shifting. "In your people’s words… You’re just a cub who doesn’t know to fear the tiger. Like an ant trying to shake a giant tree—amusing, but utterly delusional."
A hush fell.
The blue sea around them was now entirely shrouded in ghostly mist.
Andrew Han shook off his fatigue and regarded the Netherfiend with a wry smile. "A ghost with such eloquence is a rarity."
"Just a touch of flair, nothing special." The Netherfiend laughed eerily, showing no rush to attack. It had nearly exhausted itself inside the war zone and now only wanted to savor the cool air outside.
Andrew Han watched the Netherfiend, which seemed almost ready to weep with relief.
He understood, more or less.
Supreme Zhang had sealed this region with overwhelming power. Giant Demons and Netherfiends, blocked by the Black-and-White Taiji Barrier, were trapped in the war zone and forced into a death struggle against the Law Realm guardians.
Now, Andrew Han had forcibly dragged a Netherfiend out from the sealed battlefield.
"I should thank you," the Netherfiend said, glancing at the rippling Black-and-White Taiji Barrier. Its voice trembled slightly. "You pulled me out, away from the deadly war zone... You freed me, you saved me—you're my benefactor!"
"My benefactor."
"Heh heh heh... On second thought, maybe I should just eat my benefactor."
It kept muttering, but Andrew Han didn’t bother with further words. His left palm, crystal-bright and blazing like a comet from the heavens, descended with the force to shatter the sky, denting the ocean beneath.
His figure burst into motion.
In a thunderous instant, the air itself seemed to ignite and swirl chaotically.
In the next split-second, Andrew Han’s left fist pierced the ghostly body, while his right palm both pressed and gripped the Netherfiend. His tone was gentle, almost kind: "So, tell me—what’s happening inside the war zone?"
???
The Netherfiend was stunned, momentarily frozen.
It tried to resist, but Andrew Han’s right palm struck with shock force, Inspiration-light crackling along the blow. The Netherfiend’s ghost body nearly shattered, its domain dissipating at incredible speed.
Right before Andrew Han.
Ordinary Netherfiends were nothing but paper tigers—weak and pitiful.
"Impossible!"
"I barely escaped that hellish war zone, just now tasting freedom and the open sea." The Netherfiend’s sickly green eyes went wide, a black square appearing at their center as it stared at Andrew Han. "Have you already reached the Law Realm?"
Its ghostly body trembled uncontrollably.
This Andrew Han from Sinovera radiated a presence so dangerous, so overwhelming, it seemed utterly unstoppable.
Andrew Han narrowed his eyes. "What’s happening inside the war zone?"
The Netherfiend shrieked and thrashed wildly. "I won’t tell you! You’ll never find out! If you’ve got the guts, throw me back inside—we’ll fight to the death, fight to the death!"
It screamed, struggled, and regretted its escape all at once.
It was so distraught it could have cried, if it had tears to shed.
It had thought being dragged out would be paradise, but facing this incomprehensible human felt more like being pulled into the jaws of death.
The contrast was staggering.
It wanted to go back!
After all, inside the war zone, it had managed to survive a full week. Out here, it couldn’t last a minute.
"You want to go back?"
Andrew Han narrowed his eyes.
"Yes, I want to go back—really! If you push me inside again, I swear I won’t resist." The Netherfiend pleaded, almost swearing an oath.
Boom!!!
His right palm slammed down, his left fist erupted.
"You want to go back." Andrew Han watched as the Netherfiend dissolved into motes of light, his expression flat. "But I refuse."
"No!"
Its shattered ghost body tried to re-form, still howling in despair.
Autumn sunlight lit the sea.
The sea breeze swept across the waves, cold and stirring.
Andrew Han drew a breath, gathering power in his right fist. He brought it down like a battering ram, smashing a circular depression hundreds of meters wide into the ocean—the Netherfiend was obliterated on the spot.
Weak.
Far too weak.
Andrew Han rubbed his palms and walked toward the ever-spinning Black-and-White Taiji Barrier. "I gave you a choice, and you didn’t take it... Rushing into the war zone would be reckless. I’d rather wait here at the edge."
Still—
Before that... Andrew Han stood silently above the ocean, pausing for a moment before pulling out his issued communicator from his pocket.
The communicator, much like a smart phone, was now battered and broken.
Fortunately, throughout the fierce battle, his Cloud-Sea State Internal Power had flowed ceaselessly, protecting not only his body but also the communicator—otherwise, even diamond would have shattered.
"Can it still work...?"
Andrew Han tapped it twice, trying his luck.
The screen lit up, but was utterly shattered—only a riot of colors remained. It wasn’t a matter of clarity anymore; it was impossible to make anything out.
"Hmm."
"I vaguely remember the tapping sequence."
Andrew Han recalled the steps, his fingers tapping quickly. The fractured screen flickered, and soon the device emitted a call tone.
Success!
In less than two seconds, Xiao Haoyi answered the call.
"Andrew Han?" Xiao Haoyi’s voice was tense. "I can see you through the satellite feed. That’s Supreme Zhang’s Pacific Theater—get out of there, it’s too dangerous!"
Andrew Han shook his head. "It’s fine. I’m lying in wait here—do you have a moment?"
"Yes, yes!" Xiao Haoyi replied quickly. The Black Dragon had led countless monsters and ghosts, but both it and the Netherfiend were slain by Andrew Han. True Person Chen and the Fisherman of the Extreme Realm swept through the battlefield, easily repelling the attack.
Andrew Han drew a breath. "Do me a favor. It’ll take at least half an hour for me to get back to Jiangnan. Please help me find the best medical team in the martial world..."
...
After giving detailed instructions, Andrew Han turned around.
The Black-and-White Taiji Barrier spun slowly, like an overturned sea bowl. Its surface rippled, drawing in air and waves, creating a scene of swirling clouds and churning water.
This was the Pacific Theater.
One of the battlefields that would decide humanity’s fate.
Swish.
Andrew Han’s figure flickered across several kilometers, finally settling in midair at the perfect vantage point, quietly awaiting his moment.
Five minutes... ten minutes... twenty minutes passed.
Sea breezes ruffled the waves, and the Black-and-White Taiji Barrier seemed to become the center of the world.
Andrew Han was deep in thought when he noticed a bulge appear on the barrier’s surface. His eyes lit up, then he shook his head—it was a pale green horn, probably a giant Demon.
"A giant Demon won’t do. I need to hunt Netherfiends."
"Just one more minute... I’ll wait one more minute..." Andrew Han narrowed his eyes, waiting another ten minutes before his clear gaze sharpened.
There!
Got you!
The air shimmered with afterimages as Andrew Han shot forward over a kilometer, his right palm spinning as he dragged out a howling, ghost-blue Netherfiend.
"Damn you, damn humans!"
"I’ll kill you all—kill you damned livestock!"
The Netherfiend was still caught up in the brutal battle of the war zone, barely able to react. Its ghostly body kept unleashing ghostly attacks, but then came the sound of bones shattering.
???
The Netherfiend’s vision went black.
Bang! Bang! Bang!
Andrew Han finished it off with three punches and two kicks, then turned with a flash of excitement in his eyes. "That’s the second Netherfiend down... Who’s next? I’ll wait a bit longer."
...
Half an hour later.
The ninth Netherfiend was dragged out.
"I’m out!"
"I’m finally out—free from that hellish war zone!" It was so thrilled its ghostly body trembled, nearly weeping with joy.
Boom!
With a casual slap, Andrew Han turned away. "Who’s next?"
