Two Mud People

After discussing with Gaopeng Shangguan, Ian Song decided to wait a while before launching the Heart-Saver Pills. Right now, the Rapid-Acting Diabetes Pills are selling at their peak, and releasing the Heart-Saver Pills too soon would steal their thunder. By waiting until the diabetes pills' momentum fades, the launch of the Heart-Saver Pills can trigger another wave of excitement.

Both the ready-to-eat foods and the pharmaceutical company are running smoothly without Ian’s direct involvement. Faith Power and Fame Points are steadily increasing every day, so Ian plans to make a trip back to Riverstone City.

He can’t keep hiding the fact that he’s found more than ten wives outside from Hannah Han forever. Since he’ll have to come clean sooner or later, he might as well do it now.

Just as he was about to leave, he suddenly received a call from Faye Shangguan.

After a short period of training, she had officially taken up her role as Cynthia Murong’s agent, and within just a few days, she managed to secure an international cosmetics endorsement deal for Cynthia.

The contract is for three years, with an annual endorsement fee of $800,000, totaling $2.4 million. Converted to Yanhuang currency, that’s nearly 150 million yuan—raising Cynthia Murong’s market value by twenty or thirty million.

“Mr. Song, something’s wrong! Cynthia fell and broke her lower leg during filming because of the aura pressure issue. She’s on her way to the hospital right now!”

“Oh? Which hospital?” Ian Song frowned.

“Westchuan State First People’s Hospital!”

“Alright, I got it. I’ll head over right away!” Ian replied. He hung up, and with a flash, vanished from his office—appearing instantly at Westchuan State First People’s Hospital the very next moment.

On the other end, Faye Shangguan was puzzled. Wasn’t he supposed to be in Flame City? How could he possibly arrive so quickly—did he come to Westchuan too?

Fifteen minutes later.

The ambulance carrying Cynthia Murong drove straight into the hospital’s special channel, where a team of medical staff—already waiting—escorted her into a special emergency room.

Because of this, the reporters waiting at the hospital—hoping for news about Cynthia Murong’s accident—ended up missing everything.

“All of you, out!”

Ian Song, who had been waiting here all along, waved at the medical staff who’d brought Cynthia Murong in.

“Mr. Song, how are you here?”

Seeing Ian Song standing in the emergency room, Faye Shangguan couldn’t help but be baffled.

“Of course I’m here to treat her leg!” Ian said, pointing at the unconscious Cynthia Murong.

“You know medicine?” Faye Shangguan looked at him, full of curiosity.

“What’s so strange about that?”

As he spoke, Ian Song first realigned Cynthia Murong’s displaced calf bone, then sent a stream of divine Radiance of Life into it. Instantly, her fractured bone began to heal at a terrifying speed.

In just three seconds, Cynthia Murong’s broken bone was completely healed.

“Mm!”

With a soft groan, Cynthia Murong slowly woke up. Seeing Ian Song standing by the bedside, she couldn’t help but ask, “Mr. Song, why are you here?”

“I heard you were hurt, so I came to check on you,” Ian replied.

At his words, Cynthia Murong suddenly remembered something and her face changed. “My leg!”

“Your leg is fine. If you don’t believe me, get up and walk around!” Ian said with a smile.

“Are you crazy? Her leg was broken—how could she possibly…” Faye Shangguan’s words trailed off as Cynthia Murong sat up and placed her feet on the floor, without a trace of pain on her face!

“Xiaoyue, your leg is really healed?” Faye Shangguan stared in astonishment at the scene before her.

"It really does seem fine."

Cynthia Murong took a few steps and found that the leg she’d broken truly felt perfectly normal. For a moment, doubt flooded her mind—she distinctly remembered hearing the sound of her bone breaking when she fell, so how could it be fine now?

“You… You really healed Xiaoyue’s broken leg?” Faye Shangguan looked at Ian Song again, her face full of shock and disbelief.

“Why don’t you try breaking your own leg and see if I can fix it?” Ian said with a playful smile.

“Pfft!” Faye Shangguan spat. “I don’t have that kind of masochistic tendency!”

“Feifei, are you saying my leg was healed by Mr. Song?”

Hearing their conversation, Cynthia Murong also looked utterly incredulous.

Faye Shangguan nodded seriously. “How could it be fake? If I hadn’t seen it with my own eyes, I’d never believe it. That guy just touched your calf a couple times, and your broken leg was healed. It’s unbelievable!”

“Touched it a couple times? I was treating her!” Ian retorted, a bit annoyed.

With Faye Shangguan’s confirmation, Cynthia Murong’s beautiful eyes sparkled as she gazed at Ian Song. “Thank you, Mr. Song.”

"It's nothing. You're an artist under my company—this is just what I should do!" Ian Song replied with a nonchalant smile. Suddenly, an idea struck him: "Do you two want to learn martial arts? If you’re interested, I can teach you some skills. Next time something like this happens, at least you’ll be able to protect yourselves!"

“Great!” Faye Shangguan nodded enthusiastically, waving her hands.

Cynthia Murong, however, hesitated. “I’ve heard you need to start martial arts training from a young age. Aren’t I a bit too old for it?”

Ian Song said proudly, “That’s true for ordinary martial artists, but I’m different. If you want to learn, I can make sure you master self-defense skills in the shortest time possible!”

“Alright, I want to learn!” Cynthia Murong nodded.

“Me too!”

Faye Shangguan echoed her.

“Alright!” As soon as he finished speaking, Ian Song tapped his fingers twice, sending two beams of golden light into their foreheads. Instantly, a burst of information was imprinted directly into their minds.

“Huh? Why do I suddenly have all this new stuff in my head?” As Ian Song withdrew his fingers, Faye Shangguan exclaimed in surprise, staring at him. “Is this the legendary ‘bestowal from above’?”

“You could say that!”
