Luna Lian hung up her Messenger Charm and walked from the empty courtyard to her Divine Father's residence.
More and more people were arriving.
The chiefs, elders, and clansmen of the great families were all here, forming a dark, pressing crowd.
In the open space before Quentin Lian's gate, they surrounded High God Quentin Lian, High Goddess Vivian Lu, and Qilin Divine Lord Soren Lann.
Their own Palace Guards were locked in a standoff with Ethan Lu's troops outside the Peach Blossom Haven Spirit Barrier.
"High God Quentin Lian, since she's not here, please contact her and have her return immediately!"
"My father was killed by Bianca Whitefan! A father's murder is a blood feud—I'll never rest until I personally slay that little demon!"
"My son was also killed by Bianca Whitefan! Hand her over now—we want to grind her bones to ash!"

"Exactly! I've always wondered about that," the Yu Clan Chief raised an eyebrow and asked, "Did you know her true identity? If you knew she was Bianca Whitefan's daughter and still raised her as your own... that's really suspicious!"
As he spoke, he turned to the Xi Clan Chief: "Chief Xi, what do you think?"
The three strongest divine clans in the Lumina Realm are: the Sang clan, the Lu clan, and the Xi clan.

The Xi Clan Chief stroked his beard, looked at Quentin Lian, and asked slowly but clearly, "Back then, Bianca Whitefan slaughtered the previous Divine Lord's entire family and massacred thousands of our Qilin Clan Palace Guards. High God Quentin Lian, can you explain why you helped raise her daughter? And raised her into such a radiant beauty, loved by all, the 'Number One Divine Lady of the Lumina Realm'?"
Quentin Lian lowered his eyes, pondering in silence.
"High God Quentin Lian!" Lucas Kee, the Xi chief's son, shot a sideways glance at Soren Lann and sneered, "You're usually so eloquent, but today you keep silent! That just makes me more suspicious—is there some hidden story here?"
"Hidden story? What do you mean?" the Yu Clan Chief echoed.
"Just think about it! The previous Divine Lord was killed by Bianca Whitefan, then High God Quentin Lian ruled as regent for centuries, and his disciple became the new Divine Lord! And he raised Bianca Whitefan's daughter! Don't you think that's suspicious?" Lucas Kee sneered.
"Lucas Kee!" High Goddess Vivian Lu snapped, "Aren't you ashamed to say such things? Back then, Erxia and I fought for ten months straight, risking our lives to trap her in the array. If we hadn't, thousands more Palace Guards would have died! You should be grateful you even exist to mouth off here!"
