"Hello, friends of Huaxia. As you can see, I've got tens of thousands of Chinese-Americans locked up here. These people are being treated like pigs and dogs. If you don't come save them, they're going to die—right now!" On the livestream, a burly American thug in a mask shouted, yanking a Chinese man in front of the camera. There was a blood-curdling scream, and the guy swung his knife—one slash, and the Chinese man's head flew off, skull split open. Even worse, the body was tossed straight into a meat grinder.
"From now on, we'll kill someone every single day, as payback for you slaughtering my two hundred thousand elite soldiers!" The masked guy kept ranting, while screams echoed all around.
"Son of a bitch! These bastards, these animals—I request permission to lead a suicide squad and storm in there!"
"Let me take a squad too! Screw it, let's fight these American bastards to the end!"
"I'm going too! Please approve!"
......
For a moment, everyone watching the scene basically lost their minds. This was a naked challenge to Huaxia’s bottom line.
"Master Ling, these bastards have gone too far! If we don't act, every Chinese in America could end up dead!" Daniel Deng gritted his teeth, totally furious.
"Hold on! Let me think!" Ryan Ling clenched his fists. Anyone seeing this would be grinding their teeth, itching to rush in and slaughter every last one of those bastards.
But Ryan was obviously the one in charge here—he had to stay calm.
Anyone with half a brain could see this was a trap.
And the ones pulling the strings probably weren’t even America’s top brass—it had to be KL’s demonic freaks, maybe even Warren Damon himself. No doubt he was out for payback after what happened in the Yama Hall.
Ryan could charge in and start killing right now—but if he did, there was only one outcome: death.
"Ryan, you absolutely can't act on impulse right now! With your current strength, charging in is almost certain doom. At minimum, you need to hit the Heaven-Tribulation Stage—otherwise, you'd be jumping straight into a firepit!" yelled the Ghost Elder from inside.
Ryan said nothing—the Ghost Elder was right. This was a firepit, plain and simple.
But if he didn’t go, how could he swallow this humiliation? Warren Damon and KL deserved to die a thousand deaths!
"Here's the plan: Contact Russia and every country in the Huaxia Alliance. Put pressure on the United States—or start killing their citizens too! Hell, there are plenty of Americans in all our neighboring countries, and those lives are worth a fortune. Kill a few, kill them all!" Ryan gritted his teeth. "Also, team up with Russia—deploy every sub, every warship we’ve got, and head straight for the U.S. Let’s see if America’s hundreds of millions aren’t scared now!"
"Damn right—kill them! If they can murder our people, we can do the same to theirs. Let’s see who’s got the guts!" The generals started shouting one after another.
But Daniel Deng stayed silent. He knew that this kind of tit-for-tat slaughter wasn’t the real solution.
"Give me a few days. I’ll go to the U.S. myself. Until then, do whatever it takes to minimize casualties!" Ryan steadied himself. He knew the Ghost Elder was right—he had to break through to the Heaven-Tribulation Stage as fast as possible. If he went to America at peak Nascent Soul, it’d be hopeless; only Heaven-Tribulation gave him a fighting chance. And there was only one place to make that breakthrough: the Divine Dragon’s Crystal Palace. With the Divine Dragon’s power, he just might soar.
"Understood, Master Ling. Just do whatever you think is best—we’ll follow your lead!" Daniel Deng nodded hard, clearly only feeling reassured once Ryan gave the order.
"Alright, everyone get moving!" Ryan waved his hand. Time was running out—he had to contact the Divine Dragon, and every second counted. Once everything was set, Ryan headed off alone for the Crystal Palace.
After the last disaster in Huaxia, the Divine Dragon had been wounded fighting over twenty KL Protectors. Now, even the coordinates of its Crystal Palace had shifted.
After a few hours, Ryan finally made it to the South Sea.
"Divine Dragon! Divine Dragon!" Ryan stepped into the South Sea and started calling out with a special sound technique, but after ten minutes of shouting, there was still no answer.
Suddenly, Ryan’s heart skipped a beat—was the Divine Dragon even more seriously hurt than last time?
Just then, a gentle female voice sounded nearby: "Ryan, I’ve already settled the Divine Dragon near Southcape. Come with me!"
Ryan was stunned—the speaker was none other than Paula Bloom, whom he’d met in Southcape before. They’d parted in a hurry last time, and now here she was again. Paula looked even more refined than before, her curves even more seductive, and clearly her power had grown fast too.
"Alright, take me there!" Ryan nodded to Paula. With his support, she was now the undisputed boss of Southcape, and since Southcape was far from Huaxia’s mainland, the chaos hadn’t reached here.
"Mm." Paula nodded shyly, then after a few steps, she glanced back with a soft smile: "Have you missed me these past few days?"
"Of course I did!" Ryan blurted, his eyes darting to Paula’s chest—and he couldn’t help but swallow.
"That’s all I needed to hear!" Paula’s cheeks flushed even redder. Soon, the two arrived at a stretch of sea near Southcape. The water here was warm, full of fish, and so shallow that no one would ever suspect a Divine Dragon was resting below.
"Divine Dragon!" Ryan’s heart clenched—the Divine Dragon’s aura was weak. Clearly, it had fought desperately against the KL Protectors for Ryan, reopening old wounds and piling new ones on top.
Right now, even responding to Ryan’s calls seemed to be beyond the Divine Dragon’s strength.

"Divine Dragon, are you alright?" Ryan gazed at the dragon, full of guilt. For Huaxia’s sake, the Divine Dragon had given everything—almost its very life.
"He still can’t answer you. The wounds are too severe—he nearly died not long ago. Luckily, I got Southcape’s best healing medicines to him in time, but it’s still heartbreaking." Paula shook her head, helpless.
"I’m late. Let me heal you now!" Ryan didn’t hesitate—he was already at peak Nascent Soul, and the most crucial thing was that all the Heavenwood Flowers inside his Demon-Snaring Bowl had bloomed. Their life liquid was exactly what the Divine Dragon needed.
Without delay, Ryan poured every last drop of accumulated life liquid into the Divine Dragon’s body!
The instant infusion helped the Divine Dragon rally a bit—its dull scales slowly regained their shine. But with wounds stacked on wounds, the situation was dire. Even the life power of Heavenwood Flowers wasn’t enough to save it.
"Again!" Ryan didn’t hesitate—he unleashed his full Nascent Soul power to bolster the Divine Dragon. But even with all his strength, there was no way to heal the dragon in just a short time.
"Ryan, I get how you feel, but even if you burn up all your Nascent Soul power, you can’t heal the Divine Dragon right now. It’ll take a long time—unless you have a Life Fruit. That might just work!" the Ghost Elder said urgently from inside.
"Life Fruit? You mean the fruit condensed from Heavenwood’s life flowers?" Ryan asked, startled.
"Exactly. The Life Fruit. But it takes a ton of nourishment to condense—last time, you wiped out an entire Blood Clan and that was just enough for Heavenwood to bloom. To bear fruit, you’d probably need to destroy at least ten Blood Clans. It’s just too hard!" the Ghost Elder replied.
"Hard or not, I’m going to restore the Divine Dragon!" Ryan gritted his teeth.
"Ryan, I... I’m alright!" The Divine Dragon, revived by the life liquid, had regained its mind. It looked at Ryan, seeming to understand his intentions. "Don’t worry about me—do what you need to do. I know a perfect spot for your Heaven-Tribulation breakthrough. Go there, now..."
