Forever Ants in the Eyes of the Gods

1/5/2026

Right now, even with insane pressure bearing down, Ryan Ling wasn’t rattled in the slightest. He’d completely leveled up from his old self—his whole vibe was maxed out, every cell exploding with raw power, his energy crackling like fireworks. This was peak Immortal Emperor mode, and not just anyone could pull this off. Even the air itself seemed to orbit around him!

“You bunch of bastards! I don’t care how slick your tricks are or how deep your cultivation runs—Heavenly Palace? Screw it. I’m going full send today!” Ryan’s roar shattered records, pure battle hype. He knew the score: now that things had hit this point, hesitation was deleted from his code. No retreat, no brakes, just charge. If he could blast through to the front, if he could smash straight into the core of the Heavenly Palace, then the whole Immortal World would have to bow to him!

And those Heavenly Palace goons? They weren’t just some random mobs. They’d jumped him more times than he could count—even wrecked his last life. This time, it was kill or be killed. Ryan was out to erase them, pixel by pixel, until his status was unshakable!

Ryan locked onto that thought and didn’t even bother with the Three Graves Brothers’ trash talk—he blasted forward, zero hesitation. The Heavenly Palace’s aura was crashing down like a meteor, but Ryan just shrugged it off. His own power detonated, and in the blink of an eye, two forces collided: Ryan’s Immortal Emperor-level brute force versus a wild, mysterious power, both off the charts. The collision turned the world into a warzone—everything, inside and out, got wiped clean in a heartbeat!

It was like someone hit pause on space and time—reality itself froze. The vibe was pure shock-and-awe, the kind of scene that makes your soul want to alt-F4.

But here’s the real horror: Ryan tanked it. Nobody believed their eyes, but the nightmare was just starting. Ryan was in beast mode, unleashing a roar that felt like the end of days—sky cracking, sun and moon snuffed out, the whole world glitching. He slammed his power to the absolute limit, and suddenly, something wild happened. The Three Graves Brothers, shielded by layers of aura, were supposed to be untouchable, but Ryan’s eruption locked them down. They were trapped—raw power, no escape. Total mind-break scene.

Even with the Heavenly Palace’s squad trying to intervene, at this clutch moment, nobody could save them. The crowd just lost it—screaming, bugging out, unable to process what they were seeing. Ryan’s power was way past human limits, straight-up nightmare fuel!

And right then, the Three Graves Brothers finally cracked—screaming for their lives, begging for a save, panic mode fully activated!

“Masters of the Heavenly Palace, save us! Please, we don’t want to die—we don’t want to die!”

Right now, the Three Graves Brothers were witnessing a scene straight out of a nightmare. Ryan Ling’s unleashed power was so fierce, even gods and ghosts would run for cover. Sure, the brothers were all Immortal Emperor peak—top of the leaderboard—but compared to Ryan, they were less than ants. Total system wipe.

Right now, Ryan Ling was totally off his rocker—he’d gone full berserk, looking absolutely insane, like a demon unleashed. He didn’t care about anything anymore, just pure, terrifying madness!

“Damn it, I’m gonna butcher you right here in front of the whole Immortal World—wipe you out, not one left! Let’s see who dares stop me!” Ryan’s roar was utterly insane, shaking the heavens and darkening the sun and moon. Everything around twisted and changed in that instant. As he went wild, the Three Graves Brothers’ clothes exploded, their flesh split open—the whole scene was a meltdown. Ryan’s power was just ridiculous. Anyone watching would go nuts!

“Holy crap, this guy’s nuts! His power is insane—he’s actually holding out against the Heavenly Palace’s crushing pressure! This is unreal!” The crowd was shouting nonstop, unable to believe what they were seeing. In their eyes, the Heavenly Palace was unbeatable—no one, no force could ever stand up to their top experts!

But the power Ryan was showing right now? It was enough to break anyone—just pure horror. Even with the Heavenly Palace making their move, it looked like they still couldn’t stop Ryan’s rampage. It was just unbelievable!

