Velvet Blossom House

Sean Shen and Bald Lee thought it made sense. Although they didn’t really know what made the Heaven‑Battling Yang Clan so formidable, they were sure the clan was powerful.

Simon Spring, seeing the two understood, took them to prepare supplies in case they wouldn’t be able to leave later.

Terry Yang entered Velvet Blossom House as if it were his own home. The women at the entrance tried to pull him in, but he wasn’t in the mood and said, “Don’t bother me.” He brushed past them and entered a lavishly decorated room. Inside, a middle-aged woman sat with her legs crossed on a chair, gazing at the ceiling in a relaxed manner.

“Madam, aren’t you going to get up?” Terry Yang said.

Hearing the familiar voice, the woman immediately sat up from her lounging position and looked at Terry, saying, “You rascal.”

“Madam, why are you so relaxed today?” Terry Yang asked.

Curious, Evan followed. He saw Terry being taken to a room surrounded by tight security, guarded by elite protectors and defensive formations. The madam arranged things for Terry inside and then left.

“Yeah, help me arrange things tonight,” Terry Yang said.

“Alright, same place as always. See you tonight.” The madam smiled.

“Got it. But before I leave, send me a few women,” Terry Yang said.

The madam laughed, "You men of the Yang Clan are all like this. You’ll never escape that curse. But it’s good for me—my business keeps thriving."

"Enough talk. I want the best. You’ve got some, right?" Terry Yang asked.

For women like this, Evan had no intention of interfering in their fate. The woman approached Terry and smiled, "What’s your name?"

Terry thought for a moment. "Just two for now. Too many and I won’t have much use for them anyway."

"My name is Lena Plain," the woman said with a smile. (Note: 'Plain' here means 'no glamor.' Her name contrasts with 'Lena Belle,' which means 'has glamor.')

"Lena Plain? That’s an unusual name. With your looks, Lena Belle would sound better," Terry laughed. (In Chinese, 'Plain' means 'no glamor,' and 'Belle' means 'has glamor.')

Curious, Evan followed. He saw Terry being taken to a room surrounded by tight security, guarded by elite protectors and defensive formations. The madam arranged things for Terry inside and then left.

"Guard carefully. Don’t let anyone near," the madam told the guards.

The guards nodded. They knew only big shots could enter this kind of place, so they didn’t dare disturb them. Otherwise, their souls would be wiped out.

Evan watched with curiosity, wanting to go inside. So he found a corner and used his knowledge of formations to slip in. The array wasn’t strong—just basic defense and, more importantly, a warning system.

But Evan easily broke through and slipped inside, so the defense was basically useless.

Inside was a three‑story building. Evan flew up and, using Heaven’s Eye Sight, peered through the window formations. He saw different women on each floor. Terry was on the third floor, tangled up with one woman, while another stood in a corner, dull‑eyed and almost numb.

"That beast, doing this again." Evan saw the woman with Terry’s aura changing subtly, her energy slowly weakening, while Terry’s whole body flushed red.

"Strange, why is he like this?" Evan wondered, keeping watch. When Terry finished, his face returned to normal. The woman with him fell asleep, her aura extremely weak, as if all her power had been drained, while Terry was full of energy.

Terry shook off his irritation, finally feeling relieved after days. He looked at the second woman and smiled, "You come over too."

"Will I end up like her? My cultivation regressing?" the woman asked in surprise.

"A little, but you came here—do you really care?" Terry laughed.

"I didn’t volunteer," the woman said, gritting her teeth.

"Not a volunteer? What’s your cultivation? Emperor‑Realm, right? If you didn’t volunteer, could you really be forced here?" Terry asked suspiciously.

The woman looked at Terry and said, "Actually, I came to find someone. And now I’ve found him." "You found him? That won’t do. This isn’t a place you can just come and go as you please. Since you’re here, come over and serve me. If you do well, maybe I’ll bring you to my clan." Terry smiled. "What clan are you from?" the woman asked. "The Yang Clan, Heaven‑Battling Yang Clan. You know it? It’s a powerful clan. If you want in, just serve me well." Terry tempted her. "Really?" the woman asked in shock.

Evan sighed helplessly, "Women driven by self-interest."

Terry was furious and chased after her, with Evan following close behind. As they burst through the formation, many guards saw them—a man chasing a woman. Seeing this, the guards immediately joined the hunt.