The Three Graves Brothers were totally stunned—shaken to the core, maybe even doomed. They couldn’t believe it: even with the Heavenly Palace crew stepping in, they still couldn’t break free from Ryan’s grip. It felt like they were about to get slaughtered for real. Their minds just couldn’t handle it—each one was shell-shocked, on the verge of dropping dead!

Meanwhile, up in the Heavenly Palace, they were just as shocked—a bunch of deadly eyes swept down, trying to see who was actually daring to go up against them!

And the moment those eyes locked onto Ryan, every single gaze was full of shock—like, they just couldn’t believe it. In their world, even if someone was strong, nobody should be able to pull off what Ryan was doing!

But Ryan didn’t hesitate for a second—he kept up his mad assault, totally convinced he was the king of all-out attacks, never letting anything slow him down. The Three Graves Brothers had completely snapped; all they could do was scream, totally powerless to fight back. They looked like they were about to bite it for real, but Ryan didn’t show a shred of mercy. He unleashed a brutal blast of power, and the three of them started shrieking again, each one getting their skin ripped clean off in an instant. It was a total nightmare, but that was just the start—the real kicker was that their flesh and essence were getting sucked out by Ryan nonstop. These guys were top-tier, so their essence was pure gold for Ryan. All that juicy energy flowed into him, and he felt insanely pumped, like he’d just been injected with the ultimate super-nutrient. Even while taking the full force of the Heavenly Palace’s attacks, Ryan didn’t feel tired at all—he was still riding high!

Seeing this, all those eyes shooting out from the Heavenly Palace were visibly shocked. Nobody expected Ryan’s strength to be this wild—he’d pushed his Immortal Emperor power to the absolute limit. That kind of strength wasn’t something regular people could ever have. Right now, under this insane bombardment, even the Heavenly Palace’s top dogs couldn’t stand up to him for a second.

And right at that critical moment, Ryan didn’t hesitate—he unleashed a massive burst of power, and suddenly the air was filled with explosions. The whole sky seemed to blow up, and the Three Graves Brothers were torn apart in an instant. These guys were all top-tier Immortal Emperors, with crazy skills nobody else could match, but under Ryan’s barrage, they couldn’t even save their own lives. In a flash, all three were blasted to pieces—none survived.

Seeing all this go down, the surviving experts around were totally stunned—eyes wide, jaws dropped. Nobody could believe that even with help from the Heavenly Palace, you still couldn’t escape doom. Three insanely powerful Immortal Emperors, wiped out in the chaos—everyone was left speechless, doubting their own eyes. And even the Heavenly Palace heavyweights were just as shocked.

Ryan didn’t hesitate for a second—he sucked up all those auras in one go. That essence was a massive boost for his next breakthrough. He knew Immortal Emperor was strong, but it wasn’t the endgame. Smashing into the Heavenly Palace head-on, Ryan instantly realized there was an even higher tier: the Supreme God-King Realm. Those guys were on a whole other level—outside the limits of heaven and earth, even if the universe blew up, they’d still be there. Right now, they all lived in the Heavenly Palace, and back in his last life, it was those Supreme God-Kings who wrecked him. They were totally ruthless. Sure, Ryan used to be insanely strong too, but he couldn’t match their scheming and tricks, and that’s why he got destroyed last time. Now, facing that aura, all his past-life memories came flooding back!

And right as the Three Graves Brothers died, a swarm of even stronger Heavenly Palace experts poured their power down. Killing those three had seriously pissed off the Palace big shots, and these guys were next-level—each one stronger than all Three Graves Brothers combined, and there were a ton of them. Together, their power was just overwhelming. Even with all his strength, Ryan was no match for this crowd!

But even then, Ryan didn’t run—he knew that while their power was off the charts and way beyond what he could handle, this kind of clash was a huge boost for him. If he could just hold his own for a bit, it’d toughen up his body and skyrocket his strength. So he didn’t back down; instead, an insane force blasted out from inside him. He wanted to go head-to-head with the real Heavenly Palace experts, to see their true power for himself—only then could he face anything else with confidence.