For women like this, Evan had no intention of interfering in their fate. The woman approached Terry and smiled, "What’s your name?"

"I’m Terry Yang. And you?" Terry grabbed her hand, enchanted by its softness and scent.

"My name is Lena Plain," the woman said with a smile.

"My name is Lena Plain," the woman said with a smile. (Note: In Chinese, 'Plain' means 'no glamor.' Her name contrasts with 'Lena Belle,' which means 'has glamor.' This wordplay is significant in the story.)

"Lena Plain? That’s an unusual name. With your looks, Lena Belle would sound better," Terry laughed. (Note: In Chinese, 'Plain' means 'no glamor,' and 'Belle' means 'has glamor.' This is a play on words.)

"Is that so? I think we should discuss it in bed." Terry smiled, pulling Lena Plain to the bedside and wrapping his arms around her, about to kiss her.

Suddenly, a harsh scraping noise sounded—like something sharp grating against something hard.

Terry looked at his abdomen. A thin sword was pressed against his chest. His expression changed drastically, and Lena Plain was shocked—it hadn’t pierced him, but was blocked by a golden light.

“Damn it!” Terry was furious. Lena Plain leaped back, her agile figure leaving afterimages. She stared at Terry in shock, “I didn’t expect you to have such a shield protecting your body.”

“Who are you, really? Why do you want to kill me?” Terry pulled on his clothes and glared at Lena Plain. She hadn’t actually hurt him, but he couldn’t tolerate being attacked like this, so he was enraged.

“Since it’s come to this, I’ll at least let you know why you have to die.” Lena Plain snorted coldly.

“Say it!” Terry glared at her.

Outside, Evan looked surprised and muttered, “They’re fighting?”

Just moments ago Lena Plain was flirting, now she was trying to kill Terry. Evan was curious, and so was Terry—he wanted to know her identity and why she wanted him dead.

“Looks like you’ve been with so many women you’ve forgotten. Do you know Lena Belle?” Lena Plain asked.

“Lena Belle?” Terry frowned, confused.

“That’s right. You just tried to give me that name, didn’t you? Well, let me tell you—she was my sister, and you killed her, you beast!” Lena Plain shouted angrily.

Terry searched his memory and finally exclaimed, “So you’re the sister of that stinking woman!”

"What, remembered now? I’ve waited here for years, and finally you showed up. Today I’ll kill you and avenge my sister!" Lena Plain shouted angrily. "Avenge her? You were right next to me and couldn’t even touch me. Dream on. Today I’ll send you to join that stinking woman," Terry snorted.

Lena Plain was furious. Years ago, she learned her sister had died mysteriously and investigated, eventually arriving here. She waited bitterly for years, and when she saw someone using the same method, she was sure it was him. Their earlier conversation confirmed Terry was the one she sought.

The two fought fiercely inside the room. Thanks to the soundproof formation, the guards outside had no idea what was happening, nor did anyone on the other floors.

Evan watched through the window formation, able to see their every move and hear their words.

Inside, the fight was intense, but Terry kept using his shield, leaving Lena Plain helpless and frustrated.

Terry, enraged, finally took out a rope. It was golden, about three meters long, and under his control it snaked toward Lena Plain.

Lena Plain kept retreating. She didn’t know what the rope was, but her attacks did nothing—it acted like a hard, living serpent.

When the rope was just a few feet from Lena Plain, it formed a loop, aiming to ensnare her.

Lena Plain was alarmed and flickered aside, escaping its range. But Terry then produced a sharp cone and threw it at her back.

"Ah!" Lena Plain was struck by the cone and instantly sensed something was wrong—it was poisoned.

She knew staying here meant certain death, so she smashed through the window and quickly flew out.

Terry was furious and chased after her, with Evan following close behind. As they burst through the formation, many guards saw them—a man chasing a woman. Seeing this, the guards immediately joined the hunt.

Lena Plain, badly injured, knew escape was nearly impossible, but she refused to give up. She took out a treasure that looked like a small boat.

Without hesitation, she stepped aboard. In a flash, she vanished in front of everyone. Terry, enraged, shouted, “Damn it, chase her!”

But Lena Plain’s treasure left no trail, so no one knew where to chase. Terry cursed in anger, even drawing the madam over and questioning her about Lena’s background.

Meanwhile, Lena Plain, barely holding on, used all her strength to control the flying boat. Her body grew weaker and weaker, and a cold aura seeped out from within her.