Suddenly, with a deafening boom, two monstrous forces collided. Ryan felt like he was getting tossed around in the air, rolling hundreds of times, his blood and qi flipping inside out. It was straight-up agony—he couldn’t hold on for a second. But just when it seemed too much, a surge of power steadied him. His luck was fierce; even after taking that brutal hit, he didn’t back down at all!

“Not bad, kid—you’re still standing? Let’s see how long you last!” boomed a voice from the other side. Clearly, this wasn’t just any random expert—the guy was powerful, his skills way above the rest. Ryan could tell his strength was on par with a Supreme God-King. Against that, Ryan was totally outclassed, but he was ready to risk it all. Even if he couldn’t win, just surviving against a Supreme God-King would solidify his strength and give him a huge boost. After all, this kind of trial was rare as hell!

But in the blink of an eye, after a brutal collision, Ryan was sent flying. This was disaster-level stuff—no way he could handle that kind of power. He looked wrecked, but it was all surface damage. Inside, he was totally fine; his core hadn’t taken a scratch. In fact, the impact gave him a massive upgrade—a real qualitative leap. Thanks to that Supreme God-King’s strike, Ryan’s Immortal Emperor power leveled up big time. Compared to anyone else at his tier, he was a whole different beast now. This kind of crazy tempering was priceless for any top cultivator.

That was enough for Ryan—so he didn’t hesitate, just shot off into the distance. To outsiders, it looked like he’d been knocked flat.

“Wait, is he trying to run?” Even though Ryan was hiding his escape perfectly, the Heavenly Palace experts weren’t easy to fool—they saw right through it. But Ryan was already way ahead; he knew he couldn’t mess around, so he’d planned his exit from the start. Even though he looked hurt, he was totally fine, and he’d already set up his retreat. The moment they attacked, he was gone—far, far away. No matter how strong they were, they couldn’t track him down!

“Damn, that guy’s fast! I can’t catch up—my aura feels like it’s been blocked by some mysterious power!” yelled one of the Heavenly Palace experts, clearly frustrated. But there was nothing he could do; Ryan was just too strong. Getting away like that was no small feat!

Now, Ryan dove straight underground—outside was way too dangerous, but the earth was a natural refuge. Down there, he had Primeval Heavenwood to shield him. Ever since he’d planted it under Heaven City, the tree had gone totally wild, growing into a massive web. Its roots spread everywhere, forming a giant underground network that covered the whole Immortal World. Nobody but Ryan could see this scene!

With those roots helping out, Ryan shot off to a super distant, mysterious spot. It was the perfect hideout, and underground he felt totally at home. His injuries healed up in a flash—his power, potential, and strength were all maxed out. Even a Supreme God-King couldn’t stop him down here. Still, Ryan knew he couldn’t go nuts with another all-out attack; he needed to build up even more power to keep himself safe!

Ryan knew that normal breakthroughs didn’t mean much to him anymore—unless he could jump straight to Supreme God-King. For most people, that sounded totally insane, since he’d just hit peak Immortal Emperor. Trying to break through again was super risky, almost impossible. But now, Ryan had perfectly fused with his past-life body, which was packed with memories—some seriously exciting ones, like the locations of every treasure in the Immortal World. If he could dig them all up and fuse them with himself, maybe he really could jump straight to Supreme God-King!

But Ryan wasn’t about to hesitate—not with his huge advantage: those insanely strong Heavenwood roots. They could probe everywhere, and as long as he followed the trail, he could fuse all those treasures into his body. That’d give his power a massive boost!

“Go!” Ryan didn’t hesitate for a second—he shot off underground, tearing through the Immortal World like it was nothing. In no time, he scooped up a ton of treasures, but for his next breakthrough, they were just a drop in the bucket. Even if he reached Immortal Emperor great-perfection, it wouldn’t be enough. He needed something way bigger, some ultimate guarantee, to really push him over the edge. Ryan knew his base was already insanely strong, so to reach Supreme God-King, he’d need a treasure haul as vast as the ocean…
